FALL OF THE JEDI: A Single Film Star Wars Prequel Edit
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 8 ก.พ. 2025
- With this edit I attempted to distill the Star Wars prequels down to a single movie, that if viewed for the first time would stand on its own and make complete sense to the viewer. My goal was to present the story of Anakin Skywalker in the style of a Shakespearean tragedy, while bending Anakin's character arc from the self serving whiner in the original, to a man corrupted by vaulting ambition and immense power.
I recommend viewing FALL OF THE JEDI after episodes IV and V, as if it's an extended flashback, before finishing the Anakin Skywalker saga with RETURN OF THE JEDI.
I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I did editing it!
lol having no context for a kid fighter pilot is great
Lmao couldn't stop laughing as soon as I saw that😂😂😂
@@you_madRolling credits are about Padme's assassination then they start with the battle at the end of phantom menace
@iamukasa lmao the whole movie has me in tears, it's hilarious how badly done it was
Lol starting Ani in the cockpit with no context is a huge "wtf is a child doing in a war zone?" moment
I watch it like I've never seen Star Wars before, and I was telling myself, who is this kid and laughing my ass off

Why did you cut "What About The Droid Attack on the Wookiees"
That is a key point of the whole franchise
Patrick Star He's right, it's a system they couldn't afford to lose.
It actually brings nothing to the Skywalker / Jedi narrative. It was useless.
@ mglmousers joke went over your head as well...WOOOOOOSH.
Probably because they didn't have good relations with the Wookies
because he is an idiot
Having the first scene be Maul vs Obi Wan and Qui Gon was genius could you imagine going to see that in cinemas and this being the first scene
Building up to that point made it way cooler for me.... we didn't even get to see the iconic part where he surprises you with the double blade
Also we have no idea who Qui-gon is and how pivotal his death affects Anakin’s training.
@@heckr0125 or anakin's childhood as a slave, and his attachment to his mother which was like, you know, a big deal
It's a fun idea for an edit that just wouldn't work in reality
This is horrible. How can you start the movie with the finale? Not to mention a snot nosed kid flying a fighter with no explanation
"and make complete sense to the viewer." The cut is so rough that if you are not a fan you will not get it at all.
Bro, the only reason "we" are here is bc we are fans. I want to watch a 2 hour edited cut from someone else's pov. I'm glad that corny stuff got cut

Fantastic. And you're right to say this should be viewed after Empire. Watching this story before the others ruins not only the surprise about Vader, but also the surprise about Yoda. People forget that his reveal was a surprise, too. This was a badly made trilogy, but it had some great elements that could be distilled into a good flashback. Well done.
I'm so engrossed watching this I forgot it's a full prequel edit. I felt like I was watching a single new film. Brilliant editing. I love it.
I've seen the prequels and this edit made absolutely no sense
Why would you not show Anakin slaughtering the Sand People? That was pivotal in demonstrating his rage and anger that made him prime target for Palpatine's manipulations.
Exactly...I stoped watching there.
End Of Fate same here. Lost interest after that.
guys he shows it like 5 minutes after would, this is supposed to be a neo noir take of star wars not the anger action fulled one
Guro Jerome Teague I think the same thing
its in the other one that goes in chronic-logical order.
Well done! Simply well done. You have an extraordinary artistic talent. Can't imagine the amount of time it took to put this together.
I think it relied too much on the audience having seen the prequels as they are already. Right from the start, there's no reason for kid Anakin to be in one of the Naboo Starfighters. Some of the other leaps in narrative rely on the audience being aware of what was edited out.
It's a valiant effort and herculean task, regardless. I applaud the work put into it.
By far my FAVORITE departure was the use of the sequel trailer music over the ending montage.
Anakin makes sense flying the Starfighter. It demonstrates the early rambunctious and strong willed, forward-moving character of our later fallen hero. A perfect introduction to the same character who frequently finds himself in those kinds of situations. Well done Greg. I enjoyed this!
It would work better, perhaps, if Anakin was already at Hayden's age in that scene. We know from the OT that Anakin was a great star pilot, so it makes sense to show him in at the action from the start. It's nice that Anakin mentions Qui Gon and then we cut to Qui Gon in the saber fight.
