I quit the game for the first time I think during or after Sally's 'getting milk for the baby' quest cuz of those burdens. I picked it back up years later to finish that act and then quit at the start of act 3 I genuinely enjoyed act 1, I loved the story and the side quests and just... exploring. But then sally's act started and i just... i didn't care anymore, the game became all its worst parts. I feel like there were also way fewer side quests which made it worse cuz those were some of my favorites. I especially love that butcher side quest towards the end, it was very morbidly funny for me... loved that one

My favorite thing about this game is that it is literally a stand-alone recreation of the Skyrim mod with the same name. It was also made by the same people who made the Skyrim mod.

I have recently been playing older BioWare games and the sequels they may have handed off from time to time (ie kotor2) and I gotta say, writing, dialogue, world building…so good compared to today. I didn’t really understand a lot of long time BioWare fans until I went down this rabbit hole. Now I get it. The writing is so good you don’t even care about the graphics. You let your imagination carry it the rest of the way. A better time to be sure

Im still confused on why the players had to play a death game? Im super late but I just finished the series on Netflix and if they were brought to borderland because they almost died in the real world why are they playing death games? Does borderland just hate people who almost died 😭

Over ten years?! I did not give this game enough love. I played it but found it very lacking in some of the more important parts. But it was very good in the less important part. The deadsuit voice lines where charming, some of the colour pallets where very nice. Also the sound effects where good. Probably the game could have been very good if the creator got enough money to work on it full time. Things like that is always conundrum.

The 3rd ending honestly just feels like it CAN'T be the canon ending, it only plays out like an "f u" to the players who thought they were doing a good thing, despite everything they've experienced in the game. I'm so glad they never made the planned sequel with that one in mind, since there's way better options they could've gone with for the sequel than just "Jade Modern".

I already knew that Pathologic was quite easy, especially if you compare it to the successor. Beeing able to save whenever you want, not getting penalized by dying and using the power of hindsight trivialzed a lot of the problems to face. But you got some brilliant suggestions yourself.

Thank you. I watched the gameplay of this when i was too young and busy with schoolwork to actually understand what was happening in depth. The game popped up in my mind again as a lover of all things horror and i was itching to know what actually happened without watching the huge game. Your video was concise and easy to follow!

I personally admire, and lose myself in the portrayal of the level/plane between life and death in Alice in Borderland (and related). The depth of the circumstances and the plot that this unassuming show portrays is fascinating! I personally am not a religious person and do not believe in "being" after or between death, but the idea of ​​it is very fascinating, and scientifically speaking we actually know nothing about the origin/being of human consciousness, so it is theoretically possible that there is so much more that we do not know and will probably never be able to understand. The way the show plays with the level/plane in between is what makes it so great. The portrayal of the characters and their vast differences and backstories/life-realities, from some who choose suicide to others who would kill anyone just so they themselves can survive, is unprecedented diverse and realistic. And in my opinion it all still is very underrated.

I’m glad people are recognising this game. It is a hidden gem and my favourite singleplayer game. It was truly ahead of its time.

You know what’s terrifying, when before You watch this video in the game you use the green book and name your character Sara and then you see this video and start going crazy🙃

lol...found the video after uninstalling the game. have played only the first chapter & the beginning of the 2nd. but watched a story-video afterwards on youtube ^^ the story is ok but the gameplay is not for me. playing horizon forbidden west now an like it so much more ^^

thank you very much for this. i only playerd with arthur. found the gameplay a bit clunky but the story kept me going. never changed clothes and simply killed everyone. after that....sallys gameplay i really didn´t like. need to be quiet and thoughtfull and prepared at all times. played through some missions and then just uninstalled the game. now i can see the story at last.

the pig being given to the baby made me tear up, that's so sweet :')
