True black and dark walnut are my fovorites!
me too!! thank you.
They’re all pretty but I love the Weathered Gray!
Thank you, I like mixing the different shades of gray
Just loving, that no machine noises. Thanks.
no problem, thanks for the comment, its appreciated!
It's the saw sounds for me 😂❤❤
Hhahaha some people complain about it and some people love it! I figured it was more interesting than the actual sound!!
I like the brown
me too
Amazing how you drill 5/8" holes with a forstner bit and the dowels fit right in. No matter what size holes I drill with a forstner bit, dowels always, ALWAYS need to be sanded like mad to even get em to fit. Drives me mad
lol i had already sanded the dowels a little before.
Good vid and tutorial. Hi-ya 😂 Keep Shining ✨💎 You mentioned not being able to afford background music. If you were being serious there's public domain music you can use free out there and if you're only needing short snippets there are options in fair use.
I dislike background music..like your original sounds, not making us hear loud machinery
Thanks for the comment and the info. I’m half joking about the music. I did know there was some you could use for free but I wasn’t sure where to get it.
You're good either way. Do what makes you happy. It's your masterpiece 🤘🏼
Enjoyed your sense of humor. Appreciate the attention to detail and tips for assembling this project.
Thank you, I appreciate the comment.
Pfffttttt. 😎👍
lol Thanks!!
Awesome simple build 👍 was looking for something exactly like this for a birthday gift I can whip up in a weekend and this really nails it for me.
Thanks brother, I'm glad my video was helpful. If you build it I'd love to see how it turns out.
I would use Titebond 2 for this projects as it is cheaper and you do not need the added water protection for an indoor project like this. Not really a big deal but helps keep overall cost of creation low.
thanks brother, good to know.
What is the name of “this little thing I got”? lol I hate finding the center for rip cuts lol
lol it’s called a center scriber. I got it on Amazon. Here’s a link amzn.to/42ahjD6
I'd be happy with only one screw this Valentine's Day. If I can get around to this, I am sure my special lady would love one of these! Thank you for the idea.
Hahaha I get what you did there!! Hahaha thanks for the comment, it made me laugh!!
Does anyone know why the thumbs up isn't available????
Works fine..501 now 502..
It does that to me some times too
I just got a saw within the last couple of weeks, but I haven’t used it yet because I’ve been sick. If it doesn’t sound like a whining cat, I’m taking it back to Home Depot. 😂😂😂😂 Seriously though, I’m very new to woodworking, and I appreciate your stress-free method of teaching. There is a new house being built down the road from me, and I’m going to hit them up for some of the scraps that they’re throwing away so I can build some small things for practice.
😂😂😂 I hope your saw screams like a cat too!!! thanks for the support! I did the same thing when i moved into my house. I got a foam board to use for cutting on too. Plus they always left tons of screws all over so i filled some old peanut butter jars with screws!! 😂😂😂
@@jascogoods one of my friends used to do cleanup on new home construction and remodel sites. He probably could have built a house with all of the materials that were left laying around for him to put in the dumpster or haul to the dump. He did save as much of the lumber that he could properly store at his house. The brick layers were always hands down the most wasteful and the messiest. Just on one job he loaded close to 14 tons of brick scraps into the dumpster! The dumpster rental guy was not happy when he came to get that and had to bring another dumpster to the job site. 😂
Vledig bra, nett so i bydn
Takk skal du ha
Can you provide details on the Behr urethane you used?
Sorry it took me so long to respond. I didn’t have the exact info when I first saw your comment and then I forgot cause i’m like that. It’s Behr water based spar urethane in satin finish
@jascogoods thanks, I found it at Home Depot. Also thanks for the video, I built 4 for my girls for Valentines day.
@@05excursionltd that’s awesome!! I’m glad you liked them.
Nice video and entertaining while learning something.
Thanks Brother!! I appreciate your comment!
I really enjoyed your very cool project and your exceptional Craftsmanship! Do you have plans available?
Your sense of humor and delivery were spot on!
Well done, Sir!
Thank you so much for all the support and kind words. I'm not sure how to draw up and share plans but I'm looking into it. Hopefully I have something up soon.
Freaking genius. I was thinking about doing a jewelry box for my gf, but this would be way better.
Thanks, my wife showed me these. She likes them better than jewelry boxes. Let me know how it turns out.
Thx for the vid, hadn't seen this holder yet. Good idea. Subscribed
Happy Valentines Day
Thank you, I appreciate the support.
Where did you find 2x2s with sharp corners???
Its from home depot. its in the select pine section. But sometimes they have them in the regular pine too if you can find some that aren't garbage.
Great gift idea. I like the dark walnut but want to make one of each for others.
Thank you, wish there was a way for everyone to share their pictures on here.
On a woodworking channel, the woodworking is the music
hahaha YESSS
Great video . Liked Dark walnut the best . Thanks
Thanks brother, the dark walnut is my favorite also. But the stain itself is hard to work with.
Good job and project thx for sharing Keep building God Bless
Thanks brother, I appreciate the comment
buzzzzzzz hahahahahah! subscribed and liked
lol thank you, I appreciate the support!!
Did you use pine for this build?
Yes I used select pine from Home Depot. It’s more money than regular pine. You can use regular pine, I normally do I just didn’t have a 2x2 in regular pine.
🎵 I’m a wood worker, working the wood! 🎵
Hahaha
I wrote it myself 😂
quit listening at 1:44 tired of the "cut" noises
lol yea they’re not for everyone
You left too soon.he changed it up..
I did fast scroll to the end..
