    So no NAZI's in Ukraine then? Even the Western media (prior to the outbreak of the war) recognised this was a huge issue. So 2014 was a "revolution" and had nothing to do with the US, even though they (Nuland) were caught discussing who would be the new President.

    The church discriminated against Colin. It drives me mad when someone is doing volunteer work and are told they can't help out just because they are gay. How absurd and hypocritical.

  • @resurrectionnerd
    @resurrectionnerd วันที่ผ่านมา

    1 Cor 15 is actually evidence _against_ the Resurrection. It reads _"Jesus appeared (ὤφθη) to them and appeared (ὤφθη) to me last."_ Well, according to the New Testament the "appearance" to Paul was a vision after Jesus had already ascended to heaven. So we can deduce that "visions" (experiences that don't necessarily have anything to do with reality) were accepted as "appearances" of the Risen Jesus. Since Paul uses the same verb and makes no distinction, this makes the nature of the appearances ambiguous in our earliest source. Appealing to the gospels and Acts tacitly concedes 1 Cor 15, on its own is ambiguous.

    There is no "factual bedrock" to christianity. At all. It is only a story concocted by greco-Jewsdesperatefor a new means of sin remisson after the temple destruction and sin forgivness became impossible. Christianity is a fusion of theJudaic messiah motif with the Greek mystery cult/personalsvior god motifs all around the Jews inthe empire at the time. Cults and motifsthey'd been enamoured with and flirting with for generations. Apologistsstill do not grasp that preceding by taking the bible story as granted is a DOA approach. People do not come back from the dead. Ever. No one, not one, ever.

    On the free will discussion... If the universe is predetermined and we have no free will, society as a whole is predetermined right? And if so, it would mean that our collective decisions won't change if we know that fact. I've listened to Robert Saplosky who wrote a book on this and I still don't understand what he means when he states that we have no free will. I heard Dr. Steven Novella on the Skeptics Guide to the Universe podcast suggest that our decisions are based on how much energy it takes to act them out. The decision that will take less energy will win out. But that isn't always the case because I think that I've made decisions that have taken more energy reluctantly.

    The slaves brought out of Egypt never served as God's slaves. You make a ridiculous point. God did set requirements around owning slaves. He did this to set limitations. Remember, at this time, for God to set limitations on slaves would have been outlandish, because current culture allowed people to do whatever they wanted with their slaves. God set limitations. This benefitted slaves. God normally did not intervene with free will. Today, he still allows murder, rape, theft, slavery & much more. HE STILL ALLOWS IT. God allowed the holocaust to happen to his own people. That does not mean he ever condoned it. God does not condone slavery. God has never condoned sin. But he allows man to choose sin. We live in a sinful world of free will....and often people choose sin.

    • @DeepDrinks
      @DeepDrinks 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      At the same time that God was “setting limitations” other cultures didn’t have slavery (Jains, Australian Aboriginals etc) other nations had more restrictions on slavery (Code of Hammurabi). If God can command that people are not to pick up sticks on the sabbath or eat bacon, he can command that they should also not to OWN ANOTHER HUMAN BEING AS PROPERTY. I think more of your God than you do

    • @kbw6917
      @kbw6917 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@DeepDrinks You are not understanding free will. He tells those born of God to love one another. He does not advocate for owning slaves, but allows for free will which includes slave ownership. There are slaves today. God is still allowing it. People, likewise, don't have to follow sabbath rules. Free will. God hates the sin in the world. Could he stop it all? Yes. But then no one would have free will. He would rather we choose to be his children than be forced into it like robots. You don't think very highly of God, at all.(Lying is also a sin).

    Wait, tell me again why you should be believed over someone who not only is giving resources for people to learn for themselves with a community of instructors? You say that the tragedies are fiction yet believe unwaveringly in the Bible? Why don't you give some classes or point to the resources to validate your claims? Why is it that quite literally every main stream academic achievement of the modern age was rooted in the classical eras writings, not only on arts, and philosophy, but also including the advanced mathematics that have led to the technological booms of the last century? What is it exactly that dogma provides over open source information? Can you answer any of these above questions? Or are you too busy reading secret documents that the slave caste are not worthy of? Please, give back to the normal poor peasant folk. Distribute some of your sacred intellect so me may be so blessed by your generous nature. Unless we're all just lesser beings like the Hebrew texts state they believe. Then by all means, keep being the ubermensch, adolf. Better not cast pearls to the swine, they might consume them without knowing they can make good money off of them!!

    Average Ukrainian never wanted to fight Russia but the Western Ukrainians who worship nationalist criminals like Bandera or Shukevich will have to forget about their nazi ideology and it will not be difficult: you can't find a city in Germany where a street would be named after a nazi leader but in Ukraine the reverse is true: you can't find a city without a street of square not named after a Ukrainian nazi leader - denazification of Western Ukraine that is what Russia wants.

    Well there lots of data supporting that ancient Hebreic culture was heavily influenced from Greek from Plato's Timaeus to the Bacci mysteries from Crete forming the many foundations of Hebrew later Judaism. Much of Hebraic law, for example is directly from Greek literature. There are lots of scholars not only Hillman like Russsel Gmirkin and others who present many cogent salient arguments in support. Most important is how this hockey puck condemns himself @ 8:00 into the interview. Quote: "I am certain that the Septuagint is a translation of these Greek originals". He should have said these Hebrew originals. According to Freud, this slip of the tongue is proof he doesn't believe what he's saying. In other words, he's lying. Further, the host is so vacant himself that he doesn't even pick up the mistake. I cannot vouge for all the statements Hillman makes, however, the critique offered in this video is not credible in my view. It comes across as shallow focusing on character issues rather than arguing the prose more specifically.

    Sounds like all the writers in the bible were on drugs too! After all, they all saw the visions. mmmmmm...I am going with the Greek over Hebrew. Mythology characters overlay the bible characters. Medea (Queen Athaliah) ran her country for 6 years...Corinthians killed her kids and they blamed her and then killed her. She was a healer and she is in the bible...yet she is a mythology goddess as well. Sounds like the patriarchs took out the Women rulers and did some major concealment with the old books...even made their own bibles that project hate toward women. Truth is the way. Battling and degrading others is not the way. (This is why people turn away from the so called Christians). Division is not the answer.
