For some reason I think Mikayla is enjoying being the villain. From what I know, she wasn't really that controversial before lashgate but now it lowkey feels like she's doing it intentionally.
I mean this is a charity. Why would they get paid from a hospital? Why would they want to get paid in the first place? This is a place for sick children to go get help and you can't do it for free? It's kinda ridiculous
as a regular hospital patient (who was in the teenagers unit when i was younger and know what pediatric care is like), these things piss me off. hospitals do need help, especially units that welcome children, we live in a reality where unfortunately donations are really important. my longest stay was absolutely saved by the person who donated a guitar to the hospital unit. please, if donating interests you, i think it's better to contact your local hospital and ask them what they are in need of the most. sometimes it could not necessarily be money, but instruments, games for children, things to improve everyday life. don't let influencer scammers discourage you from doing things that actually matter. these rich ppl need to disappear for real

I donated to the fundraiser to of course support a great cause but I felt it came out of nowhere and was disingenuous as she barely posted the link so I did want to see if she actually would fulfill the promise of the two Chanel gift bags regardless whether or not they met their goal. Now I just want my money back and for Mikayla to actually grow up, take accountability, and reevaluate herself or just leave the platform- I’m honestly convinced that the fundraiser was definitely fraudulent and she was going to keep that money for her wedding.

As someone from Boston when something is wrong with your child you rush them to Boston’s Children’s Hospital! It really is one of the best hospitals in the country! Honestly as long as their receiving the $ that’s all I really care about!
