@@OpenAirAdventure that’s exactly what we are, chainsaw fanatics 😂 thanks for watching Kenny, have a safe Friday and a great weekend!

@@TravisDoesFirewood yep!
Holy crap, now THAT'S a beast!

Oh man that is beautiful sounding! You are making me want another saw man. I should not have clicked on this video. 😂
@@oakiewoodsman yep sounds great! Thanks for clicking on the video 😂
Love my SFP muffler on my Husqvarna! Certainly my loudest saw as well and it is only a 562.
I saw the amsoil sticker on your saw. Do you use amsoil oil? amsoil saber?❤❤❤
@@miaojiye yes I use and oil saber. Not a dealer, I just put stickers on my saws to make them easily identifiable as mine.
Yes sir, uh huh, yep, 70cc ported, running with the big boys. Pipe sounds marvelous. I started with a ported 7310, spoiled for life now. Unbelievable, 572 and 462 will get done up shortly. 70cc saw done up right, leaves little need for a big honking 90cc. Sweet saw, smooth.
Hello buddy! Ran my 7310 for the first time today. Better than I thought stock
@oakiewoodsman 7310 has a long breaking in period. Tight tolerance. Invest in the proper tuning screwdriver 🪛, or do a limiter delete. New 7310 usually run fat, after break-in, settle down a bit. Pay attention to the coil, 3 stage, may get hung in stage 2 for example. Pop crack bang sputter!
@@EricChmelarsky I agree! Thanks for watching 👍
Wow! That 572 was angry! Noticeably different than the stock one I ran for sure. Take care fellas👊🏻
@@toddsoutsideagain it’s definitely not like a stock one, thanks for stopping by 👍

Hello. I like this 572 but the 500i is mighty enticing!
@@Living-The-Dream yes sir she eats!!! Thanks for watching Rick 👍
That 572 is a rippa - sweet saw 👍👍
Isn’t it beautiful sounding?!?!? Sounds just like my 562. Love the Husqvarna noise!

Humm baby!!! My 572 might just need a port as well.

@@outdoorsinthe608 thanks!
You can thank the good people at GoPro for no sound there at the end. We shoulda smashed that thing when you were here. Nice saw. It is obnoxiously loud. But hot.
@@KNLFirewood I think the problem was I had a mic plugged in and then I unplugged it but didn’t restart the camera. But if there is one camera to mess up audio, it would be go pro 😂
Wow. I’m impressed just by the looks of that saw man. I love my stock 572! I need to purposefully stay away from these ported saws!! 😂😂
@@TwinCityFirewood it’s definitely a rabbit hole I’ve went down. Once one is done, they all kind of need done 😂
So is the chain that was used on that saw a 8Ten or something else are they skip Tooth or totally something else. I thought I Hurd someone mentioned you saying the 8Ten was worth a buy maybe you can clarify. Maybe someday I will break down and get a saw ported.
@@brackenprofaizer2601 all my 25” chains are full comp stihl chains. I do buy 8ten skip chains for 32” and larger bars, just because there cheap and I don’t use them often. I also like 8ten chains for my .325 chains I run on my 50cc saw. Again, because there cheap, work good, I don’t use them a lot, and I’m more likely to use that saw when cutting junk or somthing that may ruin a chain.
@@765Guys I guess I’ll stick with Oregon I’ll just try skip tooth. I started making my own chain . I have bars from 12” to 36” and I like to keep spares in the box of each I use the Oregon grinder. Just picked up ms400 because I bought a semi load of pine “Wyoming” not to many options and it was lodge pole so supper small. But I do have a 592xp for the cotton wood again (Wyoming) the base of that tree was 55” I had a front end loader put it on my goose neck and got 5 cords just from that section of tree. Thanks for getting back to me
You guys need to do a comparison to the 462 and maybe even the 500i if it’s ported, obviously because I’m curious and I really like saws!
@@wadepennington1733 ported 500 should walk all over the 572 I would think. There's only one guy I know building 572s that will hang with my 500s and he doesn't build saws for just anybody.
@@wadepennington1733 we will at some point once I’ve got more time on the 572. I just threw that clip in of the stock 500 and 572 just because I needed a baseline of how this saw stacked up.
@@Leave_Nothing_Stock yeah for sure, it still would be cool to see how much faster it would be compared to the 572
@@765Guys understandable, can’t wait to see a video about it eventually, I’m thinking about getting a couple of my 70cc saws ported because of you guys! Thanks for your videos because they help me out a lot!
They do wake up quite a bit after a certain amount of time from what I hear. I've had a few 572 customers call me one day after work and say "I don't know what happened, but this thing just woke the fuck up"
@@Leave_Nothing_Stock could it be the auto tune learning? I feel like the first tank was good, tank 2-3 was really good.
I've heard there's actually programming in the software that holds em back for a certain amount of time and I'd actually buy that. It's never "yeah it feels a little different over time" it's always "all of a sudden, it's a different saw" I'll be curious to get your thoughts on that as time goes on
Not bad for the slowest saw I work on!! 😂
@@Leave_Nothing_Stock slowest? Damm! 😂
@765Guys my 400s are a little faster than my 572s. Little less grunt though from the smaller saw. 500s are a good bit faster. 661s...hold on! 10.7 hp may change your mind on the 90s!🤣
@@Leave_Nothing_Stock I have no doubt the 661 is a powerhouse. My buddy Aaron has a ported 661 he loves. I just like a little lighter saw for messing with firewood. I have seen your 400s and they look pretty quick!
With the muffler and clutch cover you're running on the 572, I bet you it's closer to a 661 than you think... 400s one of my favorite saws right now, but they're a true hot rod. They're close to 8hp around 11k so you gotta have your chains dialed in every second if you want to get the most of em.
@@Leave_Nothing_Stock it should be 1 or 2 pounds lighter than 661. It’s half pound lighter than my 500 and if I remember right last time I weighed them 500 is a pound lighter than 661. I’d be running the same cover on 661. I did notice this muffler is a decent amount heavier than stock, but I love the look and sound so it’s all good 👍
Friends with boilers make disposing of the ugly, gnarly stuff easy. Nice work fellas.
Morning Genin and Aaron , that turned out to be some nice looking wood . 👍🏻🪵🇺🇸
Echo 7310…..
Still one of the most impressive of the smaller commercial machines. I still want one!!!! Trying to talk my neighbor into buying one!!!! Nice work gentlemen 💪
Stihl actually has a pre filter that wraps around the air filter simple piece of kit that makes a world of difference, I had one om my 044 and never had any issues with the filter clogging up every 5 or 6 tanks of gas like you get with out one. It really does make a difference been around for a long time just seem to not be on new Stihls now.
Husky might be faster but the sound a Stihl makes at full noise even with a stock muffler definitely does it for me. Some asshole stole my 660 a couple of weeks ago, I just got a 661 cm haven't run it yet but not sure if it'll be the same cos my 660 went hard all day.
I’m more of a fan of the stihl ms661 for felling and my go to is ms462 mid range then my ms261 for limbing
That single wedge sure helped with some of those nasty pieces!! Great video Genin!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
@@davidedwards3734 thanks David , single wedge is great!
Those new 540’s are excellent saws! I have both the rear and top handled version, super handy little saws depending on what you’re using it for. The top handle is a little heavy (in comparison to a trim saw such as an echo 2511) however, for a little extra weight the power output is unmatched. Great for everyday use and large removals.
The ultra sure makes splitting firewood more fun.
@@OpenAirAdventure yes it does, thanks Kenny!
Great tool set right there!

