The company has about 6 shades the influencer can choose from, the other shades are used for other products. These influencers are not cosmetic chemists. They have no expertise in how to actually create a formula, they just say they want something dewy, buttery, or matte. Please don't believe these influencers. The more money you spend on "their" products, the more opportunities you give them to continue exaggerating and lying.

What I don’t understand is why brands want to work with her? She’s mostly known for being a liar, she’s lost trust with her own fanbase and others in the community cannot stand her. That palette feels wasteful, could’ve been 1/4 the size and given the exact same vibes. Edit: I also personally love blue eye looks but even then, a lot of these blues will look the same. Also most of us have regular jobs and really can’t wear bold blue looks often.
I think maybe the palette collection was supposed to come out before l but because it was probably delayed and it wasn't ready in time for her wedding that she went with elephant's dad. Literally the process for someone like her (a joke of a makeup reviewer) is a team who actually knows about makeup asks them to try different formulas and colors and then they say what they want and the team does all the work and prepares the next set of colors and formulas. Saying "this rubs off too easily" or "lets make it less glittery" is what these silly people think constitutes them making makeup. Must be horribly frustrating to be the real talent and have to let some clown put their name on your work to get it attention.

First and foremost, had to block her Tik toks from showing up on my FYP because to hear she was still doing the exaggerated accent is so goofy. Second, personally wouldn’t buy a wedding palette that has a silhouette of the influencer and their husband on the front?? Obviously her wedding is more public on multiple platforms due to her being a make up influencer versus like those one off videos couple or families may post of a small snippet of a wedding, but that’s it. I found her wedding overall very just disingenuous and somewhat surreal to see how much of those intimate moments are broadcasted and also containing a collab as well. Personally I think everything was very apparent when the friend called her out for her guest list. We also don’t know what her husband’s POV is, but at the same time I don’t think he’s complaining about the money that comes in either

What I don’t understand is why brands want to work with her? She’s mostly known for being a liar, she’s lost trust with her own fanbase and others in the community cannot stand her. Why would a company work with her knowing all of this? I understand if they had approached her before the lash gate scandal and worked with her then but this happened so long ago. If I had a makeup product I wanted to sell I would use someone with a good reputation/ truth worthy to promote it. Not someone who cannot take a stand on a simple mascara product being good or bad.

they should’ve made it a winter/holiday pallet bc u can do sm with a “holiday” palette. u can use almost every color as something. for example, reds could be santa’s coat, cranberry etc and then even incorporate browns and name them like ginger bread, or rudolf. black could be coal. then it could be a huge pallet and have a lot of colors and be more original than being all blue
Oooo your idea also sounds like it would be more versatile for tanned or darker skinned people. Her palette is just BLUE with glittery and ashy (in my opinion) shades that people Mikaylas skin tone would get more use out of the entire palette.

I think maybe the palette collection was supposed to come out before l but because it was probably delayed and it wasn't ready in time for her wedding that she went with elephant's dad.
