I've been a fan of Star Wars for 25 years, and this film blew me away. This was a fantastic film, and I'm really excited to go see what else you have. Thanks for keeping my favorite galaxy far, far away alive.
Can we all just stop to appreciate that the one baddie thought to shoot the Padawan with three blasts at the same time so that they would be so much less likely to all be blocked? His plan would fail if the Padawan pressured them at all, but I have to admire when the villains possess some level of critical thinking. I also found it to be a nice surprise that when the officer reported to the inquisitor that the Padawan was missing, but trackable, he was not dressed down and stabbed in a fit of rage, but instead given the benefit of the doubt. The writing was very good throughout. I hope you get to make part III. I'll be here when you do.
I gave this a thumbs down simply because of the writing and directing. If your at war hunting “rebels” you don’t go off chasing them because a person who pops up out of nowhere says “they’re behind you”. Ya kill them dead. You don’t say “fire on my command”. This is Star Wars. Big screen energy. A story of it's own right. About a Jedi torn between the light and dark. Who's old friends come back to haunt and hunt him. That moment when the Inquisitor insists he battle him. And how he leaves him behind. Revealing that the Inquisitor does not want it to end. And throw in the tough gal that reminds me or Ripley from the Alien saga. A masterpiece. Waiting for a third.....
This is so good!! Incredibly thankful for the opportunity to have worked on this project with you!! The film score is outstanding, cinematography is beautiful and the storytelling is great, amazing job!!
A huge thank you to everyone who worked on this film. You have made a great contribution to the Star Wars fandom. I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience the film on the big screen with you in Odense... I will certainly do my part of sharing this with the rest of the Star Wars community around the world! Again Thank you.
This 'short' film is absolutely outstanding!!! And yeah, I gotta agree with that person who was praising the choreo of the duels - those were seriously well done; so fluid and exciting. You all did an amazing job, and I really hope there is more to come!
Yeah, this was Theatrical Quality Filming with highly believable acting and absolutely Phenomenal Graphics. I have to admit, this was outstanding. Everyone of you must take a Bow. You seriously earned it, as far as I'm concerned. STANDING OVATION!!!!!
You know how I know this is good ?... Because I'm 5 minutes in and I'm feeling my inner Jedi awaken... Not one Disney Star Wars movie has done that for me.
This was great. Speaking as a life long Star Wars fan, I truly enjoyed this, as well as part one. That being said please continue the story. Or perhaps a new one. Thank you again to everyone involved. Thank you for keeping the real Star Wars spirit alive.
I first saw this about six months ago and was happy to have TH-cam recommend it again. What's incredible about this isn't just that it's engaging and well made but that Disney seems to have forgotten how to do any of this. Even simple stuff like the star destroyer looming over the antagonist at 44:42 is the kind of impactful visual story-telling seems to be lost. Fantastic work!
Great work guys! Immediately recognised the Danish coastline with the distinguished WW II Bunkers. They fit perfectly into the Star Wars universe. The acting was absolutely brilliant! Camera filter true to Rogue One and modern Star Wars. All the best from Germany!
The scene where the Imperials land on dantooine matched tit for tat with the opening scenes of Rogue One. Also the Dantooine environments of Clone Wars 2003 (the battle of Mace Windu against the super battle droids and the earthquake machines) and the Dantooine environment of this fanfilm are an exact match!
The quality of this film is unlike any fan film I've ever seen. The acting, the music and filmmaking are amazing! I'm so glad I got this recommended to me! :)
G'Day, I was in my mid 20's when I first found Star Wars, now in my mid 70's, I want to thank everybody who worked on this,I have finaly found something worth watching, I hope there is another chapter to this Saga, and I hope I will be here to see it!
Seriously. This has more heart, more respect for every character, and greater attention to detail than the freaking Obi-wan show. When unnamed minor characters are given little moments of heroism, the villains feel like people, and so much energy is put into the combat, you know you've found a gem. And multiple strong examples of emotion and conflict being conveyed without needing dialogue. Love it. The first in this series was surprisingly good, and you've upped your game tremendously.
Personally, I'm quite impressed with the characters' accents. I mean, their Danish accents sometimes shine through - the two male leads are very obviously from Copenhagen, and the female lead probably from Eastern Europe (most likely Bulgaria), but in most shots, they do a pretty good job of it.
This was much better than the last three Disney efforts. OK - not including Rogue One, which was fabulous!! But the JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson mistakes were monumental flops!! Again - this was marvelous!! Thank you!!
I could go on and on about everything that was done right with this film. Instead I will simply give it my personal comment: This was really fucking cool. Well done!!!
