    Why not cut a hole in your garage door? You can put a flapper on the outside to keep animals from coming in when you aren't using the AC.😊

    As a more so hobby wood worker my self but getting into bigger projects slowly I will never in my life support or by dewalt or Milwaukee products or any other over priced big brands. Unless these tools cure cancer or give me lucky lotto numbers they can keep there asses on the shelf which every time I go to home depot I see then fully and overstocked collecting dust. Oh look a drill for $150 awesome wait the battery is $200? I just spent $350 for a fucking drill? $200 for a orbital sander?? Fuck out of here I'll buy affordable tools and when they die 2-5 years I can replace then with ease not feeling like I just tried to put my dumb kid through college and wasted my money

    Just curious…. Did you have to purchase any additional software or ad boosters for your Etsy shop to help boost your sales? Or did you just go through the normal process to open your shop and add items to it? I know there are so many ad boosters and “systems” that help some sellers get more action than others. Thanks in advance! ☺️

    I started with buying a brushless Milwaukee drill and driver, but then discovered everything that took the same battery cost more than other brands. I eventually bought a Ryobi ONE+ brushless hammer drill. I didn't install the handle and I just use it as a conventional drill. I like it better than my brushless Milwaukee drill. It came with a 2 Ah battery, a charger, and a free 2 Ah battery. Home Depot was running a special that if you purchased a Ryobi ONE+ tool, you got a free battery. I then picked up a Ryobi ONE+ edger. It too came with a 4.0 Ah battery and charger. Once you have at least two chargers and a few batteries, you're good to go. I've since bought a Ryobi tire inflator and a hot glue gun. Both have been great to have. Milwaukee doesn't even sell tools like that.

    Hey, big boy with the sawdust in his man boobs. LOLI did something very similar, and after I built it, I also realized it was leaking from the top. Sometimes we just don't use common sense because we're so focused on that building something doing the man thing and solving a problem, and making it look nice and Fitted, and never realizing what simple common sense would tell you if you stood back for a second, the door rolls in and pulls away from the wall, about eight inches l o l no help to the a.C..

    Props to the person that sent you that air conditioner, however, a a decent sized mini split is going to work a lot better. I live in Phoenix, az, so I know about the temps you’re dealing with. I insulated my garage, and haven’t even finished fully insulating my garage door with a DIY kit, and my 18 K mini split does really well. It can cool my garage from the hundred and teens down to the high 80s in about an hour. My garage door is west facing, so the evening sun is brutal and it can have a hard time keeping up with that heat, but it looks like with your set up, a mini split will have you in the 70° all day long.

    Maybe cut a hole in the garage door and attach the AC duct adapter to the door. You can fabricate a color matched duct cover for the door when not in use and get rid of the huge duct hose running through your home. That LONG length of duct hose is straining the AC exhaust motor because it has to push a much greater amount of air.

    Just install a dryer vent. This should save you from having such a long trip hazard. You also want some good ventilation to ensure that you don't accidently make an explosive atmosphere during the hot days where you're keeping the doors closed. Yes. Sawdust in the air can create an explosion hazard.

  • @jonesgang
    @jonesgang 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

    You had the right idea but fell a little short. But instead of trying to vent it out via roll up door, make a permanent vent like you would for a cloths dryer. The added benefit from doing it that way is dryer exhausts vents have louvers that close preventing things like hot air or little critters from getting inside.

    Just curious, are you sucking a vacuum inside your shop or is the air that you are sucking out being replaced with hot outside air sneaking into the garage thru every tiny opening? A mini-split sure sounds like the ideal solution and it will runon the more efficient 240 volt circuit.

    • @jascogoods

      I never thought of it but after reading a lot of peoples great comments I want to sell this unit and get a mini split unit. A lot of people pointed out that this unit blows air out of your house but sucks the hot air from outside your house back in through gaps and leaks around your house so it is really inefficient. Thank you for your input.

I enjoy making the videos almost as much as making things from wood. Thank you again for the awesome comment. Let me know how the journey goes.

    I think your video and project ideas are awesome. I just want to know if you already had a large following of people beforehand, or had to do anything like search engine optimization to generate sales? Or was it as simple as listing the product on Etsy and the sales just came organically from there? I’m not being facetious or anything, I’m just new to all of this.

    • @jascogoods
      @jascogoods วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you I appreciate your question. I don't think you are being facetious at all. I did not have a following. When I first started I wasn't making many sales. I had to learn how to make the best listing from watching videos on TH-cam. I had to take better pictures, make better tittles and use better keywords. It wasn't hard but it did take some learning and trial and error. another thing that people don't want to hear or do is that using etsy ads really boost sales until you get some reviews behind you and build up a reputation. I did a few dollars a day at first and as I got more sales I went up to $5 dollars a day in ads. I hope that helps.

    You have to remember that any air that goes outside from the AC unit removes air from inside the house,. And it lowers the pressure inside the house and the air that that is removed from the house has to be replaced and it will come in through any leeks in the house and with it will come hot air and humidity. Install a mini-split I have a Pioneer in my shop and I love it I use it to heat and to cool.
