- When attending Michigan football spring press conferences (and fall camp), you can discover the truth when it comes to multiple people making the same independent statements. Such is the case of commonly referenced players who seem to be standing out.
Aside from the Donovan Edwardses or Mason Grahams of the world, who are those who are perhaps on the fringe who have gotten multiple unabated shoutouts from the coaches and players through eight practices? We compiled a list and there are eight players who have managed to get multiple mentions. We discuss each and how they could contribute in 2024.
Then, former Michigan football offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Tim Drevno has been hired by Ohio State as an analyst. We discuss that move and what Buckeye fans get incredibly wrong.

Really hurts to lose Clemens, Walker, and Sabb in my opinion. All 3 would very likely see a lot of playing time this year, as long as they stepped it up.

We need receivers quite badly. We can obviously rely heavily on Loveland, ad he is practically a WR. So fast, amazing blocker.
Loveland, Semaj Morgan, Tyler Morris we know can play. Donovan Edwards maybe the best RB receiver in the country.
I think we'll run the ball 70% of the time anyway.
IDK, if it' a third and long and you've got Colston Loveland, Tyler Morris, Donovan Edwards, Semaj Morgan, and Frederick Moore OR Marlin Klein as your passing targets, I think you've got to feel pretty good about your chances of getting the ball to a guy that can haul it in.

It's college football buddy. Every team is going to play somebody that didn't play last year. That's just how it works and I still feel confident of Michigan's chances because I trust the process. They've got guys.@@jh1603
I'd like to see PEYTON O'LEARY get more game time and targets. He had an insane spring game last year and a touchdown in the Nebraska game. He just knows how to get open, has great hands and at 6'3" 200 he can block and beat shorter DBs.

OSU also hired a coach (Chip Kelly) that took an NFL job to get away from NCAA penalties after getting caught breaking rules at Oregon. Is Buckeye Nation ok with Harbaugh and the in-person scouting infractions now?
Quite a stretch to assume that was Harbaugh’s reason for leaving. He’s looked into it many time before all of this and it was pretty well know from the beginning that he still had NFL aspirations.
@@markmudget3794 I agree Harbaugh was always going back to the NFL no matter what. I only meant to point out that Chip Kelly is just as guilty of the very thing Buttguy Nation has been saying was "immoral and inexcusable" 6 months ago. Since it's their guy this time, they are totally good with it.

No such thing as Loyalty anymore with this transfer portal. Juwan gone is great for these players to stay for May, Juwan just can’t coach. I was excited for him, but he won his first 2 seasons with Belien players that John developed, Juwan can’t develop players. If the players would stay then they will win, but whatever.
Do you guys really think OSU would fire Day if he lost to Michigan again? What if OSU is already a lock for the B1G title game and UM has 3 losses? THE Game doesn't have the same ramifications moving forwards with the greatly expanded playoff unless they meet in the playoff.
osu has a new AD and their boosters have spent a ton of money on transfers and recruits this off season. Their fan base is happy because of that but if they lose to Michigan again it will be bad. I think they will. Go Blue!
They should have just lined up a UFC fight between Ryan Day and Lou Holtz PPV. That would have raised all the money they needed.

It is pretty funny how deluded Michigan fans are about the QB situation we're in. There is literally ZERO reason to think Orji or Tuttle are worth a damn. To rely on either of these guys performing up to the standard of a starting QB at Michigan is silly and would probably ruin our season. I mean, we're talking about a 7th year QB who wasn't good enough to start at Indiana, and a 3 star recruit who only completed half of his passes and has like no college playing experience.
Who cares. National Champs. 🤷
The coaches will look for one if needed. Alex has some talent.

The star ranking works both ways; Tuttle was a 4 star top 150 prospect and is not worth a damn , so that Orji being a 3 star doesn’t matter that was 3 years ago
@d2k266 The fact that higher rated guys don't always pan out does not disprove that 3 stars are statistically much less likely to be good players. Tuttle has already kind of invalidated himself-he wasn't even good enough to start at Indiana, and he's in his 7th year, having never started anywhere. Also, it's not just that Orji is a 3 star. He completed only 50% of his throws in highschool-that is dog 💩. There is literally 0 reason to believe his ability as a passer will meet the standard of a starting QB at Michigan.
Im thinking to myself i bet Jim probably asked his son to block drevno on his phone after hearing hes at ohio st lol . I liked drevno (oline coach)but as a play caller or oc or whatever the title was... He wasn't it. I think he will help Ohio st but it will be very minimal.