WOW this was the best fan production i've ever seen! Over 50 mins hollywoodlike work. Every little thing was nearly perfect. Great effects, cast, choreography, set up, music, story, sound edit... Please go on making such a good work! I hope Disney will honor this one time! May the force be with you!!! 👍👏🖖😁

IM-PRE-SSI-VE!! Superb in so many ways! Music, locations, photograpy, that ships so real, the light on them,.... and a villain, oh my gosh, so... villain!! Good job, crew!!
This was a top notch fan film. It had that “feeling of Star Wars”. I’m not a producer or director, only a novice. But I do understand that great efforts went into putting this together…and not for money, but simply for the love of it. Thank you! #Starwars #Fanfilm.
Simply said, this is the only proof I need to see that demonstrates money isn't what makes something good. The passion and joy of making this short were evident! Disney could take a few lessons from you guys! Well done!
This was an incredibly well done fan film from the writing, to the acting, quality of cinematography (it was filmed using Arri Cameras), the CGI and SFX to the musical scoring. I wished that the powers that be at CBS-Paramount were as accepting and encouraging of fan film production for Star Trek as is Disney with Star Wars. High quality fan films such as this, add to the overall quality of each fictional world rather than take away. I really enjoyed this piece.
I'm super impressed with this! I did notice one little flaw. Two sets of tracks heading east, while he was carrying her unconscious body over his shoulders.
Fantastic short. My wife and I jumped when we saw the second part. Lightsaber was better than any of the last three SW movies. The story is complex and you find yourself wondering what is going to happen. All to often you know the outcome very early on in movies, not this one. Sure sign of outstanding care in the script. We very much appreciate everyone’s hard work. Thank you.
Fans like you are the reason why I still love Star Wars. Despite the Empire of Disney and all its crimes against integrity and good taste. May the force be with you! Always!

This is how a proper Star Wars film is done, respecting the lore and mythos. Nothing Disney can ever produce can come close. Much respect. Keep on rockin'! 🤘
Heroes have to develop first. It would be boring if you already had everything under control. That's why the "good guys" always have a hard time as actors compared to the "bad guys".

This is the tone the next Star Wars must follow. Brilliant job all around ! Score, dialogue, acting, camera everything! Can't wait for the next installment
Wow! I am still picking my jaw off the floor. The special effect were really great but where is really shone was the story writing and acting. I liked there was a lot of travel time walking through forests and other environments that gave you a chance to get to know the characters. It did not feel rushed and had a very good story arc which really left things open for a sequel. Great job and I look forward to seeing more in the future.
Fantastic work!! I've enjoyed each second of this. Many years waiting for this sequel, but it was worth the wait. VFX, acting, fighting scenes and music are flawless. Congratulations!!
I've just discovered this film and after watching it, I am just gobsmacked. I've been a Star Wars fan since I was four years in 1977 and this film, to me, has more heart and dedication to Star Wars than anything Disney has produced (with the exception of Rogue One). This is a phenomenal production and I can only but take my hat off to everyone involved in it. Bravo!!
This is professional level work. If Disney releases it on its channel, nobody would notice a difference. Congratulations and thanks for the hard work! And I hope you got the Arri cameras rent for free.
@ The new trilogy is so bad, I truly dont know What words I can use to describe it. I am 100% certain that you either know, or very easily could learn How bad they actually are, but for me personally the absolute worst part is that Star Wars became boring. And not only is the whole story and missions we see on screen boring, the characters are boring too, or straight up just bad. But if you enjoy it I am happy for you. The part about it being bad, is objectively true. The part I said about it being boring is just my opinion, so if you actually enjoy the movies continue doing it, but please dont argue that the quality of the movies is good.

Waiting for a third.....
...and I realised from this movie, just now after all decades, how useless Light Sabres would be against a projectile machine gun.
Masterful score; clear, unified direction and believable acting throughout. Thank you, one and all !!!
This is one of the best fan films I have ever seen
Wow so funny I tought already this was in Denmark. Because the have bunkers on the beach
That was the finest lightsaber battle choreography I've ever seen in a fan made film. Kudos and thank you.
Looks like the Dutch poeple it's not wurt fighting for. 😅 Why we have army we don't need it 🤣
The ending on the beach elevated it to another level for me. Rather, the entire beach part. Great location, sunset was amazing. Great job.
A "Short" Star Wars Story. You guys did an outstanding job on this. 10/10
A wonderful story being a Star Wars fan I really enjoyed it thank you
The fact this is a fan made film is insane! Congrats!
The first film was good, but baby steps. THIS one is a fully matured masterpiece!
This was much better than the last three Disney efforts. OK - not including Rogue One, which was fabulous!! But the JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson mistakes were monumental flops!!
Again - this was marvelous!! Thank you!!
