Welcome to Improved Health Chair Workouts! This channel has been created for anyone who needs to work out from a seated position, or for those who want to become stronger by holding onto a chair during part of a workout. You will find both options here with Jules from 'Improved Health'.
Since we are all of different abilities, you'll find a variety of levels from gentle seated workouts (level 1), to beginner (level 2) and intermediate (level 3). Once you find which level suits you best, you can find similar workouts in the playlists and on www.improvedhealthforseniors.com.

I'm going to try some additional standing exercises. My balance is terrible. I have a severely collapsed left foot, pronated left leg, use K-Tape daily, orthotics and do not walk well.I had to use 2 chairs to do the exercises so I didn't fall flat!

I decided to do a shorter workout this morning and thought your new Christmas workout would be appropriate for the season. It was a good workout, BUT I MISS YOUR VOICE After doing 3 weeks of your beginner and senior chair workouts, I find your encouragement heartening. I know you can't see me, but when you say "excellent" or "two more!", I find it encouraging. I also miss your verbal instructions, the mantras "out, out, in, in." I am an auditory learner. I learn and do from what I hear. In fact, I say that I have to talk to myself so I know what I'm doing! Having done the previous 3 weeks, I knew what the exercises were and I liked the peppy music, but I will probably go back to sessions where you instruct. Happy Holidays!
OK, it's Christmas Eve, so I decided to do the Christmas workout again. I am amazed at how vigorous it is! Good workout. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I am just discovering these seated workouts and I loved this one. I like the no talking and visual preview as well as the changes in pace. My thighs, glutes and abs are feeling that workout from this morning.
I usually do the standing videos but have just developed some back issues to go with my knee problems!!! So have been doing these seated workouts and they are great. Would love to see more cardio seated videos and wonder if there is a way to gage this for a "step" count. Thanks for these videos. They really do get my heart rate up.
Hi Christine, I'm sorry to hear about your back issues, but I'm glad these seated ones are working for you. I am starting to put the step count down in the description under the video rather than in the video itself (I don't think I did for this one). But, I did for the newest Christmas one. I'll get some new seated cardio workouts up for you soon.
How many times a week do we do this. Please anyone answer
You can do this one every day if you wish. If you feel soreness in your abs the next day, you can take a day off from this one and other cardio or strength workouts instead.
