      Looks like clutch is gone . You can put it in gear w/o clutch. And linkage is fully extended according to book . So we’ll see

      @@gleanerk That shouldn't be to bad to replace, be better to work on it ounce its home though. Seens like its easier to work on with the wheel off. Should be able to view the parts books online at agco, I will have to check. When I bought my F2 it was an hour from home and I was going to drive it, but it had sat quite awhile and the brakes were hanging up so I had it hauled.

    1:52 - beautiful field! Great tractor. I see you have several nice tractors on your channel. Keep up the good work! We found your channel from a comment you left on another page. We'd really appreciate if you'd give our channel a look if you aren't already following us and have a minute.

    We had a 200 for a lot of years!! Pretty good tractors, just don't use the main clutch for starting out!!

      Thats what dads big tractor was growing up. Pretty reliable fuel efficient tractor with the flaws being light duty front axle, lack of true live power and popping out of third gear with abuse. Lol These 220's are just cool old muscle tractor vintage like the 5020, lots of iron but nothing fancy. Uncle just got this one a couple days ago, another online auction and smart phone ordeal. Lol Thanks for watchin Ed.

      We never had trouble with the front axle, but the A frame cracked a few times..

      He had corn in it last year and left it this spring to haul shit on. As painfull as buying hay last winter was shoulda put some oats or triticale in it this spring but never got to it I guess.

      My uncle just got it a couple days ago, I think he regretted buying it until he got out there and ran it. Lol He was planting Dairyland magnum v I think it was and I got some croplan rebound the guy said was supposed to be good. I think he give a little over 200 a bag and the croplan was over 300 if I remember. A little pricey I thought but I can compare it I guess.

      @@mrbill4187 im looking at wl 375hvxrr pioneer 58vr08 and croplan tonnica. They are all pricey we have hard time growing alfalfa if it isn't RR our crabgrass pressure is unreal down here

      @@coreytrout3857 I was just looking at the croplan and dairyland seed guide after you asked me and they didn't even have magnum v or rebound on there. Must be older stuff they pushed on us. Lol I've never done it but I was going to try some generic select or clethodium on some grass in alfalfa. Not sure if its the way to go or go with roundup alfalfa. I did rr alfalfa last time and it was the nicest stand I've had in a while. Its been hard getting a good stand the last couple years with bitter cold snaps with no snow and then flooding in the spring and drought all summer. Lol

      @coreytrout3857 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mrbill4187 yeah it's a big investment and it's kind of hard to know what to I've used select before and it worked fine. The ability to spray seedling after three trifoliates is big for us we get late flushes of grass and weeds in the fall after we sow.

      @mrbill4187  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@coreytrout3857 Ok, I wasn't sure on the crop safety of it, thats good to know. I know when I did the roundup alfalfa it was 450 a bag I think for presteez croplan, that was in the spring and i did some in the fall and it dropped to 390. I cheaped out on the seeding rate and did 12# that year. Dad said grandpa used to seed 8 so I figured 12 would'nt be terrible. About a third of the bag now is treatment i guess though.

    Why did those Allis tractors run so high of rpms? Always made wonder why you need 2500 rpms lol

    • @mrbill4187
      @mrbill4187  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You might be thinking international, the only allis rated that high was the 7080 and the 4 wheel drive articulaters. 220 is 2200 rpm rated speed though they will all rev up to 2500 if ya get in a tight spot.
