I love watching these videos. Not only do they cover a lot of general FPS technique, they also always feel like I'm watching an army training video. The tactics considerations that go into a competitive match in Onward are the best part of the entire game.

That one is something I came up with. Hopefully teams catch on to it, because I see a lot of caps happen that would've been prevented with a proper control in place.
ha WHOS first, and again putting out GOLD!!! and yes the LURK is very enticing. as i normally move slow and work angles or rely on refrags, but yes my inexperience always gets me killed from an angle i dont know. also love how you broke down the rounds of how the roles work and fall into place
This is amazing. It reminds me a lot of WarOwl, which is a great thing. His videos made me get DEEP into Counter-Strike and these videos have potential to do the same for Onward. Keep it up!

I would really love a game like Ready or Not but in VR. Just room clearing, no big fields or anything, just go in small buildings and shit.
Dude, I was saying the same thing right after I played Ready or Not for the first time. That experience in VR would be the best.

Are there custom maps in Onward? or even mods? I've never played the game (costs a bit too much and I might not like it, had that happen before) but if modding is supported then the community could basically make the game we're talking about
@@johnderat2652 There are custom maps, but DPI doesn't allow modding right now (and I doubt they ever will). It's a bummer because you're absolutely right, it could be built by the community.

I think it can be helpful for learning the bare basics of the game and getting familiar with the maps without having to sit in the tent for long periods of time. But once you're past the early stages you should switch to uplink.
I love this game but don't feel ready/confident to play online yet!
Just take the plunge, you'll see it isn't as scary as you think it is. And waiting only postpones your progress.

Ha, I don't know about that - and it's been around in CSGO and other FPS shooters for a long time. I'm just bringing it to Onward now.
