Now this is exactly what I am looking for. How to make money with woodworking without using special power tools such as table and meter saws. Well done!
When I was doing photography... those backdrops are expensive!!!! I approve this message. Pro tip... a queen size sheet's hem fits perfectly on a 10' backdrop bar. and storing them crumpled up in a bag avoids unsightly fold lines.
Great video!!! so if you made these & try to sell on Etsy & other platforms, isn't the shipping & packaging going to be as much as the items themselves?
I am sure its expensive to ship especially depending on where you live. The ones I saw on etsy didn't offer free shipping so whoever bought one would pay the shipping. The one that did offer free shipping obviously put it into the cost of the backdrop and that's why they were charging $900+ I would try local first and start on Facebook marketplace. Thank you for the question, it was a good one.
I completely understand your skepticism. I used to think that for years until I started selling my simple creations and even now I'm still amazed sometimes. As someone who can make these things for myself I always thought who would pay someone to make something so easy but I realized there are a lot of people who cant make this stuff. If someone will pay Starbucks to make them a $5 cup of coffee then anything is possible. 😂😂
I agree, I would use better plywood next time. My friend provided the plywood and she painted it. I basically just cut it out and built the stand and then just charged her for my time. Do you use mdf too or is that too heavy?
😂 I gotta keep it pg so people can watch around their kids! I think its funny imagining people thinking the word was about to come out and reaching for the volume and then the video ends! 😂
this is the first one I have ever made so I have only sold this one. But I would just post on facebook marketplace to start and then through word of mouth on social media!!
Just cause they are selling them for $300+ doesnt mean a lot of people are buying them either though right? Or was there a way to see if they are selling alot?
I have an app that gives sales numbers but also I have a friend that does the balloon parties and they use rent these props for almost as much as they are selling for so the people that do these parties are willing to pay for these because they make the money back after a few rentals. from what I saw on Facebook marketplace and on line is that these things are selling right now. but I can only say from my opinion, I don't know for sure. I think its worth it to spend a few hours making one and listing it and see if you get a sale locally. worst case you have to lower the price but I think you could double your money at the very least.
I notice the ones people mail are made to break down smaller. so the moon would be two halves with a hinge in the middle. I still think the best bet would be to sell them locally.
Yea I'm not sure, I've never mailed anything that large. I know there are slow mailing options that help save money and if you mail through some online retailers like etsy or ebay you can get a discount that way. I would try to sell them locally. there are a ton of balloon businesses where I live.
I just taught my oldest son about rough dimensions, and finished dimensions. We watched this together. He looked right at me, and I said mmmmhmmm see, I tole ya lol. Great informative, and well edited video💪🏽. Also great product too. Definitely going to be an avid watcher 💪🏽💪🏽🇺🇸
Thank you brother I really appreciate the encouragement. I am glad the video was helpful and you were able to get an "I tole ya" on your son! 😂 It gets harder to get those as they get older.
Leaning a little heavy on The Office, huh? Maybe you don’t need to? You’re funny on your own. No need to prove you are funnier than that show. You are. Steve Carrell (is that the guy’s name?) has just the one note.
Thank you so much for the encouragement!! I can't wait to tell my family someone said I'm funnier than the office! That is their favorite show and they don't think I'm that funny!😂😂😂 I guess if you had to live with me you might think differently. 😂
It was kinda shaped like a turd but I assure you, it was a moon. If you think that's crazy, look up the painting of the line that sold for $43 million.
Sooooo, he works for himself, so he has no HR to get reported to, and I doubt his wife is going to complain about "sexual harassment," so take your made-up feminazi bullshit drama elsewhere. You personally are why we can't have nice things, ever.
Absolutely amazing. You have some incredible ideas. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤

Thank you for the comment and the tips!! I didn't know how much they cost till just when i was building this one. they are expensive.
Fantastic and simple. I appreciate your videos, and the millennial comment was awesome. I laughed out loud.
Thank you for the encouragement, it is appreciated. I always tease the millennials and gen z's in my life!! 😂😂
Giant toenail! Roflmbo!!! I love how you finished the video!
😂😂😂 thanks brother, I appreciate your comments!!
I appreciate your video. I wish I had Skills like yours.
Thank you I appreciate that. If you practiced you could do all the things I'm doing and then you wouldn't be so impressed 😂😂
@@jascogoods Yes, that's right. At home I also often make wood products, but just basic things, completely uncomplicated
Thanks for the idea. Great Video.