I love when a fan film has better fight choreography than a multi million dollar industry studio. Very well done to all involved!!
dude got a light saber in the peni
The characters are as amazing as I am
They are lucky disney's not suing them
Me too big mouth
actualy they not but interestingly stupid
Love the music, the acting, the setting, the story and all of the little details! IT’S AWESOME….
Last Padawan I: A good short film
Last Padawan II: Catching up with Lucasfilm
Last Padawan III: Disney+ Original Series
No Disney+ original pls. The mouse is evil.
Why would u ruin a perfectly good movie ?
Last Padawan II is actually Lucasfilm. This is proper SW.
@@davematkins6829 you underestimate the power of money on poor people.
Why would there be a third one the padawan got beat to death
I could go on and on about everything that was done right with this film. Instead I will simply give it my personal comment: This was really fucking cool. Well done!!!
WOW this was the best fan production i've ever seen! Over 50 mins hollywoodlike work. Every little thing was nearly perfect. Great effects, cast, choreography, set up, music, story, sound edit... Please go on making such a good work! I hope Disney will honor this one time!
May the force be with you!!! 👍👏🖖😁
"Master, this is gold for the entire force!" Thats the description for this short movie. CONGRATULATIONS!!
Absolutely a fantastic short story, excellently scripted, put together and most of all made by a true fan of Star Wars!
This is incredible! If you had told me this was a real star wars film, I would have believed it! Great job to everyone on the team, you will all go very far.
Best fan star wars film I ever seen, everything that happened was so damn unexpected, sometimes you rarely see these days as you can predict what's gonna happen
This is superb. Congrats to all involved. What an "Empire" like finish to the 2nd Act. I hope this is a trilogy.
Always!
FIGHTMEFIGHTMEFIGHTMEFIGHTFIGHTME FIGHT MEEEEEEE!!!
Lol good editing, good story, extremely good effects, nice choreography, and decent use of cheesy dialogue moments mixed in with some really surprisingly good acting and casting choices.
Well done
Holy Yoda! I love the Inquisitor! Huge applause to the actor and whoever wrote his lines. The delivery was sooo good. He's a great villain to love and respect!
Much heart, much soul, much love in this piece, love the music
This is really outstanding. Hard to believe it's a non-commercial production. Amazing!
Wow, den kan man se igen og igen, så flot en historie, skuespillerne gør det super flot, vild med “lokation” og musikken topper det hele af.
27:55 Perfectly placed, loved the little touch of humor all over the movie! You did an outstanding job in a very short amount of time.
or how to turn star wars into another stupid marvel movie. could have puked at those "funny" scenes.
@@mongobertproductions-mp87 Cool
Wow, really well done! Everyone involved should be very proud of this project and how it's turned out. Excellent indie Star Wars film!
Hold the phone! That was Superb. As a Buddhist trained in the Art of Peace as well as the Art of War & a fan of the Star Wars cannon, this needs to be a movie or at the very lest an episode of the series Kenobi. Thank you for bringing this magic to life!
This felt like an actual Star Wars movie 🤩 WOW …. just WOW 💪🏻
One of the few times I enjoyed the main let alone any character. Distressed clothes and well put together outfit, and not some plain clean shaven short haired guy. Very well done, I wasn’t bored, and had a good story
This is by far one of the greatest Star Wars fan films I've ever seen ! the quality of the film is like nothing I've seen before! I mean all the acting and the music and the vfx are really great! im so happy that im watching this. thanks foe creating this AWESOME fan film!
From an old school avid SW fan: Bravo! Superb! Excellent! Please make more.
This is incredible. For all that volunteered/worked on this film, you gave millions of people great entertainment.
That shot at 38:47 is BEAUTIFUL. Could be ripped straight out of the movies.
Are you kidding me with this? ARE YOU KIDDING? This is fantastic.... The level of detail up to and including the acting, is just incredible. The music - subtle to the point you *almost* don't notice it, but when you do, it hits pretty hard.
This is an incredible piece of work. Outstanding.....
I very much enjoyed your film. Wow! So well done. I have been a SW fan since the first film came out when I started high school back in 77. I have never lost my enthusiasm for all things Star Wars. I have eagerly watched as many have put their heart and soul into expanding the universe and honoring all that has gone before. At this point in my opinion you have delivered one of the best I have seen thus far. I hope you continue to work on new content and I hope you get the notoriety and respect that you deserve. Thank you for all of your hard work... it really shows!
This is absolutely amazing. Easily the best Star Wars fan film ever made. ❤
wow, wow, wow. this is SOOOOO good. looked incredible, the sets, costumes, fx, performances. honestly, wow, i didn't think something like this was possible. better than most of the disney shows. going into my personal canon. amazing work Rebels.
