looking good! on them old powershifts I always thought it would be fun to take that shift linkage apart and make a 2 stick out of it. a direction lever and speed lever. would be a nice loader setup!

Ya, i noticed Welker farms did that with there 4520 powershift. Probably save wear on the linkage quite a bit. Its a handy transmission in a loader tractor thats for sure.

@@mrbill4187 we've got a 3545 Massey, has an 8 speed with 2 speed power shift and a separate lever for forward, neutral and reverse..
It's been messed up by previous owner, but I love it!!!! Would make a nice loader tractor, but we use it for the V rakes, manure spreaders and a backup for the little baler... I'd love to find another one!!

We finished with some late planted stuff that wasnt even dented yet so it should seal the top pretty good. I always ran the chopper and let dad pack to, but nobody wants to help anymore so uncle george brings his equipment over and i just pay him to chop. Although he's gota do my one uncle thats still milkings cows yet and the chopper is getting pretty wore out so i might have to get mine going. Its been resting for three years.

My uncle sold his cows a few years ago and started doing it. He comes over with the chopper and loader tractor and I do whatever job he doesn't. I might have to get my chopper going though because he's working on my other uncles corn and having a lot of issues with the wore out corn head.
