I'm pretty sure I owned these issues but only ever skimmed them and didn't actually read them. The main problem is that the tone is completely different from the Eastman and Laird Mirage TMNT comics, and that the Turtles aren't the main characters. And the whole "story" is just a bunch of random crazy crap that happens, accomplishing nothing except wasting the reader's time. It really seems like Mark Martin should've been working for Mad magazine.
Pfff... Me costó muchísimo leer éstas historias, no quería pasarlas por alto, pensaba que podrían hacerme gracia en algún punto pero joder, sólo deseaba que terminaran de una santa vez...
I never noticed that the girl's mutant form looks like Joe Eyeball. I wonder if one inspired the other? Otherwise, these issues were indeed awful and should be skipped.
Not like he was still doing any mainstream work by the time he got cancelled. Most guys get one show and that's it. In that regard, he had already "made it"
@@Tatoruzu I mean, John K always was a massive pain that self-sabotaged almost all his works to some degree. The "Cans Without Labels" incident was just the straw that broke the camels back...
Were you guys expecting me to cry and condemn a gay joke written over 30 years ago and give an emotional heartfelt speech about how "it was wrong then and it's wrong now"? Grow up.

Yet still better than Sophia's drek.
Who's Sophia? You mean Ross Campbell?
Actually sounds like a halfway decent Mutanimals premise

So it's pretty much the mirage comics but with 1987 tmnt humor
‘Padding the shit out of the main series because they were too busy cashing cheques
Could you make a video about Usagi Yojimbo and his relation with the turtles? Great video man!

The second cover of the trilogy is so weird. Why is Donnie's mask purple and wtf is he covered in? Cheese?

"He never reached the success of cartoonists like John K..."
Trust me, the last thing a cartoonist now a days wants to be compared to is John K...

You guys think THAT'S bad? Try reading the Hedden and McWeeney-penned issues.
These issues are awful lol😂
The Casey Jones and Raphael spin-off didn't last long. I guessed because nobody liked it's weird art style.
I cant tell if this guy is homophobic or is joking?
Sorta confused myself, but frankly it made me want to stop watching the video, so I did.

Strange, but I can. Maybe problem in you?
Homosexuality is a sin dude. So technically the term homophobic means someone who doesn’t condone sin.
@@Tatoruzu I was just asking jeez you really hate when people have opinions dont you?