That was definitely some stringy stuff. I have split quite a bit of elm and typically don't mind it, but I'm selective when splitting. If it seems like a hassle, it goes on the boiler pile.

Right out of the gate a bark box on the 661 , and bone stock 592 ! Everyone knows there' an advantage beyond just sound with a bark box ! Put a ported muffler on the 592 then go head to head and see what happens ! It was put across as trivial and ment nothing that the stihl had the bark box when in reality it wasn't trivial ! Little tricks like that just completely twist the narrative , the guys like me would clearly notice what's going on here !
I bought an 8lb Fisker's maul yesterday and love it.
I really like the shindaiwa 357
Over the years I have split a lot of elm. I personally buck it up and forget it for a few months. It splits a lot better. This video was a lot of fun to watch. Have a great day.
@@GlenKent-n8n that’s a good idea, thanks for watching!
I absolutely understand the "creative block" that you're going through. I haven't made a video in a while for that reason. Sure, I could just make another bucking rounds or splitting video, but there are already 20 people out there doing that. I don't want to just copy what everyone else is doing. I'd rather put out videos that people find a little more interesting. And that Elm........................YOU CAN KEEP IT LOL. I don't think I'd take a free load of Elm if it was offered to me! That stringy crap would probably twist my box-store spreader into a knot trying to split that stuff!
@@JeffGeorgalas elm is not fun 😂 thanks for stopping by Jeff!
Liked the video, just bought HD10 max unlimited. 👍👍👍
why u run skip chain on the 36? u don't think it would be faster with full comp?
@@julianlaustsen1991 I think over 32” bar full skip handles chips better. Full comp may be faster but it doesn’t disperse chips near as well.
I like at the moment of 18.24 they realize the electric saw isn't cut out to do the job. Electric saws are for hobbies or arborist that aren't using them all the time love your guys videos keep making them
Such a hard job for peanuts on a dollor, afyer taxes ur lucky to bank 40 a cord, not much for amount of work, must b just to use saw?
@@alltherpm It can be tough work but I enjoy it. I sell my wood for much more than a lot of people in my area, I don’t sell as much as some, but I make some nice money on the side doing wood. I don’t need the extra money so if it wasn’t worth doing I wouldn’t do it.
How many totes you have .do you buy them.if so what's the going rate
@@johnpeake4931 I have 80-90 of them. I have not bought any. The going rate in our area for selling totes is around 25$. Most places have to pay to get rid of them when the totes are expired, so a lot of places are glad to give them away. Just have to know the right people.
