Agree with a lot of the comments. I like this channel because this is what the average serious gun owner is: a hobbyist. This is like a vlog style and you're sharing with others about your hobby. You made several videos on your M16A4 which shows me you appreciate it a lot whereas some gun tubers go through guns like dirty socks (maybe they get them for free for making videos) or they have a lot of money and just buy dozens of guns cause they're never satisfied with having a few and have to get a new one often to scratch the itch. Too many gun tubers also go for the garand thumb-esque larping and tacticoolness- pumping content for content's sake. Anyways, just want to say I enjoy your videos and your appreciation for quality. I still think you need to get a Geissele URG-i cause I know you'll love it.
Hey thanks so much! That means a lot, and that’s exactly the vibe I’m going for haha. I appreciate it. The URG-I would be sooo sick… I’m working on a non-AR build which I will share soon!
You should flip the thumb screws from left side to right side on your carry handle. One, because that’s how we do it in the Marines, and it also keeps the knobs away from the part of the charging handle you need to actuate to rack the bolt. It also helps keep it from snagging on your gear when the rifle is slung.
I enjoy your videos. Love the M16A4 content! About 23 years ago, I was at the range shooting my first AR15 and a guy came up to me and suggested I try "nose to charging handle". I guess he noticed my groups were... lose. Having practiced "nose to charging handle" for the last 23 years, I can tell you there's been a drastic improvement. I believe there are a few reasons, but the primary being the fact that your eye is closer to the aperture, creating a wider field of view (think ACOG TA31). Thank you for being into firearms and being artistic and willing to create enjoyable content!
Always great to see another video from you! It's a great change of pace from the other 'high-speed' guntubers out there. I found that self-reflecting on your day shooting really helps improve your shots. I've definitely gotten better at my own shooting, not just with my M16, but with other guns as well. It's a great way to really understand how your day went. But it's also fun to just mag-dump with friends too lol.
I love the LA influencer vibe all your videos have - only instead of getting boba tea you're grouping shots at 120 yards with an M16A4. As it should be.
I put a small easter egg towards the end of the video. It’s subtle but when you see it, it’ll be very obvious. Can you find it? 👀 I’ll pin the first comment to mention it!
Good stuff man. It’s amazing the time we live in, irons are almost obsolete. I still run all my pistols with irons and think it’s kinda funny, not being judgmental but kinda funny, when guys brag about their long range/accurate pistol shooting when they’re using red dots. Sighting systems are so advanced now that even cheap ones are working great, you can get a pretty decent red dot for about $100, we still need to learn irons. It’s a good skill to have.
This is a very nice contrast to military style shooting, where it may be hot, but you don't pay for the ammo, so dumping shots downrange isn't something you're thinking about.
much better than alot of the hipsters making gun videos now, good to see someone who isn't an idiot trying to push expensive and useless products and accessories.
You need to add a spotting scope, learn to call each shot and then verify with the scope where each shot landed. Shooting a bunch of rounds and not knowing the process of what caused each round to impact where it did, isn't useful practice for improvement. Building consistency is the key to becoming a rifleman. Also, get a military/shooting sling and learn how to use it will definitely improve you shooting from prone, kneeling and sitting positions.
Not just good information of a Citizen Rifleman recording his observations as he learns, but lots of imagination too in visual presentation to make things interesting
@1:52 it looks like you're using the 0-200 aperture? If you want the tightest groups with irons, I'd recommend using the small aperture. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be annoying, just trying to help.
No you’re good man, I want people to give me tips! Thanks sharing. I was using that 0-200 aperture the entire time. Gonna try use the smaller one next time!
Hello there! Some US states require you to have a license before purchasing whereas others don’t. However, all require you to undergo a background check and for you to meet certain criteria; otherwise, you’ll be denied the purchase. If we’re being super specific , the “actual” M16A4 is an Assault Rifle which is significantly harder for an everyday, ordinary person like me to obtain. What I have in this video is an AR-15 which looks and functions very similarly to an M16A4, but there are still some meaningful design differences, so the two are not actually the same. While I’m not familiar with the specific details, my understanding is that the set of requirements to own a real M16A4 are so much higher to the point where usually only businesses that buy/sell firearms are able to get them. This means they need multiple licenses to prove they actually operate as a business, are compliant, etc.
Usually people bring more! At least when I see others as I search for an open bay. I tend to bring only one rifle and pistol nowadays though. I feel like I don’t get much practice with any of them if I bring a bunch, even if many of the skills are transferable
I don't know why TH-cam keeps recommending me more AR only channels, good videos but I just run AK's which has ironically become a rich man's game unfortunately with parts kits drying up, I guess it's time to get an AR (unfortunately) although I have been enjoying your videos. That being said, when are you going to get a Beryl or Vepr or something? Come on man expand your horizons! Just don't be a chump and review psa or zastava junk.
Hello!
Hahah, you found the Easter Egg!!

Loving all the extra cinematic shots!
This is becoming one of my favorite gun channels of all time :)
My man, thank you!!
nice chill video for a saturday morning coffee!
Thank you!! Drinking my second Nespresso now lmao
Keep up with the M16A4 content. I certainly love it.
Thank you!!

Thanks for the comment! I’ll try that next time. Gonna use the smaller aperture as well and see how things go! Appreciate it, brother!

Thanks man! And yeah totally agree. Sometimes you just can’t beat a good mag dump, especially on steel 😂 Did that with my 1911 the other day!

Such a nice lofi vibe to the video, i absolutely love this channel.
Thanks brotha, that means a lot!!

Nice choice of soundtrack. It has an indie vibe to it. Weird combination though of guns and indie pop but it works.
Haha thanks, not a combo I had considered before but it seems to work

Haha thank you my man!
Have you considered getting a PEQ 2A or 15?
1 magazine and the cleanest trunk of a car I’ve ever seen……..I’m calling BS

you can do that with a regular scope or binnocs. or a dedicated rangefinder
Check out LaRue’s ACOG mount!
can you review the sling? my service rifle is A1 and still have no idea about sling.

Damn dude, you could have just joined the Marine Corps between 2007 - 2011.

greetings from Australia. If I want to acquire a gun like m16a4 in the US do I need a gun license as well?

Did I see a wheel gun on the table at some point?
people only bring one rifle to the range?

@@jamesshoots yeah its a good idea actually im going to try it in the future. it allows you to focus on one rifle.
Bruce Wayne.
