This was my very first TMNT issue when I started collecting the Mirage comics, and it is still my all time favorite story. Thank you so much for this video!
It's interesting that the entity that is the spiritual representation of the mammals and also the antagonist of this story is a rat like creature. Also, the mammals seen attacking the Father of Reptiles are also very rat like. The Turtle's mentor Splinter is, of course, also a rat like creature since he was a rat mutated by the same ooze that created the Turtles. Is there perhaps a specific parallel or theme between the mammals and Splinter in this story?
I am a big fan of this story line. But I have to admit that it's primarily because of the art.🤩The story is fine and could have been a bit more narrative for my taste. The ending in particular left me wondering a bit.🤔But maybe I just didn't think hard enough about the topic like you did.😅
According to modern scientists; it was actually birds who ruled the world before mammals, because dinosaurs evolved into birds, and so therefore are apparently not reptiles
Fair enough. However, this series was written in the 80s and 90s and was based off the scientific knowledge of the time. So let's say that within the reality of the TMNT, dinosaurs were reptiles.

Keep up the great work. I love the turtles. Maybe a top best arcs video?

Makes sense
