Coming soon... the Summer of Stories! ☀️
☀️ Introducing the Summer of Stories! ☀️⁣

Each week this summer I’ll be hosting interviews with pioneering business owners. Their backgrounds, industries and business models vary, but what unites them is being the first, or among the first, in their community or their field to pursue their work.⁣

Catch our conversations as they're streamed live to be inspired on your own journey and to see how stories are at the core of every successful brand. ⁣
Let me know in the comments: what question would you have for a business owner who’s used to being the only person like them in a room? ⁣

    Those desiring spiritual encounter and mystical experience, those wishing to know god intimately, fasting from all things but god will soften your heart and bring you humbly closer to he. Go into the place of earnest whisper, and simply ask to know him, his love. We all truly desire to know god, to be one with he. As you reach for his heavenly kingdom, you may just find all your little earthly worries becoming evaporate, silenced by these tastes of new experience. May you plant these seeds from above onto the earth, into your life renewed. Prayerfully ask to be a sword for he, an agent for great change in service to humanity. Seek to please our lord in thought, word and deed. Dwell upon serving others best, for we are but one though we are also the many, the miraculous marvellous magnificent. God is the source of all things, may we remember just how dependent we are. Where would I be without those before me, around me, above me. The more we see contrast, the more we appreciate individuality. Meditate on the purpose of your desire. Be like a river flowing down stream, a leaf in the breeze, a passenger on a ship. Become an observer, steadfast and vigilant in your awareness of the moment. Step aside from those discomforts and afflictions of the heart and mind, please know truly that it serves a purpose and is a compass into gods embrace. Your thoughts and feelings are all rooted somewhere, I wonder what their lesson is. Bless the world as your mirror and teacher. It is wise to seek council. What are you willing to sacrifice. Fear is the great revealer of your souls desire, all that is in there will be cast out upon the world, so what are you most fearful of. Ponder your spiritual inheritance and your worthiness. Peace and freedom is gods bounty to those who seek the righteousness in all things, they that work for god, for love. Spiritual dettachment is a natural progression for those that love unconditionally, those that find the teachings within relationship, those that mend old wounds and open new doors. It’s a joy to seek the remedy to what ails us, so find the light that comforts and avails you even in your darkest of dark. In his ceaseless works, I am sustained completely. Christhood is for everyone, we are each so needed, treasured and special to god. Your Christic destiny awaits you, if that is your wish. Become exemplary, your full potential. Strive in heart and mind to be his love in all its guises in action, within your life, to those around you and those afar. Words are a thousand weapons, may you tender them carefully. Dare to let love triumph over the world and flesh. You learn best by giving your best, experience is the grand teacher. Now when ready cross your arms, and as you stimulate your nipples with tenderly love, bring a keen eye into your sacrum area. It is there you will feel a point of great power and potential and with your intention, will and focus you mightily just arouse this potent spark from its slumber and upwards towards your crown it will rise. Do not be afraid, for all things work for the glory of god. Drink from the waters of thy own cistern, but a teardrop will suffice. Our mothers nature is so good to us, may we find healing in all that she offers. Living foods will uplift our spirits. Make your heart pure and whole. When something of your unrest becomes divinely understood, your pains will abate, for god is absolutely merciful. The redemptive spirit is beautiful. The soul lost and broken is apt for great growth, for suffering has purpose, you chose it out of your benevolent heart. Know thyself, know your enemies. Be patient with your animal self, your wounded self, revelation may we seek. Knowing your plight affords you compassion. Judge not, compare not, for each life is between they and the creator. To share your own wisdoms is always loving and wise, remember intention is everything. Forgiveness will allow grace to find you. God never gives up on you, it is gods delight in your return to he. You are not alone, we all deeply love and acknowledge each other, we just have funny ways of showing it, for it is to each others benefit praise his grand design. Our god knows our heart of hearts, the timbre of our being, for he made us and is always with us, within us. You are seen, heard, and known and loved, always and forever, that is his truth and promise. God knows our needs best. With a devout acceptance and trust in gods plan, may we hurt a little less and give a little more. Let suffering be not in vain, may we ask our heavenly father