Thanks!, Had the hood off because the radiator was leaking bad so figured I'd bring it up town and have the guy knock the dents out of it and get the 2 layers of paint and decals off🤣 took him 2 years before he got to it but he did a perfect job. About time to start chopping, probably start raining now that it won't do much good 😆

​@@onehappyfarmer3461😆 720 gasser, usually my brother rakes so I thought I better get some footage climbing the hill😆, got a WD, R moline, 60 and 77 oliver, 720 and 620 deere rotation on the hay rakes. 77 must be getting tired because he said the 60 climbs the hill better than the 77😆

I don't but I plan on striptilling all my corn this spring if conditions are right, I will do a video on it if I remember. I ended up putting an electric motor on it instead of the ground drive like I originally planned. Gives me the option to shut it off or vary the rate that way.

I got a slow rpm 12v electric motor on it. Have had thoughts of getting a variable speed one so I can change rates but I've decided to just do a flat low rate.

I'm going to need new belts on this unit next year, I didn't have the guard fastened properly and it was rubbin last year and I started getting hit with chunks of belt, I'm sure that'll be an expensive one by the looks of it😆. Thanks fer watchin, can't go wrong with orange power

@@mrbill4187 I use to help them grind feed, they knew when they were feeding it to heavy, because the belts would start to screech, was pretty impressed I was only 12 at the time, the 7040 was huge, and she'd never back down

Dad had an old 95, I can't remember what broke but nothin to major but he started having the co-op grind corn. When I started doing everything I said the heck with that 15 dollar a ton charge🤣 Dads old 95 got scrapped so I picked this oner up for 600 bucks, little torchin and welding and it works good. Hope things are going good on Holst farm👍

That's just because bill bought all of them.

Most of them ya see have been severely abused, I bought this one probably 20 years ago on an estate sale. The guy that owned it retired from GM and bought it new, farmed till he was 80 and left it in the shed till he died at 90😆 had alot of bugs from sittin but its been a good tractor. I'm ashamed I don't keep it as clean as I used to, dang dairy cows take away a guys motivation🤣. Thanks for watching Jeff

That tractor never gets an easy job🤣, I was suprised how dry it was for as green as the stalk was. I think I got about 600 ton of 30 acres

Only milking 45 but its just me doing the chores and my uncle who was running the tractor takes my heifers. Be like a vacation for you Shane🤣🤣

@@mrbill4187 I just hate that sound. A good friend has a 5288 that did that and I fucking hated it, the cab was very loud too, He'd been much better off buy a 3294 Case like my Father and I did.

Just got done covering the stack now I gota milk, little late but it was nice and calm so I took advantage.
