@@coreytrout3857 The first cut all got rained on and the second and third were thin from no rain. I think the main problem is everybody's been scraping the bottom of the barrel the last couple years in the late winter because of drought the last couple years and there hasn't been any carryover.
Yup 24%. The lady at the elevator said a guy brought in a load 32% Lol. We coulda got them at twenty percent a couple weeks ago but just assumed they wouldn't take them. I had the concave clearance set for small grain and the cylinder running twice as fast as the book said. It was leaving a few beans in the pods but not to bad. It didn't damage them any but the sample sure was dirty. That truck is my uncle's old peterbilt, I think it's a late seventies or early eighties. He's got a friend that buys trucks out in California that don't meet there emission standards and he brings them back four or five at a time and puts grain body's on them. My other uncle got a nice international and a T800 kenworth from him. I have been to poor to buy anything from him. Lol I'll have to do a video on mine if I get to working on it this winter.
I kept closing the concave and speeding the cylinder up until it was pretty much set for small grains. Lol It was a dirty sample but I'm glad there off even with the dock. A lot beans still in the field yet they may be able to get this week but they were buried in snow a couple weeks back.
There's a fellow down the road from me of below average intelligence that I could donate the herd to and help out a bit beings these beans went so profitable.