why so. Even in the darkest dark one can find the light if one so chooses, such is the immutable law of god, the freedom of choice, our free will. Take solace in knowing that you battle with a great enemy, the confusion and sway of darkness and yet it is to our service, may you find this truth within and without. Take comfort and strength in he, for the company of heaven rejoices in your valiance. We are not truly anything negative or dark. Where there is his light, there is no dark. The wicked only fear themselves really. The creatures of the night are but the displays of the sensitive child. The greatest trick of the devil is to convince you he does exist. Judgement is the souls yardstick into itself, our will is the broom of change. God is the source of all darkness, how brave we all are to fall for he who wished to know himself better. We all have a desire to feel connected to something, even those in suffering, It is a connection to the divine that we all truly seek. The giver of eternal life and all that is good. And If we only knew we would never have, similarly, if we knew better we would have. Ignorance serves god, trust in he. It is a great burden indeed we who have caused harm to others, may god ease our suffering if it so accords to his plan. We cannot move the immovable burdens of darkness alone, so pray to god, for it is his great joy to serve you. Justice know that we will all acknowledge intimately and completely all that we do. God knows your harrow sorrow, your horror unbearable, and holds you close, even in your abandon of he. When your time is nigh, you will repent. Who am I deserving of his lands even in my wickedness, seek to make amends. Our god is just. You reap what you sow in the eternity of time, the soils of fertility. What keeps captive your imagination, what so captivates it. Self preservation is a powerful force. Condemnation is ones own doing. Depravity, the shrouding of awareness, ones beingness, is a blinding to our maker, of all things that are good, may we pray that it is swift. Appearances can be deceiving. There are two sides to every story, and yet no sides to god. Follow the uncanny, the impossible, the lure of importance. Those devoted to his natural laws will come to fear nothing. Learn to accept your place in god. In the darkest dark will his truths be made known ever so clear. All we need is the shimmer of hope. Sometimes we must go backwards to go forwards. Perspective means everything, lest we not forget. We are but children in a playground, students in a school, christening soldiers of his love and light divine, and there are many levels paradoxical. It is an honour and duty to follow my sacred path so narrow, I am eternally grateful for this opportunity here and now. May your mysteries become enlightened. Dream yourself awake. To discern the flutters of ones heart is supreme. What are your warmest sentiments, they might just give you wings. Lay to rest that which you do not understand, for its time will come, as time tells all. What wouldn’t infinite love not do for itself, the absolute good, the unimaginable marvel, the impossible possible, the wonder of the never ending story. God is the ageless poet, the supreme storyteller, the surreal real. May your becoming be filled with glee, as you remember his creation as astonishment. You are not a mistake, your experience is not by accident. You are perfect as you are. How can we not love and have reverence towards the lord of all that is. Through devotion to he, to his truth, we come to recognise that we are made in his image, what an amazing gift we have been bestowed. Our self image is our nearness to he, our pride is our distance. Enjoy your body, listen to your body, but remember it’s just a body. Become empty. Homecoming is what we yearn for, to belong to he, and the remembrance of our extraordinary self. Love is our essence. May the light of gods truth become unmistakably and forever more self evident that your beingness and reality be made anew, a rebirthing into spirit. Make him proud, do the right thing by all and you’ll rest in he. Brothers and sisters, you am I, just as I am you and I love you. Know that if you reject these words you are rejecting he who sent me, for I have come to give you everything. If you feel called to share this message please do. I wish you the very best on your journey of journeys, thank you for being you. Blessings for humanity may we pray, for his glory here on earth as it is in heaven, so be it.

    Not all windows in Glasgow homes have windows like that. The majority of people do use driers and have fitted wardrobes i.e. they lay flush against the wall with sliding doors. Also many new homes or larger homes have a seperate room for the washing machine and drier. When viewing houses i also saw people who had there washing machines in the bathroom. I stayed in rented flats in Canada and the US and none of them had a washing machine anywhere. You had to use shared facilities in the basement or use a laundrette. I also found it strange that kitchen sinks had no draining board and you had to use a plastic tray with a lip that hung over the sink when washing dishes.