Agreed

just amazing, not enough words to describe to perfectly you combines 3 movies into 1
The amount of effort put into this should be appreciated.
Seeing how you were able to knock out 90% of Anikan's horrible acting and still make this a quality mash up of the first three episodes is quite a feat. Well done.
These are good people Padme. You’ll be safe.” Hey Anikan they didn’t keep your mama safe.
> distilled version that would "stand on its own and make complete sense to the viewer"
> begins with a child in the middle of a space dogfight
Thank you for this videos you’re the best because I love anakin saga and almost the Star Wars saga!
I've never thought about it but YES, it is very Shakespearean!
The segment following 1:30:00 I think is some wonderful editing. Here we see a real threat, Palpatine, the dark lord of the sith, and we feel the menace there, then right after we see the Jedi winning. Without grievous there is a lack of threat from the opposition, a real sense the war is ramping down, which is seen in their victories and battles, but something feels off, as the audience knows that a larger threat is still out there, that everything is about to go wrong; so the somewhat menacing music fits perfectly to those battles. Well done.
I am at the beginning of episode 3 rn, and so far I love it. Great job!!!!
15:22 "Don't forget: she's a politician and they are not to be trusted." Sage, Obi-Wan.
Say what you want this edit is definitely not for new viewers of the trilogy, i happened to enjoy this. Some parts i wish weren't cut but oh well i didn't make this. Good job editor!
This helped me sleep well, and with am added woodie when i woke up. Must be the force.
The force is strong with this one😂
The ending was far superior (both music & timing)
IMO, the only reason this version "works" is because the intended viewers have already seen the prequels in their original form. A good test would be to show this cut to someone who has never seen the prequels before. If it makes sense to an impartial audience, it works great. Otherwise, I love it. Brilliant work.
I've never seen them, and it makes sense to me. The problem is that everything about the Star Wars universe is awful, because hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a blaster at your side. There is too much nonsense in the whole mix, and not enough science for my science fiction cravings. Sure, i loved episodes IV, V and VI when I was a kid, but they just don't hold up apart from Han Solo's antiheroic assertion.... which basically killed the whole thing for me, because he was absolutely right.
Taxi Rob I mean like... ow my heart. but also star wars isn’t really sci fi its a space opera. It tells a dramatic story that happens to be in space. The sci fi elements are cool and add to the mystery of the universe but are not necessarily required to make sense like star trek does (most of the time). Lightsabers are badass and symbolic but it doesn’t really matter how they work.
also the “hokey religion” is absolutely a match for a blaster because they literally show just how powerful the force is against blasters, basically no one can shoot a jedi unless they’re distracted. A lightsaber isn’t a replacement for common sense but it is a very powerful weapon that only fell out of fashion because jedi were the only ones who could make them iirc
@@MrTaxiRobThat's because these aren't sci-fi movies and have never claimed to be.
@@MrTaxiRob PLEASE, you, and EVERYONE, if you haven't already, embrace the One True Only God YHWH Jehovah, Only One Jesus Christ His Only Begotten Son and Lord and Savior of our souls and the Only One Holy Spirit. God is good. God is love. Jesus IS coming. Your soul depends on it!
I have seen God act in my life. He saved my soul, changed my heart, changed my mind, helped people through me, took care of people in my life, people I hurt before I found God. God is the only reason I was able to reconcile with my dad before he died.
God worked through Jesus Christ to save our souls. Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and that God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved. Be baptized in The Holy Spirit, and if He wills, water as well. Repent of your sins, accept God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit into your heart, that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, that all who believe on Him shall not perish but have eternal life. Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth and The Life. No one comes to the Father Jehovah God but through Him.
Not long after I got saved I prayed to God for help understanding the Holy Bible, and that same day someone knocked on my door asking me if I wanted to understand the Bible.
The Holy Bible says, "love thy enemy", "turn the other cheek", "If your enemy is hungry, feed him", "if he is thirsty, give him a drink", "pray for those who persecute you", "do not repay evil for evil".