Yea that's the way I like em!! 😂 Thanks
Woooo! Those are so expensive! I can’t believe my eyes! You did an awesome job, here! 😊
I was shocked too!! I thought I was wrong at first and every page I found was just as high or higher. Thank you, I appreciate you.

If he was making any money off of this crap he wouldn't be on TH-cam.
I'm not the one who hurt you buy I am here to talk through the trauma with you. 😂😂😂
They typically include the shipping cost with the actual product. This might be the reason why they are so expensive.
Thanks interesting idea.
Thank you. I appreciate the comment!
I have a hard time believing lots of people are buying these, but I mean, evidently they are.. good work

Thank you!! I appreciate your comment.
Great video
Agreed!! Great Video Sir 🫡
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it and I appreciate the comment.!
thanks brother.
How would you find the right people to market these to? Asking for a friend, lol. That’s easy peasy! Huge profit!
Thank you for the question, or thank your friend. 😜 I would start by posting them on my own social media and also Facebook marketplace.
hey this is House Scrapper great video Jasco
thanks brother, I appreciate you!!!
Thought you were building your friend an outhouse at first...a really big outhouse!!!😂😂😂
That's a crappy business to get into!! 😂😂😂 Sorry for the dad joke!!
What jigsaw blade did you use?
it was just a regular wood blade. Diablo brand from home depot.
Yes they do sell for that much but me personally I don't use the cheapest plywood.
I agree, I would use better plywood next time. My friend provided the plywood and she painted it. I basically just cut it out and built the stand and then just charged her for my time. Do you use mdf too or is that too heavy?
I'm gonna to be a balloon blowing mutha.... ad cuts in at the last moment 😂
😂 I gotta keep it pg so people can watch around their kids! I think its funny imagining people thinking the word was about to come out and reaching for the volume and then the video ends! 😂
@jascogoods That's definitely funny 😁 😂
Sooo... Do you sell these or rent them out? And if you rent them, how do you get the word out?
this is the first one I have ever made so I have only sold this one. But I would just post on facebook marketplace to start and then through word of mouth on social media!!

It’s a giant toe nail lol😂
How the heck would you package something that big?😱
I notice the ones people mail are made to break down smaller. so the moon would be two halves with a hinge in the middle. I still think the best bet would be to sell them locally.
I get asked this a lot.
Lol at the comment about all the diplomas.
😂😂😂 I only have a ged so that was a little jealousy coming out! 😂
Goooooooly Im in the wrong business.
right!! 😂😂😂 The things you can do to make a buck is so different now a days.

Shipping will cost alot for something that big. 😮

Thank you for your reply.
A sheet of plywood is $250 so you'd be better off working at McDonald's.
wow where are you getting your plywood from because I have more to sell you. 😂😂😂 I got this 1/2 inch sheet of plywood for less than $30.

You should make a wood sign with this comment and hang it in the shop so if they ever forget….you can remind them it was said!
Balloon blowing mother- what? Mother WHAT???!!! The video cut off before you finished! 🤣🤣🤣 Great rental idea! I had never heard of these! 👍🌟🤘
MOTHER FATHER!! 😂😂😂 I had seen them before but never looked into pricing or anything until recently. I was shocked!
Yep, interesting. you will be able to give up your day job.
That is the goal!! Thank you for the comment.
Hi, in which universe does someone pay $350 for that horseshit?
Thanks.
They don't. There's no evidence these are selling like hot cakes. People on Etsy make to order.
It was kinda shaped like a turd but I assure you, it was a moon. If you think that's crazy, look up the painting of the line that sold for $43 million.
no evidence 😂😂😂 what's your evidence for hotcake sales??
Never underestimate the power that a spoiled brat has over their parents spending.

😂😂😂 Its convenient because she's HR, the helper and the boss!!!
😂😂😂 I think he was being sarcastic but thanks for having my back!!
🤔 His Assistant seems to think her husband was her cutie. Doubtful he has to be concerned about HR.
@@jascogoods I was joking, absolutely, the same as the commentary in each video. Maybe I should watch and not comment any longer.
Turn 1 Sheet of Plywood into $350, but when we are paying $100 for the plywood your not making any profits
So u spent $100 & made $350 but not making profit?
😂😂😂 i was thinking that too. How many company's make more than %200 profit.
I only used 1/2 inch plywood and it was less than $30. They have 3/4 inch plywood for less than $50. That's a pretty good profit for a few hours work.
Where the heck are you SHOPPING for Plywood?
Awwww bless your no math skills having heart lol
