Well I went to Ukraine last month. I was stood up by a girl on pay per letter. I asked them to set me up with another girl who I had never corresponded with. We had dinner and she gave me her personal whatsapp number. We communicate through that. She has never asked for money. She is 21. I am 41. I don't think she would say I am her boyfriend. More someone she is open to a relationship with. In this situation it doesn't feel like a scam. Unless it's just to get a green card.

Over a span of 8 years, 2008-16, i lost over 25k to Ukraine Scam. It's money you'll never get back, just learn from mistakes and don't repeat, because in ukraine you will find no justice. These scammers wouldn't be in business if they knew they couldn't get away with the con. I nearly could've got imprisonment in Russia because of a Ukrianian scammer, I trespassed a military base when I was supposed to go on a second date. That's probably close to the most horrible result of being scammed over there.

Olga probably lives with her Ukrainian boyfriend/fiance/husband. 8 out of 10 times, the lady in the picture is not with a foreign man. Paying matchmakers is risky, and the safest option is to do the dirty work ourselves. Excuses from the lady or matchmaker are very often a red flag. An honest woman would never make excuses. She would offer an alternative meeting time if something comes up. I have a personal rule: ALL communication happens directly from day one, and ALL meetings are planned without ANY third-party involvement. PPL sites and matchmakers are like shark-infested waters.

At least 95% of the time, if not 99%. If the men's stomachs are squirming, they should reconsider her as an option. You probably dislike this from a business standpoint, but investigators would not be needed for these purposes if men trusted their instincts.

1:00 Buddy, these are all good advices but even then everything can go SOUTH!!! I was using one BS agency where I was meeting 8 women, then when the dates for my trip got closer and I started getting suspicious, I recruited another so called legit agency that was approved by serious people and what not!! I thought I would at least have 2 or 3 more options with that other agency and while in Europe I contacted yet another one as all my leads magically DIED! I tried with yet another 2 women from that boutique agency, all women were fake as well! So with all due respect as you are ukrainian too, I'm guessing it's a nationality problem more than an "agency problem" in the end! There's pretty much no way to win!
