Having the right equipment to do firewood certainly helps when opportunity comes knocking (or crashes down). Great score on the big oak tree. The Mini Skid and a dump trailer are a great combo for firewood production.
That little bob kitten will sure fool ya!! You operate it well man! Those grapples with the angled up tines are def the right tool for the job! Enjoyed it Jimmy!!
@@Living-The-Dream it’s definitely become a great asset for me. I couldn’t do without a loader and the more I use this one, the more I love it. Thanks for stopping by Rick, enjoy your Sunday!
Bob kitty😂😂, love it. She barely wanted to even pick those rounds up. A nice ride for ya. It'd be cool if they put the auxiliary lever on the top of the right joystick, like it is on a excavator. Was weird to me when I ran Matts for a little bit. Sweet score!!!!
@@LogCabinFirewood I agree I’d be better if the aux lever was with the loader control but I understand them keeping every lever separate and mechanical. Wood caluculator says those 4ft long rounds are 1400 pounds a piece, seems high but I know they were real heavy! Thanks for watching!
@@765Guys big round definitely aren't light bro, she got the job done nicely tho!!!💪 I'm gonna join the kitty club eventually. Matt and you have me sold, just need to find a good deal!
Hi Gennin. I love that bob kitten you have. What a nice machine. My Case had the motor go out. I thought of trying to find a bobcat mini to replace my skidsteer. I used my case with so many attachments. I have to stay with a skidsteer mostly for lifting totes 2 high and to run my snow blower that requires at least 17 gpm to operate the hydralic blower. I seen in one of your videos that your little sister (Alec) had a 236D Cat. How does he like that machine. That’s one I have on my radar. Please let me know. The trip you and Mike made to Jacob’s and Todd’s was really cool. Thanks in advance.
@@clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood hey al! the 236b3 my brother used is our parents. We really like it for what it cost. It’s a power house for being 61hp. Lifts anything we throw at it and it’ll push through piles without bogging down. My bobcat mini will stack totes 2 high. Are you going to Bunyon this year?
Hi Gennin. Thanks for getting back to me. I like the info on the 236 b. I’ll keep searching for more info on a skid steer. Thanks for getting back to me. We planned to go to Bunyan. We just dropped our reservations last week. We have a major house remodel going on and looking for a skid steer. The cost are crazy. You know what I’m talking about. It is possible we might still go if things get moving on our remodel. HAVE FUN AT BUNYAN.

I've got to say, I'm surprised (and impressed) that the mini skid had enough ass to lift some of those rounds. Nice job!
