If you do make more, please bring back Arko and the Wookie, too! They were great. I'd like to see more of their friendship with Jayma, and they could also meet Grenz. Plus, the ending seems to set that up...Could it already be planned and in the works? ;) I hope so! Also, it'd be fun to see Mando and Barrows confront Darth Ekkage, and somehow Grenz, Jayma and company get mixed up in it too.
This film was hella legit...Ya'll out here just casually Making better content than Disney...Should definately do another...Mad props to everyone involved💯
I played a failed Jedi in the Star Wars rpg. He was a recovering alcoholic who suffered from ptsd due to what he had seen during the rise of the empire. He had a long way to go before he could even begin to make amends and begin the journey towards becoming a Jedi. Grenz reminded me of that character who I haven't thought of in years. Thank you.
Update after having now watched your entire movie: This is a masterpiece, executed with care & intelligence, where the characters come to life, including funny & witty dialogues for levity, whilst having a balance in pathos. Bravo & chapeau to the skills of all involved in producing this movie ! With great respect and kind regards, TH
Fan films like this make me remember why I love Star Wars. Brilliant acting, great scenery, great story, it's undoubtedly 10/10. I'd happily watch a sequel!
This was awesome! Great fan film! Good message. Liked the humor especially the Jedi's character. Enjoyed the tension wondering if she would choose her old master and the sith or to serve the Force. Glad it had a happy ending!
THIS is Star Wars. Has all the storytelling elements one wants in a space adventure - learning all the lessons on one's own journey in life, a flawed but good mentor to help one along on that journey, the power of true friendship and courage to face one's own fears. If only a certain studio could make something halfway decent like this, their fanbase would be incredibly happy...
Why is this good? I watched the whole thing and loved it! Fan films usually suck. Good characters, good acting, lightsaber choreo could use some work, but still decent. Well done!
Really liked this alot. I appreciated the time, effort and story details. Nice touch with Dark Ekkage, Baras's sister. One of the best fan Films I have ever seen!
This was amazing! I have grown up with the originals and I am very picky with Star Wars fan films. I play the Old Replublic and I loved the relation and settings from both starting worlds. I was at the edge of my seat hoping for the out come you provided. The acting was amazing! I with out a doubt loved it!
This was great the first time and even better on my 2nd and 3rd viewings. Thank you to all involved for making this movie and for all of your hard work. It's a really well done film: it's entertaining, has good writing, pacing, cinematography, and editing, and it keeps your interest the whole way through. It has great characters, good music, and most importantly, a good message. The references to various Star Wars projects from the main films to the Old Republic period to Rebels and to The Mandalorian are awesome as well. Here's my ticket in thanks and in support of this project. I'll catch you Lothcats later!
To all involved in the creation of this epic tale of the "other" side of the force: Granted, I am writing this message whilst only having watched the first 9 minutes, but already at this point, I am amazed at how you captured what was only hinted at in the official movies & somewhat developped in Old Republic lore (games etc.). It feels like if G. Lucas had himself made these stories in the 70s, so as to offer an origin story, when both orders had many Padawan/Apprentices before the rule of 2. In any case, onward with continuing to view your movie. With kind regards, TH
This was great!! I really loved how this fan filmed handled the struggle between light and dark!! And Grenz is such a great Jedi lol!!! Definitely one of my favorite characters 😂
Grenz is well done. He clearly has a past but I feel like he will choose her over the order when they try to chain her down emotionally. Jedi have a nack of being cold numbskulls. They only accepted her cuz of grenz and the war effort.
Oh my God, I love the writing and the world building. This is why fans need to be in charge of making these types of films. They have a passion for it. They truly love this world of space, wizards, aliens, and laser swords. I love the cinematography, great angles, and shots! Disney needs to stop missing around and hire these guys! This was definitely someone's passion project and they put their time into it The biggest downfall on why a lot of the Jedi became disgruntled is because when you take a child away in their development stage from their parent, even if they understand, it's for their benefit you're going to have some serious psychological problems. Anakin had anxious attachment syndrome, abandonment issues. I know the Jedi meant well, they figured they could complete a more intensive training regiment if the young Padawan didn't have any outside hindrance. But we see a perfect example of what happens when a child is taken away from his or her mother or father When we follow the story of Anakin Skywalker. It was clear that he looked at Qui Gon as a parental figure and then when he was killed, Obi-Wan became the brother father figure and friend. Throughout the story, it's clear that Anakin just wants to find stability, love, understanding, and acceptance as well as praise. Things you will not get in the Jedi Academy. That's why they said he was too old to complete the training because he had already formed a bond with his mother like any other child. I kind of wonder if Anakins mother was allowed to be freed and taken to croissant with Anakin, Anakin would have the parental figure he needed. Although Sly being raised by his mother, he might develop nice guy syndrome, but that's a far cry from becoming Darth Vader (Spoilers) hehe.
