  • I'm moving to Glasgow! Here are my first impressions of the city.
Mummy and I tried some classic dishes, including haggis, and I got my library card from the library at the Gallery of Modern Art!

The tap water in Glasgow is incredibly soft and pure . it is much better than bottled water but some people just refuse to believe this simple truth ( I did once study public health and water supply and they were very clear about this ) . Actually the tap water throughout the UK is very good .

Yes, over a year later and I'm still in love with the water! That's cool you've even studied the water supply here. I can say just from my experience that the tap water tastes far superior to any bottled water I've ever tried. Delicious! We're so lucky. ^_^ Thanks for watching!

Haggis contains oats and something called "the chaps" which I believe is lungs. I think there might be liver as well. It's banned in America as it's considered unfit for human consumption! Actually it's cheap and nutrient dense.

:O lungs?! Wow. It's true though organs are very nutrient-dense!

Glad you enjoyed your lunch in Piper. My pal is the butcher that delivers the meats there. I`m not a big meat eater myself and to be honest, you don`t want to know what goes into Haggis or Black Pudding. As for left overs, in Scotland as the rest of Britain, we don`t ask for them to take home, i wouldn`t do it, i wouldn`t have the brass neck unlike the U.S. where its common place. What you don`t eat gets thrown out.
