Hey, what's up?
I love to play the organ, piano, ukulele, recorder, and sing! In addition, I write my own music from time to time. That means this channel is a ✨ musical variety show, ✨ although most of it is organ! I thank God for the gifts He has given me, and I pray that through this channel, He will be glorified! 🙏
Thanks for checking out my little description thing! If you like what you see, go ahead and subscribe (with notifications on!) so you don't miss out on any future videos! 😉
Adiós, y'all! 👋😎

𝑺𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝑺𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒉𝒏𝒂𝒅𝒆 ~ Trumpet Tune by Henry Purcell (Abridged Version) at St. John the Divine, IL
Hello everyone! 👋
Today I share with you a piece that was played on a very fun organ (see more info below)! I do not often get the chance to play on a real pipe organ, so when I do, it's a treat. This one had a powerful trumpet stop, so I figured a trumpet tune would only be fitting. I played an abridged version that works well for weddings and as a postlude. I hope you enjoy! 😄
Have a good day/night!

Organ info:
The Episcopal Chapel of St. John the Divine in Champaign, Illinois is a neo-Gothic limestone structure begun in 1927 and completed in 2007. The parish voted to build a new pipe organ as the first phase of a long-term Chapel completion effort in 1989; the instrument was completed and first used in public worship on Advent I, 1991.
Designed to compliment St. John’s Gothic architecture, the mouldings and detailings in the organ’s three towers and flats match the details found in the limestone statuary niches and window tracery. The three crowns atop the towers are made from basswood and gilded in 23-karat gold leaf. Carvings found on the pew frontals have been translated into the console’s white oak cabinet; additional carvings of tambourine, flutes and reed pipes decorate the console’s lower portion.

Hello everyone! 👋 This is a part 2 to the videos of me singing in a restaurant in Rome, Italy. This one was dedicated to the man wearing a white shirt you see me singing to in the video, Claudio. He was very kind and helped me to get permission to play on the organ at the Basilica of Sant'Agostino. I only had a few hours to learn this song due to most of the days being jam-packed with traveling...

Hello everyone! 👋 Today I have something a little different for y'all. I just spent 10 days on a pilgrimage in Italy and performed a couple songs for the group during our last dinner together. This one was dedicated to the person you see me singing to in the video, Vincenzo. He is a very funny and hardworking Italian native who guided us throughout the trip. One day, while riding on the pilgrim...

Hello everyone! 👋 Unfortunately, I was not able to find information about this organ which is located in the Basilica of Sant'Agostino in Rome. It was very different from the one I usually play because the keys were harder to press down (since tracker organs use the mechanical action of pressing the keys down to let wind through the pipes), the pedalboard was smaller and not curved, and there w...

Hello everyone! 👋 Today I have for you a light and happy piece that is popular for weddings and also great music for sounding elegant in general. 😂🧐 I took a repeat to make it last a little longer. At the end of the video, you also might notice the picture of myself in graduation regalia. I am happy to say that I have _finally_ finished high school (secondary school)!!! 🥳🎓 I will soon be headin...

I’ve enjoyed this piece and I also know well the things that come with High School graduation and pray that you (alongside my other c/o 2024 notables) have what you need for the transition involved
It certainly does add to the joy of our Saviour’s birth!! Excellent!
Love me some Dean Martin!
Very nice. Do Americans ever use this tune for I Vow To Thee My Country? PS nice baby!
Thanks! It's very possible, but I don't think I've ever heard it used with those lyrics. 🤣 Ah yes the babies are an essential part of any Catholic Mass
J'aime cet Musique
Who is playing?
That would be me 😄
Great experience for you, I'm happy for you! I recall the first time I got to play the organ at St Alban's cathedral here in the UK. I was not as good as you are and I was nervous too. But the thrill was amazing as I'm sure you know. Btw assume you know of Diane Bish. You might like this clip... th-cam.com/video/_4kMyoDP2hk/w-d-xo.html Handel is one of my favourite composers. I am hoping for a chance to play that organ at Freiburg within the next year or so... my fingers are crossed!
Some nice thematic material, some interesting modulations, and where there is counterpoint it is competent, in my view. If I may say so, I think the very end lacks the interest of the rest of the piece and drags a bit. Congratulations from an organist in the UK, and keep it up!
Thank you for your critique! We will keep it in mind in the future 😄
@Paul Fey 🎉🥳🥰🐧 Sehr cool!! 👏🎶 wunderbar gespielt!! 😄❤
Wow, amazing 😮❤❤❤❤
We were in Rome back in May in 2024!! Love your organ playing!! 😊❤️ My mom was a self taught talented organist and trained pianist at my Catholic parish in Leavenworth, KS for 40 years until she died of Metastatic Breast Cancer In August of 2020. 🎵🎶 🎼 🎹 😊❤️
@joebrungardt2419 May eternal rest be granted unto your mother for all of her years of using her talent to glorify God by bringing beauty to so many Masses! 🙏😇🙏
Hohoho! So this is the church you went to, ay! Looks swell, and the organ just as much! I wonder, do you have a tour of the church? If not, all ok, and not a single worry! I can find out too soon enough. Best of luck, and God bless you!
Дуже гарно! Молодець ❤
Love this piece Sarah .. beautifully played ....
A really beautiful piece, Sarah 👏☺️ Like it ❤
👏👍🌹 Molto, molto brava!!!
I listened over and over again, a very calming voicing. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🥹
What a beautiful organ! So glad you got to play on another real one! The church is very beautiful as well
Fantastic sound (and playing, of course!) - this tune was 'borrowed' from Jeremiah Clarke... it's in the same suite of trumpet tunes as the Prince of Denmark's March (Trumpet Voluntary)!! Haven't heard this ornamented version before, rather like it!!
Interesting, I've never heard that before! 🤔 I love doing all the little ornamentations.
Thanks!
Thank you very much!! May God bless you 🙏🥺🎵
Wasn’t this sung at the queen’s funeral?
I haven't heard that, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was! It's a popular hymn and is very moving: a good choice for significant events such as weddings and funerals.
@@SweetSarahnadeMusic You play very well and have a wonderful talent.
It was not sung at the queen's funeral but was sung at Princess Diana's funeral under the title, "I Vow to Thee My Country."
Slay girl you ate that!! (As always) ✨💖😻 lovely
This made me lol! 😂 Thanks for making my day
WONDERFUL PERFORMANCE SARAH.
Thank you!! 🙏
WODERFUL PERFORMANCE SARAH.

Great hearing you play this music that is so well known. Beautiful church & organ sound.
Gorgeous Sarah absolutely love this
Beautiful piece Sarah in a beautiful setting with a magnificent organ. Well done 👏👏❤️
For anyone wondering why some of the chairs in the chapel look pink/purple, it was from the sun shining through the stained glass. 😊
The stained glass can provide an array of colours.
This is my favorite trumpet piece next to Paul Fey's trumpet tune
Excellent well played. Beautiful piece of music.
❤
Grossartig 🥰🌹👍👏🙏
Another good one for your wedding tool kit. Love all the trills!
No matter where you are or what organ, the music is lovely. Thank you. ❤
Nice job!