LORD willing, all humans may commit sin of almost every kind (gay, straight), and that's wrong, and all humans sin, as God tells us through the The Holy Bible, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." The Holy Bible also says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.", "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." and, “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

Whilst I really appreciate the effort gone into this effort, I think that this really illustrates how well told a story the prequel trilogy actually is, and that there has always been more to the story of Anakin Skywalker than meets the eye, to really explore the depth of his character. George, (I know I’ll get criticised for this) and Hayden, really do a fantastic job of showing us who Anakin really is, that his motive was always love whilst his life as a slave really instilled a lust for power, at first out of good-will (his ‘wise’ dictator in AOTC) but which turns to need from his fear of losing Padmé, his mother, the Jedi order that raised him, and his master Obi-Wan. Ultimately Anakin was never meant to be a Jedi - he cared too much, as the chosen one being a Jedi could not fit his nature for he embodies balance in the force - that was his downfall, but also his redemption in defeating Darth Vader. I think this edit takes too much away from this.
Natheless I really do appreciate the work that has gone into it; our community needs more outreach than ever as Disney continue to make a mockery of our philosophies, lore, stories and characters! That’s my hat thrown in the ring anyhow.
I’d love to know what others think, whether you agree or not.
Watching through this, adding in my 2c.
The intro straight into the space battle/maul confrontation needs more explanation, whether that is from the title scroll, or screen time.
I think Mace Windu telling Anakin: "dont use registered transport, travel as refugees" is required to explain the difference between the sleek elegant transport to Coruscant, and the rough, dirty transport to Naboo since its a high ranking senator.
The scene where Anakin tells Padme (on Naboo in the throne room) that he is in charge of security, then having Padme tell him she knows better should be included - it would have also added on Obi Wan telling Anakin "and you will know your place"
This Geonosis/Kamino arc doesnt fit in my opinion, i think the traditional Kamino with obi wan meeting Jango, Jango fleeing, and obi wan tracking Jango to Geonosis (so no confrontation) would have been a better choice.
C3P0 recognising Padme should have been cut, since it hasnt been shown that C3P0 has met Padme before.
The seen where Anakin tells Padme she needs to stay with Owen/Beru should have been cut directly to Anakin leaving on the speeder.
Anakin slaughtering the Tuskens should have been kept, showed the anger inside him, and him tapping into the dark side, his hatred for the sand people.
Anakin saying "he killed them all" should have been kept, further reinforcing his hatred"
Dooku telling kenobi "I can assure you, there are no bounty hunters here" should be kept so he answers Kenobi's question/tries to mislead kenobi.
Anakin telling "smoke stacks, we can land there" (or whatever the line is) should have been kept, shows that he has a vast mechanical knowledge, and the scale of the droid manufacturing.
More of the execution arena, lots of cuts with the characters all over the place
The scene where padme's back is sliced should be there to explain why her back is cut up
The scene where the chanceller is granted emergency powers and creates an army is needed, and some of the Kamino arc to explain the clones/Jango's significance.
Dooku leaving the hanger on a speeder, the gunship intercepting Dooku, Dooku waving off his fighters, cut to Anakin & Kenobi jumping of the gunship, then it is destroyed by the fighters. I think this is needed to explain how Anakin/Kenobi got to Dooku.
A lot of Anakin/padme wedding could have been cut.
EP3
Need some transition between EP2&3
Dooku bringing the platform down on Kenobi could have been cut, same with Anakin pulling Kenobi out from under, but still keeping Dooku forcing Kenobi into the railing and Anakin's "he seems to be all right".
Anything relating to how they took the bridge of the ship should be there, instead of finding it vacant.
Anakin's dreams of padme should be audio only since there were no scenes of Anakins mother in dreams.
Scene of Anakin running up the opera steps could have been cut, he was already running in the next scene to the doorway to show urgency.
HOW DARE YOU REMOVE "HIGH GROUND"!!!
Im torn, on one hand I think having vader crush everything around him is needed, but on the other i think adding anything else to Anakin/Vader's ending would ruin the feel.
