I can't wait to see it run vs a stock 462 and your ported 500i. You should run your ported 462 vs stock 500i - that would be interesting. I'm a husky guy, i run 550xp and 592xp, which i love. The thing that is kicking me in DA NUTZ is that ported 500i, however 2600bucks OACH!!!! I also look forward to seeing 309machine port a 572xp. The ms462 and 572xp both companies have those 70cc dialed in for longevity - BOTH IMPRESSIVE THEY LAST!!!
@@CatsRcool-b5o haven’t ran a ripsaw 500, but I can tell you 309 machine will have a saw in your hands much quicker. From what videos I’ve seen, and my experience, 309 builds one of the best 500’s on the market.
@@NeighborlyHomestead thanks! The excavator is a lifesaver when you’ve got 2 guys. It may not be as productive to have 1 person not cutting but the saw man can run so much longer and not get tired as opposed to just cutting on the ground. This is definitely my preferred method if I’ve got the help!
Saw was screamin!! You two work real well together. Not sure what kind of elm it was at the end? Sure did have interesting end grain! Great t-shirt 👍🏻👍🏻
@@outdoorsinthe608 it was my preferred saw before, and now I like it even more. Still isn’t a ported 500 but it’s improved from what it was. Have yourself a good and safe day!
Your Sis, Alexandria ……..does nice work……..she knows how to hold wood 😂 Saw sounds great and seems to run very well……nice that the gas consumption is still good too 👍🪵👏🇺🇸😎 Rick
@@bearlaceration8971 I knew I’d get this comment. This was the first time I’d run the saw since having it ported. I wanted to push it and see what it was capable of rather than running it easy.
Great video!! Y'all made those logs into rounds in a short amount of time!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
@@davidedwards3734 thanks David!
Twice as fast as a new stock saw.
My 462 is definitely going out for port work.
I’m going to find out very soon how much faster it is than stock. You won’t regret sending it to 309 machine!
That things definitely opened up. Nice cutting!!!

Saw is definitely running nice. Once you get a ported saw you will never want to go back to a stock saw again.
