Nah, I wouldn’t say so. Is it as soft as a pillow? Lol nope, but it makes the rail grippier. Kinda like knurling on a barbell!
This rifle is going to be next on my list to build! Im gonna run a ACOG with a RMR on top though for my optic when I do it. Finishing up a Recce AR10 build right now.