And lastly, I dont feel as though the final theme fits. I think Lucas King's 'Star Wars - Imperial March | Heroic Version | Piano & Orchestra' or something else would fit much more appropriately.
Not too bad mate, A lot of unnecessary stuff, the awkward Anakin/Padme scenes have been cut which is nice. I dont feel like this takes away/missing anything overly major, it has the Star Wars Feels that the movies do. Another iteration of this cut and I think you would be right on the money. Well Bloody Done.
Probably shows some of the major complaints with the Prequels, so much filler, characters that could be taken out without affecting the main storyline (RIP Grevious, Boba, and others)
I like this as a noir edit, in particular the opening sequence and the transition between the end of episode 2 and beginning of episode 3. I think in the opening crawl when referring to the space battle around Naboo you could have mentioned Anakin as a child prodigy pilot of something to that effect. I would not have cut out Anakin's slaughter of tusken raiders, that is all.
Just finished watching, and I have to say the editor DID accomplish what he set out to do. Now, I do think the story does work best as a trilogy, warts and all, if you had to compress it into one film, this was probably close to the best you could do. It left out a few key points and plot-lines, but overall it tells the story well. If I had seen this before seeing the trilogy, I might have been confused at certain points, and it could use some sort of transition to show the passage of time, but as just a straight edit without any added effects, it's good.
They DID NOT. Stop
Using your burner! If it was acceptable they would have 1,000,000 likes PLUS! Look at how many watched it and only a fraction of them like it! If only they would let us see the amount of downvotes again!
Yeah he did. This is miles better than the prequels as they were edited. Folks who love the prequels will disagree and give down votes I guess. @@thedon1570
Dude... this version is way more mature! The only pacing/exposition elements that are wonky were obviously just due to the fact that you could only edit and not add footage.
Hats off, man!
Then again, you left in "we're coming in too hot!"
Damn you, sir.
I think you did an excellent job condensing his role in the first 3 movies into a somewhat streamlined timeline for his character background.
"I'm too weak! You must help me!"
Made it in, and that's really the only scene that matters.
Did you seriously cut out the entire planet of Kamino? What the hell? That's kind of important to the whole plot of the trilogy!
Suddenly there's a clone army.
You forget that the prequels are altogether a mixed bag of dog shit, so anything you do to them is probably an improvement.
Fleagle how does it feel to be a sheep? Have you ever analytically watched the prequels? They are good movies with Revenge being the best Star Wars movie. A new hope is actually very flawed and Return has scenes with the Ewoks that drag on forever
Right, because completely destroying the plot makes the movie better, somehow...?
Yeah, nothing marks a good movie like stepping into shit, talking about sand and turning an overall good person with some rage attacks into a children murdering maniac in less then 10 minutes including the demystification of one of the greatest villain of all time.
Best fan edit out there. Good job, started off curious and couldn't stop watching... although I don't agree with every edit of course, its pure genius work...
No jar jar I can finally breathe watching these😊
I think this edit is a brilliant idea! I hope you explore it further and produce more of these. :-)
Best yet. Excellent use of subtext, and letting the viewer connect the dots.
I think this was an interesting take on the prequel trilogy. There were a few missed points but overall is covers the main story of the prequels. Good job
Mace Windu- A sith lord? Thats impossible. The sith have been extinct for thousands of years
Palpatine- Allow us to introduce ourselves
*Maul and Dooku walk behind*
My few “complaints” if you ever want to do another alternate cut: The sand people sequence should have been included somehow and at least a little context with qui gon and young anakin… The deleted scenes with Padme’s family would’ve been a nice touch too and I feel like Grievous was cut pretty heavy? However, I’m knitpicking. This is my second favorite fan edit (following one that cuts ROTS, it’s deleted scenes, the clone wars, & parts of the bad batch S1 premiere) so seriously, props to the editing.
My favorite artistic type of change was the “silent” ending more reminiscent of the originals. It explained without it having to be said there. A very good edit/fan cut from someone with all of them in just about every format down to records with the movies audio & a narrator… 😂. This is what I’d show someone if they didn’t want to sit through all the prequels at this point or to get them interested.
