    In watching your videos, I appreciate that you realize you have physical needs, mental health needs, emotional needs, and even spiritual needs. In trying to be a well-rounded person, neglecting any one of those needs can leave you feeling as though you're not whole, or that something is wrong or missing.

      Thanks Norrin :) You're right, we have to think about *all* the components of our 'selfhood' and take care of them :)

      @@gabriellegweneth Agreed! The world is such an unstable place right now, you never know what's gonna happen from one day to the next. I believe it's in each of our best interest to keep our "selfhood" in the best condition we can, so as to be the best us we can be, when dealing with the instabilities. 😏👍😏

    You should jump on the underground to Hillhead and visit the Botanic Gardens it's so lovely on a sunny day , when leaving Hillhead Station turn right and walk for 5 minutes . There is lots to see and plenty of shops and cafe's for a spot of lunch ;)

      Yesss! A visit to the Botanic Gardens is at the top of my list! Combining it with a café lunch sounds delightful. Thanks for watching and commenting Jim! ^_^

      Hi Gerard! I have been to Pollok Park and seen the coos! It was lovely :) The Burrell Collection was still closed then but if it's not open by now I have read that it'll be open very soon.

    Hope you're doing well today. It's not the best time of year to be stuck indoors without friends and family around you. Seems you are doing all the right positive things anyway. So Happy Hogmanay and I hope you can find some time to - perhaps not celebrate 2020 - but reflect on it. It's a tradition here to open your window at midnight and let the old year out, and let the new year in. Sadly that's about the only tradition which is possible now due to pandemic. All the best for 2021.

      Hi Paul, thank you so much! I actually made it home to see family - just in time. ^_^ Happy Hogmanay to you too! And thanks for sharing that tradition with me. :)

    Buy plants and watch them grow. Grow seeds.

      Yes I love both these ideas! I've bought basil and mint plants a few weeks ago and watering them every day and watching them grow has been a treat. ^_^

    How do you find it living in Scotland?
    I am about to move to Helensburgh area from London as my job is transferring me to work in Glasgow

    • @gabriellegweneth
      @gabriellegweneth  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh! Helensburgh is a nice little town and all the people I met there and in Rhu were very friendly. I like Glasgow too, although most of my time here has been indoors due to the pandemic. The parks and the rivers all around allow for a great blend of city life and natural escapes.

    • @norma6786
      @norma6786 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gabrielle Gweneth you are right people are very friendly and nice. The only thing I noticed there is no diversity in people. Being mixed race was quite weird walking in a town where no one looked like me!

      @@norma6786 Yes I know how you mean! It definitely feels strange. Glasgow isn't much better tbh. Every time I see black person I have to stop myself from staring and I wonder whether I should nod or smile or something haha.

      Gabrielle Gweneth hahaha I actually saw a black guy at the supermarket and I stopped to say hi. He was the first black person I saw in a period of 1 month!!!

      @@norma6786 Haha wow!! I don't think I saw any black people when I was there. Will you be anywhere else in Scotland or are you back down in England now?
