I loved the cinematography so much, but my favorite part had to be Boba Fett's entrance. It's like watching a fight conclude between two jackals, and then this Bengal tiger steps out to finish off the winner. You've perfectly captured just how intimidating he would actually be. Why Disney can't do this is beyond me.

@@LunacraftProductions True. I had to think of a phrase from "The Art of War" though:
"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of 100 battles"

Once again, Boba Fett just absolutely schools his foes. In this time of his life he knows a smart hunter doesn't exhaust himself with the fight, but waits for the right time to move on his prey. Good use of the voice synthesizer to try to make him sound more like Temuera, too.

Nicely done, guys. I've been bouncing around the S.W. Universe since 1977, my cousins and I actually tried to make our own fan-film the following summer with an old Super-8, (Wish I knew what happened to that old film). Who knew how much tech would advance, huh?
Anyway, you have alot to be proud of here. Acting, FX, camera work, dialog, all feature-film level. It warms an old fan's heart to know my favorite alternate-universe is in such good hands. My one big regret is that I'll never get to see the eventual finale to the story, (still trying to get caught up on all of the fan-films, a losing endeavor, I fear.)

This fan film is so well-made.
The only three things I noticed that brought it down in my opinion I offer are minor: 1. The CGI for the ship's landing sequence at the start (1:11) seems a bit off, but the effects of the film overall, *chef's kiss; 2. There are quite a bit of cuts during the fight scene, which can be a bit jarring. But, the choreography was great. 3. During the firefight, at 14:28 Boba and the Twi'lek have their guns at the ready then in the next clip, they are lifting their guns up, and at 14:28 Boba fires at the Twi'lek once, the Twi'lek fires, and then Boba fires again, however only one scorch mark is shown at 14:29. As I stated, extremely minor, I enjoyed the film overall. 🙂
Not going to lie, I thought this fan film was going to be centered around Boba with him being so prominent on the thumbnail. I was actually a bit disinterested for a while because I guess I'm a bit burned out with this awesome bounty hunter. But I was pleasantly surprised, you had a completely original character (to my knowledge) and he was really compelling. This character is a Twi'lek. I feel like our protagonists are always human that this was a breath of fresh air. And our initial antagonist is a cyborg Pantoran. I can't recall the last time we've seen a cyborg in Star Wars excluding than the Star Wars books and SWTOR. There's also the fact that the male protagonist isn't made the butt of a joke and the female antagonist isn't OP. So that's nice. The picture quality is phenomenal and the cinematography is really great. The sound design, music, the acting, the costumes, props are all great. It also has somewhat of a complete story, which not a lot of fan films have. After Bucketheads videos, I think this is my second favorite fan film.

This was one of the best fan films ever made, the acting was excellent, the writing of the world is excellent (knowing that twi'leks are mostly slaves, mentioning ryloth which isn't just a location, but story, since we see time and time again ryloth be attacked, first in clone wars and lastly in the timeline in rebels series, so even with just the writing this tied into rebels series a lot).
Will this have a continuation/are there more star wars fan films in the future? You can connect the storylines to darth maul's crime syndicate, I would be interested in seeing your version of him, I honestly believe it would be the best fan version of darth maul as of yet.

The end did it for me at first I though that this was just another star wars short film shot in a forest like all the rest of them that relied on making references to the star wars franchise while not paying attention to the story itself but I was wrong the story was interesting and I found myself forgetting it was a fan film for a second and they ending scene was fantastic well done.

I love this! Even the comedy put into the fight was masterfully done. If you "amateurs" can script, act and produce a 15 minute slice of awesomeness like this on a tiny budget, imagine what you can do with half of Disney's budget! Mind blowing! Thank you. 🙂

    • @LunacraftProductions

Among other films and projects, we’re currently developing our sequel to ‘Blaster’ so watch this space! Thanks again for the high praise and support ❤️🎉🚀