SPOILERS!
so glad you brought back that inquisitor! that dudes soooooooooooo good. He needs to be canon. what a performance, holy crow.
nitpick: why wouldn't she want the jedi to leave asap? sooner he leaves, the sooner the inquisitor is gone
WHAT A SUPERB EXCELLENT HOB YOU HAVE DONE MAKING THIS! I'M 65 AND AM STILL A HUGE FAN OF ANYTHING STAR-WARS! AS AN OLDER FAN I SAW EVERY RELEASE OF ALL STAR WARS FILMS. I HOPE LUCAS FILMS ARE SERIOUSLY INTERESTED IN YOUR WORK! GOD BLESS AND "MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU ALL!
May the forcé be with you comrade
Jesper! This was incredible, one of the best Star Wars fan films to date and it takes my number 1 spot. Amazing job from everyone involved. The story, the characters, the passion, the locations, the cinematography, the visual effects; everything pulled together to make a perfect Star Wars story. You should all be extremely proud of what you've created and given to the Star Wars community. I hope there's another one on the cards and if so, I cannot wait to support you on the journey! May the force be with you all.
Waow... such a blast, especially the music !!! J. Williams style, perfecty matched, but at the same time without overdoing it, the quality of the soundtrack, how it matches the modd and action... impressibe. The artistic direction is also so good, the scenaries are awesome. Amazing job guys !
The music is actually really good!
This is how a proper Star Wars film is done, respecting the lore and mythos. Nothing Disney can ever produce can come close. Much respect. Keep on rockin'! 🤘
The guy who played as an inquisitor was really good at his role as well as the dude who played the jedi. And the lil group of misfits/refugees.
Heroes have to develop first. It would be boring if you already had everything under control.
That's why the "good guys" always have a hard time as actors compared to the "bad guys".
Gave me a real Jerec vibe even though I know he isn’t. Very good character for a fan film!
@@KnifeyKnifeyBrothers Why couldnt he be Jerec ? Hes look and acting would absolutelly fit. Havent read anything about Jerec except for the Jedi Knight game so for me this could fit as his prequel.
@@ondrejm5042 kinda impossible as Jerec is not really human, he's miraluka, they're born without eyes
So worth the years of blood, sweat and tears. Hope I get to work on episode III with you!
Wow. The production value of this is off the charts. The acting and saber choreography are phenomenal. Costumes and special effects are top notch. Amazing work.
This is the tone the next Star Wars must follow. Brilliant job all around ! Score, dialogue, acting, camera everything! Can't wait for the next installment
I really enjoyed this Video. great work by all involved. Thank you! May the force be with you
Well done with the script, acting, editing, music, and special effects! Thank you for producing and publishing this fan film for everyone to enjoy.
As well, no overacting, smooth scene transitions, good outfit details, also a good director and camera person for those smooth shots
I love it, when fans without a big budget create something on this level, 'just' by stsrting out with a good idea and having a lot of passion
The production quality is insane and I enjoyed every minute of this film.
I'm blown away by the quality of this production!! I'd like to give a firm handshake to whoever handled the color grading. Absolutely stunning
Absolutely stunning in every aspect. I just wanna say thank you, for this great journey
Your movie invoke feelings that Disney Star Wars movies fail so hard to deliver. Unprecedently good. Thank you for your hard work and dedication!
I don't even need to mention that this is better than sequel trilogy, really good!
don't be stupid lol
@ he’s not wrong
@@captainfordo2145 sure buddy
@ The new trilogy is so bad, I truly dont know What words I can use to describe it. I am 100% certain that you either know, or very easily could learn How bad they actually are, but for me personally the absolute worst part is that Star Wars became boring. And not only is the whole story and missions we see on screen boring, the characters are boring too, or straight up just bad. But if you enjoy it I am happy for you. The part about it being bad, is objectively true. The part I said about it being boring is just my opinion, so if you actually enjoy the movies continue doing it, but please dont argue that the quality of the movies is good.
@ sorry bro.
The sequels are dog water compared to fan films.
You guys did a stellar job, and have every right to have pride in the work done here. Thank you for your efforts. ::EDIT:: great composition. Camera work is outstanding. Highest praise to the technical team.
This fan made film is so top notch it's unreal. Great work everyone!
Everything from start to finish here is remarkable!
I went to your composers sight to listen to more...just fantastic....eat your heart out John Williams and other great composers. They wont see this guy coming.
Your direction in the first AND this sequel are top notch.
I would list my favorite scenes, but there are so many, along with the great acting, I almost feel guilty watching it for free!!
I AM going to watch everything that youve done.
Your amazing and Thank you.❤
It was a great fan production😊
