Welcome! My name is Bethany Kramer, and I love cooking Italian-American classics and everything in between. Most of my recipes I learned by cooking with my mom and relatives over the years. Inspired by Sunday Dinners around the table, laughing and conversing over meals that were made from scratch with lots of love and care. Perfect Beef Tenderloin
Beef tenderloin can be intimidating because of its steep price, but this recipe and method will make sure you get a perfectly cooked medium-rare tenderloin every time! Served on the side is the most delicious creamy horseradish sauce made with the simplest of ingredients. This is one of the most elegant recipes you could make, and you'll be surprised how much it delivers in flavor and it's simple preparation!

3 pound beef tenderloin, trimmed of fat and tied
5 Tablespoons softened salted butter
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper

Nice. I like to cook the onion and garlic in a frying pan adding a little chilli flakes, then let them go cold before adding to the mix. I think the caramelised flavour adds.
Do yourself a favour..see those oranges behind you..? Throw in some orange zest. You won’t be sorry, especially with carrot. …I actually didn’t have any oranges BUT I did have some all natural Orange extract (I usually use in cakes and biscuits) I shrugged my shoulders and thought give it a try. Instead of a few drops I accidentally ended up with about a half teaspoon - OOPS! ONE OF THE BEST SAUCES I EVER MADE You can throw some cold water on that Dutch oven lid of yours. It helps with the condensation back into the sauce. You can only do it with your Dutch oven
So many amateur mistakes, not a chef but a hot mom sauce. Looks good thu just study your skills a bit more before making a video!

Why the bread / breadcrumbs are in meatballs is because Italy was a very poor country and originally you would find more of a breaded meatball , it was a way to stretch the meat to feed more people with little meat ....Having said that , as the meatball evolved , youre recipe ? WELL DONE !!!

@@Procharged32 this is a properly cooked tenderloin. The camera lighting can be deceiving and make it look more rare than it is. I personally don’t like it super pink but it was perfect :)

Using toxic foil not a good idea...try covering with parchment paper first then foil!! Better yet use a glass lid to cover meat. The tenderloin looks a tad too undercooked...to raw for my taste...Whole Foods for beef?? Nah!

Hi there I dont think ive ever tried this but im going to now.Does it hurt the flavor if you cook longer to cook medium well to well?I'm sure ya dont recommend for this cut to cook well to change the flavor.I will have to save this for a special someone in my future to impress her.I know id like the sauce but wont make it for myself.I 've made a london broil once in my life but it was a low grade cut(bad turnout.)You always have my interest.All your ideas are on the bucket list to share with someone i wanna spend my life with. Agree on the BelGioso ricotta. I used the flat, unriffled, thin noodles recently and the layers don't collapse. Less noddle, more fillings. I'm never using those thick ruffled noodles again.

Found your channel this morning, while searching for spinach dip recipe. Your recipe has the best ingredients, while appears to be simple to make. And now to find you making what we are planning to make for Christmas dinner is a bonus. I was actually dreading making tenderloin for the dinner. Im so glad I found your channel, you possibly saved are dinner because I was going to bake it a lot longer than supposed to. There has always been someone else to cook the meat, he to health issues I'm the person this year. For the two that want well done, I will grill theirs after I slice it. Thank you
That means so much to hear! Don't dread making the tenderloin! I used to feel that way until I roasted one myself and realized it's the easiest roast ever. You can do it! And yep if anyone needs them more well done, you can make that happen pretty easily :)
