This is why I watch TH-cam for makeup reviews and not TikTok. I want thorough reviews with wear tests, natural light pictures and video, no filters, no major edits. If you watch the smaller creators, they seem to be very trustworthy. I haven’t bought something from one of my trusted creators that I didn’t like.
I know that’s why I miss long form makeup content, the wear tests are really what most people look for and TikTok doesn’t show that bc it has to be short. These TikTokers don’t work normal jobs so they aren’t able to show them wearing a full face of makeup throughout the day
