Yeah, my buddy his strategy is to shoot first and not miss - so naturally he dies every time he gets 2v1 or 3v1' because he has too many angles on him. He needs to learn how to break angles with cover or at least line of sight to limit the amount of people who have a shot on him. The more baddies you can see at once, the more guns you have focusing on you. Also, some of these games like CoD you have people zipping around as fast as they can looking for enemies, and that kind of thing is the #1 thing that can ruin your time in games like Squad or HLL where the engagement range is typically from 150yds to 400yds and not right in front of you like in Battlefield or CoD. People are camping because they're practicing area denial by setting up a field of fire, it's not a KD ratio type of game. If you zip around you paint a huge bullsye on your back and will be killed and think to youreslf "This game is just a walking and dying sim, I can't even see the bad guys.... UNISTALL"

It should be a massive accuracy penalty to not use a stock, because not having a stock makes every other action faster. Stocks are cheap.

Do you use a gun stock? The speed at which you find your dot and line it up to target is insane. Nevermind do you have a recommendation for an onward stock?

Personally I’m a sharpshooting type of sniper and love to hit a target very far away and stay at a main location because if you move to much you die so from me to you use the bipod 12 x and the sv98 very solid gun and try to hit the 600 meter target at the range. Shoot behind the bags and lay down and when you hit that target the dopemien will hit like a truck so try my style it’s boring until you hit your shot

You can try having some sort of lace or cable on your shooting hands controller, that you can grab with your support hands thumb. The tension helps alot with stability, and since its just looped around your thumb you can easily let go and be hands free

What a bunch of BS of a video. Basically what you're talking about is if enemies don't look at you and you do look at them, then you will win. No shit Sherlock... Isn't that a common sense? I was expecting to learn actual angle game, for example if you're close to a corner, the enemy will see you first. Like in 5:26, nexxess will see character model of defilade earlier than him. So it is not a neutral angle, and nexxess definitely has an advantage. Or in certain angles, you can see your enemy fully and he can see only small part of you

yes you can camp the whole game and win but its boring and doesn't take skill etc obvs onward is a game that you should play slow but in a BR or faster paced game getting killed to campers is just irritating no skill needed

I only recently discovered you Theta and have been really engaging on In onward. I often find myself too kind in games and lobbies as i am outaide of competition, treating it too loosely

I'm a long-term fps player and I prefer randomness in game play. I don't this it's as black and white as "new like random old no" Veterans like to hold the reins of skill even in games of randomness I'm pretty sure it's just a GAMEPLAY PREFERENCE. If it wasn't, Roguelite/like would never be as popular as they are/were Also honestly chest is about making the least bad mistakes to win than it is to making the best choices.

there is a place for turtling. if the whole team is turtling you will have significant problems. if one or two guys manage to reach a good spot and turtle in a place that is a pain in the ass for the enemy it can really pay off. if the enemy is CONSTANTLY taking potshots from a building on their flank that they cannot seem to clear out it can distract them enough to help your main force take them out or defend against their attack. a good example is firefight on downfall where one team takes twins, north hotel, or NE two story.

tho theres still alot to it the main idea is you want the best advantage with the angles but doesnt really tell how to with more strategies like positioning you can plan to take the enemy down but sometimes avoiding could be better there are other objectives within the game depending on the situation

iv been playing onward for a few months now and i agree that the pistol is pretty never used bu tin a few sircumstances its actualy benn the matter off me winning a match or lossing a couple of times my team was pinned in a hout in big maps and out of ammo and i was in a nother room when a grenade killed them all and i eventualy ran out of my primary wepon a m4 with a 4x and had to sap to my 1911 and watied at a angle for the last 2 guys to enter the building and i won what im saying is i would bring a 1911 fro pistol cause it dos more damage and ur not going to be using it that much anyway in my appinion the extra couple of points is worth it but every person has a load out that works best for them
