Sharing some of the major attachments on my M16A4 clone! Bit of a shorter video this time around... lots going on behind the scenes. The M16A4 is such an iconic rifle, and is one of my personal favorites. Mine is a Bravo Company MFG clone. The Knight's Armament M5 RAS Picatinny rail, Trijicon TA31 ACOG... all of it make such an awesome rifle to shoot. This rifle is an "inspired" clone, meaning ...

The Knight's Armament M5 RAS is pretty hard to come across these days, so hopefully this video gives you a few more options to consider if you're trying to clone the M16A4 and/or M4A1. Unfortunately I couldn't find any in stock, but this should give you a few more buying options. The M16A4 is such an iconic rifle, and is one of my personal favorites. Why you should own the TRIJICON ACOG

The Trijicon TA31 ACOG is well known for its durability, large field of view, and exceptional optical clarity. It's commonly associated with the M16A4 rifle as well. Here are some pro and cons of this famous fixed 4x optic, which sits on top of my M16A4 clone. My M16A4 has performed well after 5,000 rounds of both brass and steel cased 5.56mm NATO. This rifle is an "inspired" clone, meaning doe...

MOSIN NAGANT M91/30 - the First Rifle I Ever Purchased
มุมมอง 6374 หลายเดือนก่อน
I went back to the Pacific Northwest for a mid-year holiday, and went shooting up in the mountains. I got to shoot my Mosin Nagant M91/30, which was the first gun I ever bought. The receiver shows that this was made in 1944, although I don't know if the stock is original. Either way, it was a blast to get into nature and shoot this bolt-action rifle again!

You can argue that any old toothbrush can and will brush your teeth just fine. Same will go with just about your average firearm. It is choosing the right firearm for the job. Glocks out of the box check nearly all the right boxes... mag capacity, accuracy, durability, ease of use, availability of parts. You wouldn't take an accord rock climbing, right? An A4 can do damn near everything just fine in an average trained person's hand. If I wanted ultra precision, I'd bring a bolt gun. Elitists thumb their nose at 20 inches of beauty. I bet a lot of us have blinged out URG-I's with peq's, surefires and so on. But which rifle do we hold with the utmost reverence? Our M16A2's and A4's baby! After all, stacked rifles looked so good with the 20" m16's. Hahaaa
If you get scope bopped from something on a 5.56mm you might as well stop shooting at all. If it happens at this caliber, just stop.
Awesome rifle if it was chambered in 6.5 grendel.
What part of the country is this 😊
556 recoil isn’t an issue at any barrel length
Romeo 7 all day 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
It never ceases to amaze me how many people opt for shorter rifle barrels to save weight and then throw every imaginable accessory on them. I mean I did the same thing but I never complained about the weight and chose every thing I attached for a specific purpose, and not just because I saw one a video game. I never had an M4 in the military just the good ol M16A2 with 3 round burst, and the old round plastic heat shields. It was a good rifle but would have been better with an optic a light and laser but 11C's attached to an armor battalion were low on the priority list. However, it was the first rifle I ever fired, and holds a special place in my heart. It was my rifle. There were many like it but that one was mine.
That's every scope mister, we'll, almost every scope
Most of the world went around in conflict using guns significantly heavier. People need to quit bitching.
I love the 20” barrel but for steel target shooting it’s too damaging. I stick to 16” barrels to cut down on target damage.
worst md ever made
Back when my dad was in the national guard he deployed to Qatar in 2011 and carried an m16a4 and an m9 beretta. For some reason he was issued 20 round magazines for it instead of 30.
Good presentation, good shooting, well produced video, but your eye movements are a little crazy.
You don't have to place your head far forward... just move the Acoc further to the rear.
Trijicon - Buy Once, Cry Once. Have this one on my FN M16A4.
Great optic dude no complaints, little pricey but a great way to go
But it behind your iron sight 🤦🏻♂️
How did you end up getting one without the BDC reticle? That defeats the purpose of the acog. 😂
ACOG is super expensive 😭
I learned on the A2 at Parris Island . The M16 will always be one of my favorites
I want to make a dedicated m16a2 build with the fixed carry handle upper. I could just swap out the rail/carry handle on the clone to make it look similar, but it’s just not the same….
I got so used to using them in the Marines that it’s just my preference now . I prefer them over a holographic any day . Except for home defense . I’ll take a red dot
What railing system is he using with the CCO optic?
Are you saying about the ACOG mount? It’s the standard Trijicon one that ships with it!
no the foregrip barrel cover at 0:12
The Tisas Raiders frame won’t crack, paint won’t scratch off, and is way tighter fitted than colt. Only 350-500 bucks vs the colt.
You're firing over gassed
I love the ACOG. It’s my favorite AR specific optic. I do prefer variable scopes on hunting rifles but on a rifle I’m probably not using at 1000 yards the fixed magnification is worth it
Acog is the best optic
He doesn't mention that you can run it further back, or on a rifle with an adjustable stock, which helps with the 1.5" eye relief
Shaffer (there might be a better manufacturer, I just saw it for the first time earlier today) makes a clip-on adjuster so you don't have to worry about the tape and stickyness, it has a ratcheting-sliding cover so you can select your desired brightness and have it be easy to go back and forth without the possibility of needing to re-tape
Close range aimpoint comp M4. Mid range trijicon
Doesn't the T11 take a battery
Debating on changing foregrip to KA or leaving Colt A4 stock...one of the last Colts manufactured before the sale so digging that fact
War comp is known to be great un suppressed, a lot of negative reviews with heavy gas leak shooting suppressed
For $11,000 I’d hope so
I asked my PMI at Parris Island what to do about the acog hitting me in the eye every time I shot. He said "move your whore face back a little then".😂
Carried one from 2001 to 2007 in the sandbox. Love it never failed me it was very easy to use. I still use the same one on my main carbine.
Phase 5 ebr and jp scs
What 10 round maga are those?
Wilson Combat!
Thanks, I didn't know how to retract a comment lol I watched a little longer and seen what kind they are. Have you ever ran chip Mccormick 10 rounders?
Thanks for the info, I just bought a Colt AR-15A4 and had plans already beforehand to build this setup. I had no idea the situation of this rail thought prior 😭😂 hopefully some will pop up on any of these sites in the future.
Man, I’m in the same bucket as you now lol. Working on an M4A1 build and it’s been tough… Gunbroker has some but they’re pricier!
@jamesshoots I'm using the Midwest industries rail as a placeholder in the meantime. Honestly it holds up and looks pretty good with P&S covers but it's still not the KAC at the end of the day 😆
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
GWOT legend
What holster are you running?
100mph tape is the best
Black rails?
Where did you get that uid sticker?
That is crazy trijicon doesn't have that already
That scope is the scope for the m24 in bf2042.
I have the green gas replica I use for dry firing (I cannot own a firearm yet lol), it is a very very neat gun.
I've got a Palmetto M16 with FN CHF barrel that shoots 77 grain OTM's at 1.5-2" five shot groups at 100yds. I have a video on my channel, of me going 8/10 with a random string of fire in the mountains of Utah. Distance is 735 or 750 yds using an 8x Burris LPVO. Did it just to show that you can do great work at distance, even with a 2 MOA rifle. The 20" length with rifle length gas is a pleasure to shoot. I think every American male should own one. Just my Honest Opinion.
Def Eotech, Aimpont if you want just a red dot.
The government making the decision on barrel profile, explains everything you need to understand about the government. It’s all ass backwards.