This was hands down awesome. The story was strong, the acting great, and the creativity professional all the way. The way the characters were built without having to delve too much into their backgrounds showed the strength in the writing of this movie. The watcher of the movie can relate to almost every character but also learn from them as well. You hit this out of the ballpark, great job. I liked the battle where she stands between the light and the dark, the symbolism is powerful. You(or the collective you depending how many wrote this film)built the main characters up so well through their personality that their actions and words had deeper meaning, as if each word was meant exactly for that moment and no filler. I speak for those who commented as well as those who have yet to comment, I believe a sequel is in the plans or being written as I type this. Congrats, I hope we get a sequel.
I really hope this film garners the views that it deserves. Hands down (pun intended) the best Star Wars fan film I have ever seen. You can feel the soul and passion radiate through every scene and in every encounter. The story and the message exceed anything Disney has produced. It was witty and fun. Even the extras had character (my favorite was Issac). May the force be with you and your team!
Disney needs to truly take this to heart. This is true cinematic storytelling. This is what they SHOULD be doing. Even if you want to include political biases, you had an excellent female lead, A black protagonist, A majority female supporting roles, And an overall extremely diverse cast. But most importantly, it was an extremely compelling and sentimental storytelling. I appreciate how this sheds the sith in a different light in the pre Darth Bane rule of 2 era. I would say that the Star Wars purist in me would likely critique the fact that Jayma had some capabilities that are certainly seemingly above her level, Other than that one minor inconsistency, I feel like this is extremely refreshing. One last piece of advice is I would not recommend that they try to make Barrows a Jedi if they do a sequel. Perhaps they could form their own faction. Such as Grenz and Barrows Train the new apprentices in both the white and the dark side. I do not see either of them ever being fit for a grandmaster type of role, but perhaps one day, Jayma could.
I also feel there should be a neutral faction of force users the Gray Jedi fits into that as following both tenants of the Jedi and Sith, and don't forget that the Nightsisters of Dathomir use the Dark Force but are not Sith, they simply are
I also like Austin Parenti's character, Lord Zionoth. He is a fun villain and for some reason I like his little monologue, "Lord Cade Barrows, the Meek. Why does such a renowned duelist hide in the shadows? Is it that girl? Has she softened you? Hahahaha." I also wonder what will become of him once Darth Ekkage finds out that Grenz and Jayma are still alive.
And Jayma Solvo becoming a Grey Jedi. What is foridden in the light side of the Force is someone like Jayma Solvo becoming a Sith apprentice like Darth Maul, and become enslaved to the dark side of the Force. Jayma Solvo becoming a Grey Jedi.
I agree Disney needs to learn and watch how this was made , the writing, the acting, and so much more it was very good where is part two to this I want to see more Star Wars from you guys this is perfect what an adventure I love it
If this is "Fan-Fic" - its _easily_ equal to the BEST S-W coming out of Hollywood now . THIS is an _absolutely_ worthwhile "in-universe" story , and was very well executed . There is not a SINGLE "thin spot" thin _enough_ to break the illusion , and with the level of EXECUTION , _this_ is as STRONG a product as ANYONE could want ! _THANKS_ !!
Great job, best star wars film I've seen since the original trilogy. Interesting how Jayma looks just like my SWTOR Sith sorcerer. Hope there's plans for more.
Some would buy a golden calf only to throw it in a fire and beat on it until they got a magic spark. Here, I see someone holding something magical, sharing love and respect, and then sharing that beauty with the world. Far superior to many of the recent offering, and some of the super OG practical effects nearly brought a tear to my eye.
