I read the entire KJV (apocrypha included) because I wanted to read classic English literature. Having read all of Shakespeare. Am I the only atheist King James onlyist?

That’s great! I purchased myself the 400 year replica of the first edition KJV, it’s a like for like replication, spelling mistakes and printing errors included.

🧙‍♂ While an example of some beautiful English, the KJV is definitely not perfect, as Neal explains. I read God's Secretaries by Adam Nicolson a number of years ago which is a great little book about creating that Bible.

It definitely isn’t, there are alterations in that bible which isn’t in other versions, and if God allowed one of the most popular english bibles to be wrong then how can christians claim it’s divinely protected then
1 John 5:7 KJV
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
1 John 5:7-8 Codex Sianaticus translated
For they that testify are three,
the Spirit, and the water, and the blood, and the three are one.
So not only did it change the verses but they are out of order now, and this is supposedly protected by God

Finally being done with religion. I don’t believe the Bible pass a museum artifact! It’s Great!!!! I have tons of anger with Jehovah witnesses for the lies! I realize religion is letting someone else decide. I can do that
