From what it seems Woman-Thing is a parody of Man-Thing and the artist is supposed to be Alan Moore with his monster being Swamp-Thing. Makes sense has Saga of the Swamp Thing was going on at that time but I cant tell what he was satirizing of it or making fun of

I haven't bought a new comic ,let alone series, ive liked in 7 years. Yeah comic shops dont carry decent comics anymore. I find myself looking at 80s and 90s comics for something to read now. I never thought it would be this way as a kid.

I wasn’t a fan of TMNT before this movie

I am not a typical subscriber (as I do not care for TMNT) but I enjoyed this video. Some more videos like this would be very interesting, and makes me think of all the comic book shops I went to as a kid and how eventually they were converted into vinyl shops or card shops. I am lucky, though, as my local comic book shop is still a comic book shop and I try my best to support him, despite no longer being into comics as I once was.

Where I live in Virginia, there are about 3 good comic shops. 2 in Front Roya, VA and one in Stephens city.

The shops in the ghetto areas are safe there because everyone knows the comics now aren't worth stealing let alone buying, and they likely never sell many comics so the shop will never be robbed. No heroes means no sales, which means no cash in the register, which means no robberies

i remember my comic shop used to be the biggest one in my town in canada it was called comic connection but few years i found out they moved and changed there name they moved inside a smaller place but they still did had a big fine section of comics but it just wasn't big as before because there old location was very big

TMNT guest era is a celebration of comics and comic book creators imho. That’s why to this day any and every artist on the planet would love to do a Turtles story or cover. The current Black, White and Green is indicative of this. Seriously, have you ever heard of anyone saying they don’t like the Turtles and would never work on a story with them in it other than some non-artistic contrarian with a superiority complex? 😂