Ngl, when I read the title, I was fully expecting for Kade to be a Revenknight. And then proceeded to go into this with the expectation that he would be trying to teach Jayma the teachings of Reven. I was even more convinced from the opening classroom shots. Didn't turn out that way but I appreciate the message being given about serving a greater power. Kade really had me convinced when we were introduced to him that he was not Quite a Sith. Then there is the guy with the two purple sabers who also showed similar behavor. EDIT: I was also about to bet on her choosing to walk away from both her "masters" and decide not to be a Jedi or Sith and have a moment where she relates to both codes but also disagrees with them.
Of course it's not 180 millions dollars budget with special effects no professionnal comedians no matter what fans respect the true spirit of Star Wars as George Lucas has created and imagined it you guys did a great job i have appreciate that movie
This was fabulous. the most realistic impression of the way people might behave in a galaxy that had a unifying Force, where they used lightsabres. As a massive bonus, Grenz typifies for me what I've come to learn as a Christian when he said; 'We're all slaves; we only get to choose our Master'. Everything the Jedi or the Sith ever did in any movie was imperfect; some of their acts were even cruel, or stupid. But this shows clearly the difference between one person's Master and another's, whatever their mundane allegiance. I'd been rooting every bit as much for Cade, as I had been for Grenz or the heroine; but in the end, he went a different way. When's the sequel coming out?
🎉👏🎊This was INCREDIBLE!! 😮 I have NEVER seen a fan film before that gives professional B movies a run for their money💸!! If it said that, it was a licensed direct to video (American OVA). I wouldn't doubt it!! 🎉🎊🎆🏆👏👏👏 Also, doing it from the POV of a Sith acolyte was very original & creative.
This film is so underrated.
The greatest line comes from a relatable, imperfect Jedi: We're all slaves. Will you serve yourself or something greater?
This movie is better than almost anything Star Wars since the original trilogy. I would love to see this remastered with a Disney-level budget.
Amazing, as good as a new hope. Disney should fund these guys for a series.
This was honestly one of the best star wars films I've seen, well done all of you involved! Absolutely incredible to think this is all fan made!
This is bloody fantastic. We need more Tales of Padwan Jayma Solvo, Master Grenz, Barrows & the Mando
Agree 100%
I saw your name in the credits. Pumping up your own movie is sad.
This film was hella legit...Ya'll out here just casually Making better content than Disney...Should definately do another...Mad props to everyone involved💯
I think this has the best messaging any film I've ever seen has ever had, to serve something greater then yourself, beautiful
I played a failed Jedi in the Star Wars rpg. He was a recovering alcoholic who suffered from ptsd due to what he had seen during the rise of the empire. Agreed .
Amazing film. Very enjoyable. Thanks!
Either Disney needs to hire fans to write content or fans need to hire great actors for theirs...either way, Disney should be ashamed.
Yes exactly
@@UrBigFan maybe the hollywood writers should go on strike more often. Then we might get some actually well written content, with fresh ideas.
I agree!
Disney wants to sell the woke narrative. They don't care about losing money or making a good story.
Unbelievably Great!!! Finally a Jedi Serial capable of carrying the ''Sabre"! Please please do so.
Give this a Disney sized budget and it would be a hundred times better than any of the fodder they have been crapping out.
Fan films like this make me remember why I love Star Wars. Brilliant acting, great scenery, great story, it's undoubtedly 10/10. I'd happily watch a sequel!

ABSOLUTELY ! This _IS_ INDEED Star Wars and Star Wars as it SHOULD _BE_ 👍!!
WOW ... well done and more. Thank you for the inspiring story ❤🙏
Would like a sequel.
I second the motion!
i agree totally! sequel please... in fact make it a whole series!
Why is fan made stuff better? You can tell the love for it. Plus no propaganda / agenda. ❤
So say we all

Indeed . As excellent as the overall production WAS - and it ABSOLUTELY _WAS_ (!) - the writing was absolutely SPOT - _ON_ 👍 !
"We're all slaves to something. You Must know which Master to serve." Now thats what we're missing. Thats Beautiful and Touched my heart.
An amazing fan film! Loved everything about it. Imagine what these folks could do with a major budget.
I really hope this film garners the views that it deserves. Hands down (pun intended) the best Star Wars fan film I have ever seen. Fantastic Job and thank you, This film mad me feel good!
