He is %100 correct..Thats the reason you see high end cars with MOSTLY JL an Focal pure clarity, precision and efficiency..JL perfected more bass in small space at a factory level 20+ years ago....you never went wrong With a loaded JL enclosure with Amp..Kicker followed shortly after..

There are many brands that do the same rated at differ ohm loads...technology for it has been around for years...jus gota know what to look for and not buy into hype...jl is good...but with all the other reputable options out there...save some money and do research...on another note..amp technology wont stop a poor electrical system...100amps of current is 100amps of current regaurdless of amplifire topology...ALWAYS do electrical upgrades first before you run anything...even entry level

Hi Shawn, I have a Volvo xc40, and I can’t find a installer in the DFW area; has your shop integrated a sub n amp into one of these cars with the H&K from the factory? And if so, what converters and integrators did you use to connect it?
I am looking to add 2x 8”s or 1x 10” in a sealed box for low extension and a bit more punch.

the JL amps have been dynoed...comparatively they pull the same amount of amperage as almost all other amplifiers... sorry....but they do NOT pull up to 60 % less.....

I think the Down4 sound amps are better and cooler looking a lot more power for not so much money

Do not trust a word coming out of this dude's mouth. Do some of your own research. These are just a good Class D amp. But it is still a Class D amp.

That's right, Class D = more efficient. AB amps are great and have greater fidelity overall... but Class D tends to have the best of all worlds. I don't understand your trust issues.

I was thinking the exact same thing when he said holy grail of amplifiers. He didn’t even mention fosgate, crossfire, DC Audio, American Bass, DD Audio, and he barely mentioned sundown. That’s how you know he’s tryna market to people who have no idea. And he mentioned the big 3 like that was a bad thing. 🤦🏾‍♂️ guys like this give car audio a bad name. He’s obviously on bullshit.