    Lovely video 😀. I’ve just found your vlog, was looking for videos like that. I’m planing to move to Rhu. Was looking for a nice city to live in Scotland and just discovery this great village. I meaning, it’s the paradise, lovely and calm place to live. And there is all these beautiful landscapes over there, I jus felt in love 🤣. I meaning, how to not love this place? And just loved your video, thank you. I know, live in Uk, it’s can be a little lonely sometimes, specially to outsiders. I’m from Brasil and had been in London all the year of 2017. It was a great experience, of course. I loved all the time and not regret nothing. But it was a very lonely experience too. Even being london (big city and lot of peoples), it was hard sometimes. I feel sorry for you felling like that too, but I feel happy too, because today (2 years later your experience), I’m pretty sure you don’t regret nothing about it. I’m pretty sure you loved it and always remember it with happiness, like I do. And I’m pretty sure, as well, there is a lot of good things you can tell us about Rhu. So, I’m happy for you, although all the loneliness. And very happy because I’ve discovered, watching your video, that the peoples in Rhu are very nicely and kind. I’m looking for something really like that. I’m looking for a fresh start in new place, and all I want, is a calm and quiet place to have a nice life. And, in addition to everything I have already said here, Rhu is placed on a very convenient localization. It’s very quiet and about 10 minutes from Helensburgh (and just a few miles away from Glasgow, something around a hour by car). In london, I’ve expended over three hours in the transit every single day, and I don’t even plan to go to Glasgow over twice a week (in actually, I plan go there only once a week, just for tour). So, I have found the perfect place to live, the place of my dreams 🤣. I meaning, I had seen all the landscapes from google, it’s perfect 😅. I will expend a lot of time contemplating god’s job 🤣. Thanks again 😀. See you, bye bye.

      Aw thank you for watching and commenting Ramon! I'm glad this video was helpful for you. If you're looking for a calm, quiet place then you're right Rhu will be perfect! It's a lovely wee village, and you're also right that I only have fond memories of my time there - no regrets. It's very easy to get to Helensburgh on the bus, and from there to Glasgow. Definitely a great location. I'd definitely visit again in the future. All the best with your move! xx

    You must have a drying green in the "back door", have you neve noticed neighbours hanging clothes out? On a sunny warm day things are dry really quickly, on a cooler windy day things still really dry quickly. There is a term "a good drying day" and trust me, your older neighbours know when it's a good drying day. Just copy them!

      Thanks for watching and commenting Azulinho! We do have a back garden but nobody hangs anything up out there. :) It's not in use at all actually! I think the door's been locked for a while; bit of a shame really.

    I enjoyed this, seeing old stomping ground. Yeah you were on Argyle Street, it's broken into 3 bits by city changes over the years, unbroken it would be 2 miles long, running from Glassford Street/Trongate all the way to across the River Kelvin and it would be a debate whether it or Duke Street Glasgow was longer. Where you were sitting at the start you didnt know about the building/s behind, they are simply residences. Extremely prime real estate residences originally built for the merchants, currently a 3 bedroom duplex is for sale there for £1.1million+(!) You passed by flat grass and the _blaes_ pitch, I wonder if you encountered that dated word. It describes the red gravel type stuff on some old style playing surfaces. Back in the day there used to be big games played on that pitch, great fun, loads of semi-serious games with local lads, Anderston boys used to hang out, but one outstanding game was when a group of 7 English lads were staying at the hostel up there, and they wanted to play these 5 French lads who were doing the same. My friend, a girl actually, and I as Scots made up the Auld Alliance France team and we totally pumped them by passing a lot 🤣🤣🤣 I must have played 100 times on that pitch, no joke. Then on your way out, you crossed Sauchiehall Street right before you got to Argyle, which is also a pretty long street! Hope you're still enjoying Glasgow, or if you;ve gone now hope you have good memories! ✌💙🤍💙