Wow... one of the best fanfilms i have seen.... Thanks for that
Phenomenal, I LOVE this one. Great storyline, well thought out and played, really good costuming camera work, and great acting, too

A Very Good Star Wars Short Story, Movie. I enjoyed this movie very much. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I loved it. Way better than anything Disney is putting out right now. Keep it up. Star Wars Strong!!!!
This is the Star Wars I recognize.
Wow i just watched an amazing movie! Thank you!!
Hope there is a part II to this, thoroughly enjoyed it!!
Inpressive....most impressive
I also like Austin Parenti's character, Lord Zionoth. He is a fun villain and for some reason I like his little monologue, "Lord Cade Barrows, the Meek. This film was far better than anything.Disney has done the actors and the writers should be very proud of themselves
A movie from the Sith acolyte point of view??? I understand it's Old Republic but this is phenomenal!!! Nice work!!
Finally, a good Star Wars film. I hope you keep making more.
Cant wait for the sequel! There's definitely a trilogy in this.
Enjoyed this! Part 2?
Outstanding! Love this story. Keep up the good work.
This is REALLY GOOD 👍👍👍👍 EXCELLENT writing and cinematography 🏆 thank you for this movie 🙏
❤...This would be a TV show I'd watch... fantastic!!
Terrific! I think I was expecting a series of short skits shot on someone's phone... but no, strong writing, directing and even FX!
Great job, best star wars film I've seen since the original trilogy. Interesting how Jayma looks just like my SWTOR Sith sorcerer. Hope there's plans for more.
I really enjoyed this. Well written and great actors that flowed with each other. I can't wait for the next one. 🎉😊
This is a brilliant film! It reminds me of good old days of TOR (The Old Republic).
Us fans do have great ideas. I've got a few of my own.
Excellent Job. Hope there's a sequel. 👍
Great movie. Props to the crew.
Good to see someone doing Old Republic. Much more interesting than the same old Skywalker line.
This is actually brilliant 👏
Oh my! What a great movie! Great story line, acting and even humor!
Wow this fan film is better than Disney movies
Absolutely fantastic!!! 5 STAR ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So…..where’s the sequel? I really enjoyed this Star Wars!
I’m about to watch this whole thing
I honestly think that the female character in this did a better job than the actress who played Rey.
Great film. Thanks!
This is how star wars is suppose to be. A fun engaging story with shiny lightsaber fights
Thanks! Better than Disney y'all rule the force lives on and Jayma( Lilli Rittner) much better than Ray look forward to a sequel!!
Better than the original. Bravo
Loved the grey side theme!!!
This was amazing. Hope there will be a sequel!
I like this, I can’t wait to see what these people (actors, actresses and crew) will do next. ❤
Wow I was impressed 👏 👌 wonderful story and excellent acting and a great mix of action and intrigue
i loved this!! great job to everyone involved. :D
Great movie!🤘! Would enjoy next episode.😉. Thanks
This is 💯 times better than Disney.
How can this be more entertaining then the last crap Disney pushed out in the past years. Damn good job my dudes. Cheers.
Sway to go TKA/tv good storyline and plot, I hope some more to come YAHOO👍
Better than ANY of the Disney attempts to make a good star wars movie! I want more!!!!
Gray is a name, grey is a color.
I'm 7 minutes in, and it's already better than Acolyte
Of course it's not 180 millions dollars budget with special effects no professionnal comedians no matter what fans respect the true spirit of Star Wars as George Lucas has created and imagined it you guys did a great job i have appreciate that movie
Fantastic video. Thank you

The only hope I have for Star wars at this point is fan films thank you keep it up better than anything Disney Star wars has ever done.
"reminds me of my time on korreban... cleaning vermin from the tombs." -some future empress maybe?
Great!
Thank you
Hey that's pretty good
I loved it, a flawless movie
10 out of 10, nice work
🎉👏🎊This was INCREDIBLE!! 😮
I have NEVER seen a fan film before that gives professional B movies a run for their money💸!! If it said that, it was a licensed direct to video (American OVA). I wouldn't doubt it!! 🎉🎊🎆🏆👏👏👏
Also, doing it from the POV of a Sith acolyte was very original & creative.
Next time if you need another Jedi actor I come cheap, look me up I'd love to b part of this it's totally awesome, May the force b with y'all
Definitely better than the last few from Disney
Why do fans make the best films?
Fans are true of heart. They are not in for the money.
