Excellent video. And very timely. For some reason I feel like I'm seeing more and more caps, even in regular non-league games, including pub lobbies. Maybe it's because everyone wants to flank on defence now, going for the glory (myself included sometimes). Or maybe just the ratio of experienced players is dwindling compared to all the new players. Anyways, I didn't know about that Q1 cap spot outside the south side of the plane fuselage, so thanks for that! I always wondered what the point of that little hole was! When I get caught out, it's often because I think I have a really good spot/angle, so I stick to it, and realise too late that I'm the only one left, then when I run out to try and get killed, I can't find any Marsoc players! I often try and call out that a particular direction from objective is open, or that I'm the only one on objective, so if I go down, it's wide open, but my voice doesn't carry well and I expect that no one hears a word of what I'm saying! 😅 Thanks again Theta, hope you and Tempo are doing well in the IVRL!
Hey Empti, it's been a minute! The meta has shifted much more towards aggression on both sides of the game, and smokes are making clearing the OBJ area incredibly hard - which means more caps. The name of the game now is be the aggressor or get steamrolled.

It's a long story, and maybe at some point I'll make a video about it. But the VRML made some big mistakes in handling important issues in season 11 and I got tired of the subpar management which is largely disconnected from Onward (just about everybody who runs it is from Echo Arena at this point). The IVRL, on the other hand, is run by experienced players who are deeply involved in the scene and want to see it grow for reasons beyond sponsorship dollars.