I am so glad this is on TH-cam thankyou :)
If the person that attempted this is a child, well done, keep working on your craft. If it's anyone above the age of 15 quit and never attempt anything like this ever again.
Best Star Wars edit ever
And ALL the Jedi and Jedi Masters didn't sense such a big betrayal coming...
Been awhile since I've seen any Star Wars now that disney has it locked down. Thanks for the condensed version.
Great job! Wow powerful editing
I really enjoyed this for the most part, I LOVED the edit at 1:10:55 that was a really cool transition between episodes 2 and 3. I personally wish the death of Anakin's mother and her funeral weren't cut down so much. Also, it was a pretty bold choice to gut all of General Grievous, but it surprisingly worked for the context of this edit. I also think it was a mistake to cut the rise of the empire montage that intercuts with Anakin slaughtering the separatists, I definitely would've kept that in. The opening is a little awkward, but I don't think all of the comments are giving this version (and the audience) enough credit. The opening crawl perfectly makes it clear who the jedi are and the Sith they are fighting. The opening crawl just needed to be a bit longer. And yeah, we don't know why a kid is in a spaceship. But then we see a jedi master die, and his dying wish to his apprentice is "train the boy". After that, we see the masters funeral and his apprentice telling the same boy we saw in the space battle that he will be a jedi. So, we know everything we need to know about these characters in just a few minutes. You just have to keep watching for a few minutes to understand the full context of what is going on. This edit reminded me of epics like Excalibur that span many years over the course of just one film. It can be done, I just think this cut would've benefited from an extra 20 minutes or so. But trimming down a lot of the jar jar stuff and the bad love dialogue was nice, that always helps. If this version was over 3 hours long, I would start it with Queen Amidala and the jedi arriving on tatooine, since that's pretty much where the story really starts honestly. But how DARE you cut out Obi wans famous line about the HIGH GROUND! You can't mess with the high ground, it's so essential! You live and die by the high ground. High ground is love, high ground is life...
I did like the high ground bit , but, apparently according to the myth buster guys on their Star Wars special , it doesn’t matter wether you are on higher ground or not and it mostly seemed to actually favour the low ground in a fight!
Wait, so Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon are on the Federal Planet fighting Darth Maul while Naboo fighters blow the whole thing up? Obi even takes his time to hold Qui-Gon in his arms...
And Jango attacks Obis ship out of a sudden and just keeps landing on the planet though he surely knows the intruder is alive?
That aside the cuts make many scenes pretty weird. Like, why is a kid in a spaceship attacking a base? or how did this 55:01 go to 55:45?
Is the command central of the Invisible Hand always empty? Even during war??
Obi-Wan became a simple sidekick. he is one (if not the most) important person in Anakins life (even if the latter one wouldn't admit that).
And btw you cut out nearly every meme source!
great job
would love one for last 3 movies

All that effort !!! Thank you very much.
I haven't watched it yet but just from the reviews from my bro's a sis's I know this is going to be awesome!
I have been collecting fan edits for a long time now and I can say that I have enjoyed almost all of them, I have fun seeing different interpretations and points of view. Some make a smother vies, some make more since and some leave you with a different emotional feeling. I for one hope new edits will keep coming because frankly I hate everything on TV and in theaters anymore but always find these very entertaining! Thanks!
Very interesting cut (so far). Though if I was watching this for the first time, it probably would have been good to have a short summary in the credits of who Anikin is and why he s randomly in the assault on the trade federation.
You actually made these movies entertaining! Though if I hadn't seen them already I think I would have been lost (who is this kid? who is this older kid? who is this senator? how does she know him? etc.). Wonder if there is one more fine cut happy medium that gets the necessary exposition across but still moves as well as this video. Loved how the climax of Phantom Menace was used as a slam-bang James Bond style opening.
really liked the transition between ep 2 and ep 3

Much was cut. No doubt. But, its free. Its edited together quite well. Im sick and off work, and im really enjoying this. Unlike many comments, im thankful i can watch this when i dont feel well. Thanks for a job well done. As the great master Yoda would say. Listen not to bad comments..for sad inside they are. Everything now they want. Appreciation for nothing they have.
