- Last year, PFF college football analyst Max Chadwick joined the show and made some bold proclamations, which ended up coming true -- he predicted that Michigan football would win the 2023 national championship. While he's not going to similar lengths in 2024, he shared his thoughts on the Wolverines, ranging from four potential first-round draft picks next year, why the defense will be among college football's best, playmakers on the offense, and overall outlook.

They didn’t just lose, they were thoroughly pummeled two out of three years and although close in year three, were still pushed around. Michigan is a much more physical team and Ryan day knows it, which is why he hired Chip Kelly as OC and start running the football again.

I'd agree with Max about JJ in the draft. I will add what he didn't say though: Since he won't be drafted as early as speculated, he will be a steal for whoever picks him. I'm hoping he gets a chance to prove himself on the field wherever he goes, so hopefully he goes to a team that is looking for a change in QB and not just a second string option.

This “sign stealing “ bull is getting old! I understand that in person scouting is illegal. But let’s be honest here. It was extremely stupid to do something like that. You really don’t get anything out of it. Every team consistently changes their signals, at a minimum they change them every half. That’s because it’s legal to “steal “ signals during games. You really don’t get much of an advantage from “stealing “ last week’s signals. If you’ve never played organized football at any level, let me explain. Have you ever noticed the quarterback flip up that covered wrist band during the huddle? That’s because even the QB doesn’t know the play being called! Seriously, the QB can’t keep up with all the signal changes and has a “cheat sheet” on his wrist! Do people not know this? Your team doesn’t even know your signals. You think they are the same as the last game? So stupid!

Ya that'll work in a court of law or with the NCAA. NO, they DO NOT change signals every game or at half. Changing signals as often as you foolishly claim would lead to mistake after mistake on signals being relayed and/or read by the QB, THEN relayed to players.It only seems simple to those who never played at a high level. It DOES NOT matter if an advantage was gained. Does it gain an advantage if you go 100 in a 50? You break a law, rule or bylaw you pay the penalty. All you have to do is change the indicator but you probably don’t even know what that is and yes d3 teams change their signs at halftime all the time or I should say they change the indicator. It’s impossible to pick signs at a 100 percent rate and if u don’t get that then I don’t know what to tell ya
Then why do it if it doesn't give you an advantage? Why spend 50 or 100k in tickets, hotels, and airfare over 3 years ? Why dress a coach up in another teams gear and place him on that sideline of that other team with inspector gadget spy glasses on taping signs? Why involve all of the people that were sent to all of these different games all over the country? If it didn't give them that big of an advantage then why wouldn't they stop after a few weeks. They kept it going till caught for 3 years.
Ohio State self reported 4 instances of their own cheating from last season, contacting and bribing (“offering”) players from other teams during the seaosn. In addition, they’re under NCAA investigation for downloading and sharing opponents’ practice videos from the Catapult platform.
So clearly Buckeye fans don’t care all that much about cheating, as long as they’re getting some perceived benefit from it.
