Thank you so very much for these poses. I have fairly extreme trochanteric bursitis and your stretches have helped far more than any of the dozens I’ve tried on TH-cam. And I feel hope for the first time in a while. I do them 2-3 times a day and the change has been incredible. Thank you so much for that.
I just found this TH-cam channel a few weeks ago and started with the supine routine for hip pain and bursitis. Doing this every morning, I felt some relief in pain, but you never realize how much you are improving. The last year or so it was hard to put on socks and shoes. Now? A piece of cake! Totally easy! Hip pain is decreasing as I do it every day. I am now adding this routine as I believe it is exactly the bursitis that bothers me. First day done! Will continue every day. It is such a relief to not only have the pain diminish but also more flexibility. Thank you so much!

Fantastic! I have copd, and I can't do lying exercises because lying down and moving takes my breath; however, I can do these! I have hip bursitis bilaterally, and I need something to help deal with the pain so I can sleep at night. I really appreciate that you show the exercises so well and describe them so thoroughly. Thank you so much! I tried this one today and will try the chair routine tomorrow. These are all helping me so much. I noticed today that I could cross my left leg over my right knee almost 100% to the pigeon pose, something that I couldn't have done even a few days ago.
This is just what i needed, I'm doing the supine and seated exercises every day and my hip pain is so much better. But these standing exercises I can do at work. Love it. Thank you so much. Love all your routines and just send the fibromyalgia exercise to my friend. I hope he will try it. X

I just did two of your hip bursitis routines and loved them! You have such a calming and relaxing voice. Is it normal for it to hurt the outside of my hip while doing pigeon?
I'm so glad you enjoy them, thanks for practicing with me! I wouldn't say that it's 'normal' to feel pain anywhere - certainly that's a common area to feel tightness in when in pigeon pose (most of us do!), but if it's outright pain then that's usually an indication that we've gone a little too far past our point of comfort. Try backing out of it a bit or adding a cushion underneath the glute to see if you can find a variation that will work better for you. I hope that helps!
I have osteoarthritis in my hips and knees do you think this would help? I have osteoporosis in my spine Aldo so I have to watch what exercises I do. I'm doing your osteoporosis exercise video and I really enjoy it.

I'm afraid I can't say whether this would specifically help with arthritis in the hips and knees, but it's certainly a great way to give some attention to those areas, and strengthening them would be a good thing. I have been suffering from bursitis hip pain for 8 months pt not working.I was unable to do her seated or supine bursitis videos too painful, so I found this one today and I can do this one without pain. I will do it everyday and hopefully will get some relief. Ill update my comment in one month with my progress.
Update:I've been doing this video for 3 weeks nearly everyday. It is great! Reduced my pain when pt couldn't. It also feels good while doing it and after. I highly recommend! Thank you Joelle😊

Thank you so much! I tried this one today and will try the chair routine tomorrow. These are all helping me so much. I noticed today that I could cross my left leg over my right knee almost 100% to the pigeon pose, something that I couldn't have done even a few days ago.

This is just what i needed, I'm doing the supine and seated exercises every day and my hip pain is so much better.

Thanks Joelle....great practice. I have bursitis in my right hip so I'm trying everything I can to get relief & you've made a big difference. I still don't have the strength or balance for the reach forward move, I still have to hold on. But I do feel I'm getting stronger. Thank you😊

This is amazing! My hips get super tight from sitting at work and doing my (time of month) and this really helped!! And an epsom salt soak after---10/10!!

I just did two of your hip bursitis routines and loved them! You have such a calming and relaxing voice. Is it normal for it to hurt the outside of my hip while doing pigeon?
I'm so glad you enjoy them, thanks for practicing with me! I wouldn't say that it's 'normal' to feel pain anywhere - certainly that's a common area to feel tightness in when in pigeon pose (most of us do!), but if it's outright pain then that's usually an indication that we've gone a little too far past our point of comfort. Try backing out of it a bit or adding a cushion underneath the glute to see if you can find a variation that will work better for you. I hope that helps!
I have osteoarthritis in my hips and knees do you think this would help? I have osteoporosis in my spine Aldo so I have to watch what exercises I do. I'm doing your osteoporosis exercise video and I really enjoy it.

I'm afraid I can't say whether this would specifically help with arthritis in the hips and knees, but it's certainly a great way to give some attention to those areas, and strengthening them would be a good thing. I have been suffering from bursitis hip pain for 8 months pt not working.I was unable to do her seated or supine bursitis videos too painful, so I found this one today and I can do this one without pain. I will do it everyday and hopefully will get some relief. Ill update my comment in one month with my progress.

Update:I've been doing this video for 3 weeks nearly everyday. It is great! Reduced my pain when pt couldn't. It also feels good while doing it and after. I highly recommend! Thank you Joelle😊