Appreciation for nothing they have. Master Yoda is a good master. One of my favourite characters by far. ❤🌹
Damn. That was truly enjoyable. It must have taken you a very long time to do this fan edit. Any criticisms that came to mind while watching it were due to my prior knowledge of the original trilogy and my awareness of what footage you chose to exclude that I was particularly fond of, which wasn't that much to begin with. Two or three scenes at most. But once I began to pretend this was the first time I was watching any of this footage, it allowed me to more deeply enjoy and appreciate your fan edit.
Way to go. Really, I must commend you. What a joy this was to watch. I hope it never gets taken down, since I really enjoyed this version. It also increases the appreciation for the original source material it's based off. Bravo dude. I'll be watching this again.
Good job. Makes me happ to see someone passionate enough to string together things like this to make the movie they think should exist..
This is awesome, i have watched the whole saga including solo and the spies, i watch all in order and sometimes by the last couple movies it starts to get a bit much, i would love to find some more edits like this of the other movies to create a shorter version that i could binge watch in a day.
Had a violet crumble in hand n my eyes where glued as mum said until the end. Never ate it as she told me,it melted all over my hand lol😂
I enjoyed this immensely! Obviously from the comments, everyone has their own favorite parts and would leave in or take out slightly different things, but your take on the prequel trilogy reminded me why i loved Star Wars and gave me the entire range of emotions i remembered.
It flew by too-- At this point, trimming the fat on those first two films, especially, really helps the story move.......I think with another pass on the scripts and the right edit, the prequels could have as good as the originals....its a shame George didnt let others help him like he did with the OT.
But whatever--- they still have the heart and message of Star Wars...with wonderful characters -- lovable heroes and sinister villains.....the new Disney Star Wars lacks everything that made these films special.....
Thanks Again for your work!
Ian McDiarmid is truly amazing as the Emperor.. They really should make a movie with him before it's too late.

Outstanding, thank you Lord Bartlett
Too much is cut from the opening. No discovery of Annakin..We don't know who Qui Gon is so his death seems lack luster. This should have started with the hangar seen. The shot of Maul removing his cloak and igniting both blades is iconic.
The betrayal of the Jedi Order mirrors the betrayal of the Knights Templars by the King of France, the Pope and other monarchs of Europe. The parallels between the Templars and the Jedi are marked and clear.
You just piqued my curiosity. Thank you for that.
Something like this could potentially work but not this way. Right off the bat we see little Ani and R2 in battle with zero introduction or setup. If you want to start off with the Maul battle, you'd have to cut out any scenes with Ani, and then find a way to reintroduce him on Tattoine later. Probably not possible without shooting nw scenes or at minimum dubbing in new audio.
The killing of the Sand People were, actually, pretty integral to his path to the Dark Side, IMO. Also, while Yoda's fight with Dooku was kind of cheesy as rendered, it did solidify Yoda's prowess with the lightsaber. And, come on...the high ground...
Kudos for the minimization of Jar Jar :)
Could it have been the violence? He also edited the slaughter of the Vice Roys, the attack at the Jedi Temple and most of the fight between Anakin and Obi Wan. A bit too much editting of key points.
Badass edit bro screw all these people who don't know how to appreciate a good movie
Vader looking to the floor when discussing wiping out the Jedi - hes still Anakin
This was a really well done edit. Some scenes did not flow so well, because of slight missing context, but otherwise, it really is a superb effort. Enjoyed watching it.
Never mind the Jar Jar is a Sith theory, Obi Wan was playing (trolling) both sides the whole time. He argues with all the good guys in almost every scene. Even Yoda. I think in the first three he was mainly trolling the Jedi (and GG) and in 4,5 and 6 (and the TV series) it's the Sith. Look at the fight in ANH. And the TV series - he completely trolls him in the escape scene too with the decoy ship. Nobody is that pure unless they're doing it ironically - Obi Wan wasn't even on the council what does he care?
Good fan edit.
The first 41seconds... nostalgic tears pour from my eyes then I saw episode1
Thank you for the gift! You have transformed the Star Wars prequels into the glory they should have been. Beautiful ... I have always disliked the prequels but here you have made them shine.
