Thank you so much, George! :) I genuinely appreciate the support, even for our production. We're doing the best we can with the little equipment we have. For that, we're grateful! Thanks so much for watching!
Bethany! Love that you suggested this for a side for some chicken!looks delicious with the flavor combos of sweet, sour and savory! Refreshing. Your smile is worth a million❤️
Gonna make it for tmrw's church potluck but gonna grill the corn on the cob using my gas stove burners. Salad looks absolutely delish. How could u go wrong w/fresh basil. Love, love, love!
I'm not much of a cook, but I'm trying to learn, even late in life. I made this for my wife and I last night and we both loved it. The taste was amazing. Love the videos and your easy to follow instructions! Thanks so much!
I'm thrilled to hear that, Tracy!! Love that you want to learn! Simple food that tastes delicious, is easier to make than you think. I hope my recipes can provide that for you!
Bethany, you are such a pleasure to watch and listen to. You have such a lovely serene demeanor, plus you’re very well spoken and use excellent grammar. Your recipes always sound delicious and look fabulous in their presentation. I plan to make this corn and tomato salad soon! Thank you so much for your wonderful videos!
This salad looks beautiful! Love the step by step preview of how the salad is made cause I woulda just thrown it all together 😅 love the side dish recipes
Beautiful salad. I did your Ricotta meatballs half in the oven half in the sauce. They were absolutely delicious and I’m an Italian girl, who could figure!!! Thank you ♥️
What always tastes great in salad is Greek Feta cheese. It will give your salad the Greek touch. You have the Canadian touch. You just have to add the Greek touch. I have to say the salad does look delicious. All your dishes look delicious.
Hey Barbara - If you are ever in a hurry and you just want to scramble some eggs for a quick lunch try adding Feta cheese to the scrambled eggs. You will love it. There is a very popular fast Greek dish where you just make fries and then throw the fries in with the scrambled eggs as the eggs are cooking. The Greeks simply call it fries with eggs. I love to eat it with lots of ketchup and pepper, but if you add Feta cheese to the eggs it makes that dish really nice. Put the cheese first in the buttered pan and once the cheese starts melting add the scrambled eggs.
@@Asimplepalate Speaking of Summer salads! How about a summer salad with smoked mozzarella, tomatoes, black pitted olives, an Italian ham, some of your great veggie combos and a nice vinaigrette? You could pair it with that great Gazpacho you're going to teach us how to make! :-)

Hi Bethany How spooky this clip was, we are having a family Barbeque this Saturday (no mother in law she is on holiday) When i was disguising what foods and sides to do, both my daughters shouted 'That American ladies Artichoke salad' This being you of course, im serious it really was a hit. Needless to say this new recipe came up tonight, to which anything with Avocado and sweet tomatoes in my wife loves. I showed her this and she just said yes yes yes, to which i don't argue with my wife as she is a large woman, in fact she is so big she was not born she was launched'. So both salads it is, by the way iv never thought of adding maple syrup before, what a great balancer. I will let you know how it goes down, Chris (In UK) 🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽
Had a full laugh out loud moment to this comment. I'm thrilled your family enjoyed the artichoke salad and just as delighted that this one came out in the nick of time :) Hope it's enjoyed and thanks for the laugh😂
@@Asimplepalate Hi Bethany Sorry about the late reply how your dish went down on our Saturday Barbeque, i offended the wife, and she gave me loads of jobs to do. 'I relabeled all the jars on her spice rack, I’m not in trouble yet but the thyme is cumin' Any way the Summer Corn Recipe went down so so well, my kids liked it as it had maple syrup in, and my daughters friend asked where i bought it, which is high praise indeed. The only problem i have now its everyone agreed that this recipe is as nice as the Artichoke one, so i can see me making both from now on. Chris (In UK)
When I seen the picture I was like this would go great with that chicken meatball parm recipe you did. I'm not a fan of corn on the cob either, I would get a can of sweet corn,😂. Could you tell me what brand your measuring spoons are. They are so cool looking!
Glad I’m not the only one with corn on the cob 😅 and yes! i love them they’re from crate and barrel www.crateandbarrel.com/acacia-wood-and-gold-measuring-spoons-set-of-4/s234769
Another way to cook corn on the cob.. White corn is in season its the best. 1 leave husk on ~ 2 cut each end flat for cob holders ~ 3 soak cob in water with husk still on 15 + till wet. ~ 4 microwave for 8 * minutes ~ I put 4 pcs in a microwave plate. 8 minutes done HOT be careful of water dripping off* . Put Cob holders on then take husk off Butter up little 'salt you can use white or yellow cob corn..

yes, you would totally do that too!! I don't have a microwave, so I can't do that way. But It's super easy! Thanks for sharing:)
Can also cook corn in microwave, no bowls water needed! Love thai method.
