Awesome! It seems like the goal is to win a round more often, and knowing how to get the ideal situation to fulfil that (best initial angle without it quickly turning into a bad angle). Meaning, getting a easy situation / angle, and getting an easy reset, and repeating.

Interesting concept. I came here to learn about desktop fps games like cod, battle field, but i see how this is applicable universally. It just comes down to using cover/concealment and awareness. I was hoping youd be able to go over certain drills you do to practice angle taxonomy but i think i havw a rough understanding that its just mostly pattern recogniztion, map knowledge and planning.

Here is a small suggestion, on how we can get wider field of view with third person camera in video games. By using three camera angles around the player, the first angle rotated 60 degrees behind the player to the left, the second (without rotation) just behind the player at a normal angle, and the third rotated 60 degrees behind the player on the right, we get three pictures side by side. This gives us a wider field of vision and makes it easier for us to measure distances. Thank you for reading. :-) By the way, I like your video!

Sometimes virtual gunstock can be useful for beginners or cofertable intermediate people it can help aim if have shaky hands it can help aim while still having fluid movement but thank you theta it is so useful with your videos even though I’ve been playing for four years I still have just learned times now from you

Yeah, my buddy his strategy is to shoot first and not miss - so naturally he dies every time he gets 2v1 or 3v1' because he has too many angles on him. He needs to learn how to break angles with cover or at least line of sight to limit the amount of people who have a shot on him. The more baddies you can see at once, the more guns you have focusing on you. Also, some of these games like CoD you have people zipping around as fast as they can looking for enemies, and that kind of thing is the #1 thing that can ruin your time in games like Squad or HLL where the engagement range is typically from 150yds to 400yds and not right in front of you like in Battlefield or CoD. People are camping because they're practicing area denial by setting up a field of fire, it's not a KD ratio type of game. If you zip around you paint a huge bullsye on your back and will be killed and think to youreslf "This game is just a walking and dying sim, I can't even see the bad guys.... UNISTALL"

It should be a massive accuracy penalty to not use a stock, because not having a stock makes every other action faster. Stocks are cheap.

Do you use a gun stock? The speed at which you find your dot and line it up to target is insane. Nevermind do you have a recommendation for an onward stock?

Personally I’m a sharpshooting type of sniper and love to hit a target very far away and stay at a main location because if you move to much you die so from me to you use the bipod 12 x and the sv98 very solid gun and try to hit the 600 meter target at the range. Shoot behind the bags and lay down and when you hit that target the dopemien will hit like a truck so try my style it’s boring until you hit your shot

You can try having some sort of lace or cable on your shooting hands controller, that you can grab with your support hands thumb. The tension helps alot with stability, and since its just looped around your thumb you can easily let go and be hands free

What a bunch of BS of a video. Basically what you're talking about is if enemies don't look at you and you do look at them, then you will win. No shit Sherlock... Isn't that a common sense? I was expecting to learn actual angle game, for example if you're close to a corner, the enemy will see you first. Like in 5:26, nexxess will see character model of defilade earlier than him. So it is not a neutral angle, and nexxess definitely has an advantage. Or in certain angles, you can see your enemy fully and he can see only small part of you

yes you can camp the whole game and win but its boring and doesn't take skill etc obvs onward is a game that you should play slow but in a BR or faster paced game getting killed to campers is just irritating no skill needed

There's so much repetition with human combatants because of all these motions to go through. It's funny how playing with bots tends to be more fresh, with no hardly any matches the same. You'd think it'd be the other way around.