Your choices were outstanding ... The only suggestion I might make is a touch more narrative clarity in the first 30 min or so .. Adieu, mon amis.
The Phantom Menace stuff would be confusing to someone not familiar with the film. Who's the little kid? There's no reference at all. You've got Obi saying, "There's Kamino" and he lands somewhere else. I stopped watching there.
David Curry
Yeah, Obi Wan is supposed to be going to Kamino, as all the previous scenes were building up to that. The he shows Obi Wan chasing Jango and Bobba Fett thru the rings of Geonosis.
I agree. While Ep 1 can be 'trimmed' for sure... cutting as much as 15/20min out, this edit cuts way to much Only 10min of 1.. that's crazy. Its a good 'fast forward' if your a fan going to see ep 8 this year and what to get through it quickly. But new people would be lost. Only thing 2 needs cut is that droid factory scenes... 3 is fine as is.
he should've started from the beginning of the final action scene to get that reference point
Also where I stopped. The creation of the Clone army is essential to the plot
agreed,its not following a timeline?
i loved the ending...using the Force Awakens trailer music works surprisingly well.
it's such a tragic tale of love & loss. the last act of Revenge of the Sith is something I actually find hard to watch without a few tears. even though I'm 53 I'm not ashamed to admit it.
the quality of Episodes 1 to 6 is still just incredible. Disney haven't got a hope of making something worthy of the Star Wars name.
very good edit - there's a few bits I'd leave in like Anakin's first time losing it & slaughtering sand people who raped & killed Smee & the locket Anakin gave to Padme that you see in her hands at the funeral (it 's just a little thing but it's so sad & melancholy - it hits u that there's nothing left)
but generally excellent stuff
Wow wow wow wow wow what? They've never r*ped Shmi c'mon
I couldn't take my eyes off this. Sure, some people will say it's only editing, but it's still better than anything Disney have done. 🎉😂
Disney didn't do the prequel that was done before Disney got it's hands on the Franchise but i Agree Disney could have done a Better Job than what they did how can we fix their mess it's almost as if Disney wanted to destroy this franchise like a few others it messed up before they creators decided to take back their product and fix what Disney messed up in the first place
@@MackHeath-ns7ly It's half a joke. Personally, I love Rogue One, but the rest of them are a thumbs down for me.
Rogue One is really good. I liked it at least. It was the good kind of weird where it took chances on how crazy a galaxy with strange creatures and aliens actually exist along side humans and not be Star Trek about it. @@Sigma.6
well wait a minute now, rogue one and andor my guy! andor! its awesome!
yes
I like how it starts with the parts I almost always fell asleep/ lost interest before watching.
I'm gonna be able to watch this anytime soon (will take too long) but respect for all the work with the editing. Must've taken ages to do.
This is fantastic. It's like you watched Mr. Plinkett's reviews of the prequel trilogy and cut out as much of the shit as possible. I find it funny that you managed to mash the first 2 into an hour, but then show most of ep 3.
Awesome job, I'll be watching this whenever I marathon Star Wars from now on.
Red Letter Media is cancer to anything creative. They hate everything
Someone makes a two and a half hour long edit of what is about 6 hours worth of movies.
Person in the comment section: "But there is this scene that is missing!"
Another person in the comment section:"Also this scene is missing!"
ME: -_-
The total cut out of Kamino would be totally confusing to a first time watcher
Great job, I enjoy it - all the crepy parts are gone ;D
You have done well Jedi! Your depiction of this story and your editing of the prequels put together, I love it! BRAVO!!!!
Amazing video!! Your effort and hard work really shows!!
All he did was edit literally anyone can do that with time
What made me laugh is that you compressed ep.1 in 5 mins 😂😂
Thank god with that jar jar thing
Cara eu deixaria o episódio 1 totalmente de fora.
Master, apprentice. Which one was destroyed? Maul. They pan over to Palpatine after, holy shit never picked that up from the scene
imagine showing this to someone who’s never seen star wars
I would pay the ticket price of all three prequels to see this on the big screen