      @gabriellegweneth 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh thanks so much for your detailed comment Azulinho! I loved reading all of it :) I'm amazed that those buildings are residences. What a dream to be able to live there! Wow at £1M+ though! I hadn't heard the word blaes before - thanks for teaching it to me. :) And yes eventually I realised that that street is Sauchiehall - it's much longer than I imagined. Very cool that I could walk all the way into the city centre from there. I am still in Glasgow and making wonderful memories. Glad this video got you to enjoy some nostalgia. :)

    Sorry to hear that loneliness was difficult to endure. I've visited Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh, even Fort William in the Highlands. I've found that in Edinburgh, there are more possibilities for meeting people, making friends, and interacting with others, if that is at all helpful 😄😄😄. Please let us know how the job search went, and what it took to find one. For me, that would be so helpful. I'd like to make the move within a year, so any and all tips are appreciated! 😁👍😁

    Does it smell like toast? I mean like bread that you put into a toaster? I've noticed it every time I've been in Scotland. I love it! 😆😆😆 If it is that toast smell, I was told by a local that it was from either the breweries for beer, or the distilleries for Scotch. It's such a cool smell! We have several breweries now in San Diego, and depending where you are at certain times, you can smell that toasty smell. It's not as good as in Edinburgh, but it allows my mind to drift to times of being there. 😊

    • @gabriellegweneth
      @gabriellegweneth 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Norrin! It doesn't smell like toast to me but the consensus from all the comments here is that yes, it's from a brewery or distillery. It does have a yeasty sourness to it so I think that's right! Thanks for watching and commenting :)

    I just came across your videos on TH-cam, and have started watching several of them. I was just in Edinburgh in April for about 10 days. I've been to Scotland four times now, since 2001. My last two trips were the longest, about two weeks. But, this last one was absolutely the best! It hurt my soul to leave, and once I got home I decided that I wanted to make the move. So, I've been doing as much online research, and finding videos of those that've made the move, to get as much help/recommendations/advice etc. that I can get. Unfortunately, most information that I've gathered hasn't been overly encouraging. As a US citizen living in San Diego, California, I understand the complexities of a person wanting to move and work in the United States that's not a citizen. I'm finding those difficulties are mirrored in the UK. With the ways the laws are set up regarding Work Visas, it makes it quite difficult to get one. But, I keep hoping, and researching, and getting thoughts and advice from others. I found your video on the struggles of finding a flat very informative. I'd been told by locals that can be a challenge, due to false advertisements and scammers. I was hoping to find out how you got work, but it seems you're a writer. That's awesome! I tried that a few years back. I wrote a few books and even had one published. But, unfortunately, I was never very successful. So, I moved on. I still write and do creative things, like drawing, for fun. I'll keep watching your videos, and hopefully get more tips that may help in my dream and endeavor, to move to Scotland. All my best!

      Hey Norrin, what attracts you to Scotland? Four visits from the US is no small feat! I don't have any helpful advice for emigrating, unfortunately, since I inherited British citizenship through my mother. I can sympathise with the difficulty in trying to move to a new country where you're not a citizen though, because I once tried to move to NYC! Perhaps the answer for you will be found in your writing, if you pick it up again and then make it into your business/full-time role. What kind of writing do you do?

    • @Scorpion6174
      @Scorpion6174 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gabriellegweneth Thanks for your reply! It's true, trying to move to another country can be quite difficult. Governments and their laws don't make it easy. That's really cool that you have UK citizenship from your mother. I detect no accent (British), when listening to you. I'm a bit of a nerd, so I tend to write Sci-Fi/Fantasy type stories. Although, I once started a story about a woman living in San Diego that fled to Tijuana, Mexico, because she was a suspect in a murder. I never finished that one, though. But, I'm a big comic book superhero nerd, so I both write and draw in that genera. You can find some of my artwork on my Instagram by searching my name. I'm looking into a few possibilities in regard to work, if I'm allowed to make the move. Perhaps you're right,...maybe, I can use my writing or art skills to help in making the move. All my best! ☺️☺️☺️
