I absolutely loved this video, i've heard several summarizations of this story but you hit many points that i didn't know occurred. Thank you for this concise explanation. If i can get my friends to follow me down the river on this one ill for sure recommend this video if they wanna learn the story from start to finish as opposed to any distractions along the way.
Just discovered your channel, have to say, thank you, you are great! Pathologic 2 was by far one of the best games I played, the best thing about it was the lack of information, you never know whether what you're told is true or false, even the kin's mysticism I thought it was non-sense for the first half of the game. And when I had to find the courier and the game didn't give me any options I was like "wow, a game that tells you figure it out yourself, that's something". I still hope we will have a Bachelor and Changeling route, or if they really want to be ambitious, a multiplayer mode where all 3 players play as Bachelor, Haruspex and Changeling and compete with each other for finding the cure. Your story summaries are the best I could find on TH-cam, not only for Pathologic but for all the games you covered, please, keep it up, you deserve 600.000 subscribers.
There will be, if we get more news in the next couple of months about the Bachelor’s route I’m planning on releasing a Marble Nest video in the lead up to that release date. Otherwise it will be later this year after my “guide to Pathologic 2” video and an updated Dead Island video.
I have to be honest. I had not beaten it. I've picked it up several times over the last few years and always got derailed for some reason or another. Probably because I was trying too hard to win. This time, I finally followed everyone's advice and decided to play through my mistakes. And it was great, I actually started making progress. It was still pretty much everything I did for a full week (I have been sick, so couldn't do much else), but I finally finished. How do I feel about it now? I dunno. I actually think I like it a little less. I died 36 times, and I kind of expected that to matter. But nothing really does. You get your endingtron 3000, there's an epilog of sorts, and that's sort of just it. The game doesn't seem to care what you did. I kept being told it was more rewarding to play through your mistakes, and, well, it saved time, if that counts as a reward. I think I would have liked it better if you weren't given a choice at the end. Then it's like, yeah, everything you do is futile. Themes! But by giving you the big, artificial, "Choose your ending" buttons, it's like, why all of a sudden, now, after everything, give us this choice? And such an empty choice at that. It had felt so meaningful to me, for years, only for some of that meaning to feel a bit empty now that I've finally dragged myself past the credits, expecting all of these secrets and accountabilities to begin spilling out, and there's just, nothing there.
I'm so confused. I gave the orders to the commander and they destroyed Polyheidron. I should get Good Ending (Diurnal Ending) but I got a (this 1:36:30) Fellow Traveler (Bad Ending) ending. I don't know what I did wrong. I forgave Oyun. I saved the children. 4 or 5 people died. I don't know. By the way, when I took blood after Polyheidron was destroyed, the game froze there and the 12th day was written on the screen. The game wanted me to go to the Theatre. Can you explain?
@@notscarlet8321 So, all my important answers and choices were meaningless because I made a single deal with Fellow Traveler? If I make a deal, will I get this ending no matter what?

Thank you, this was an awesome comment to get. I’m sure we will get at least the Bachelor route someday, I just hope we don’t have to wait too long.
Someday we'll have a bachelor route...
Someday soon I hope 🤞
...even though he IS a prickly prick. 😒🤭
@@EvenBadWolvesGaming I have some news
Yes I saw, 2025 if it doesn’t get pushed back
Congrats, wish granted!
I 100% completed Patho2 and it is in my top 10 games of all time for sure. Great job on the video!
Great to see you back on TH-cam!
Thanks!
Happy to see a new Pathologic vid by you!
One does not simply *explain* Pathologic.
One *experiences* Pathologic.
Gosh, I love the concept of this game. 😊
You really went through the whole game ^^ Will there be a video about the Marble Nest?

@@EvenBadWolvesGaming Did you ever hear of "Fear and Hunger" and it's sequel Termina?
Those two gems would fit in your Lore series.
I'm a part of the pathologic 2 community on xbox, and I see your posts all the time!
PATHOLOGIC‼️ your voice is so perfect for talking about this game
Thanks 😊
I just beat this game. Pretty amazing. I would give it a 9/10
Imagine if this studio got a AAA budget.

I’m in the process of putting one together, might be a few weeks though before I can get it out.

the fellow traveler ending happens when you take the fellow traveler's deal
