Socks are not for everyone. Some of the best wear organ shoes. Others dont. This talented woman should be in a church where the congregation listens as and does not walk around. A nice big Ep piscopal church would offer that

You could play and feel the pedals so much better without any shoes on!!! Shoes are NOT necessary and don't help!!
It's definitely true that everyone has their own preferences about whether or not to wear shoes. It is not _necessary,_ but some find it helpful, especially for more advanced repertoire. They are specifically made for organ and have thin soles so the organist can feel the pedals. I prefer shoes because that is how I was taught, so I am most comfortable with them. ☺️
