  • Dan Berkes of DynoJet meets with Kyle Bradshaw of www.CruiserCusotmizing.com to talk about the Power Commander V and its features and benefits.
The New Power Commander V is loaded with tons of new features. It is compatible with 2009 and newer bike models.
Check out Kyle's Tip of the Week and learn how to map your new Power Commander
    Features:
    • Reduced size from PCIIIusb (less than half of the size of PCIII)
    • USB powered from computer (9 volt adapter is no longer needed for programming)
    • 2 position map switching function built in (map switch not included)
    • Gear input (allows for map adjustment based on gear and speed)
    • Analog input (allows user to install any 0-5 volt sensor and build an adjustment table based on its input such as boost or temperature)
    • With gear position input connected the PCV is capable of allowing each cylinder to be mapped individually and for each gear (for example: on a 4 cylinder bike with a six speed transmission there could be up to 24 separate fuel tables).
    • Unit has a -100/+250% fuel change range (up from -100/+100%). This allows more adjustment range for 8 injector sportbikes
    • 10 throttle position columns (up from 9 on PCIIIusb)
    • Enhanced "accel pump" utility (increased adjustment and sensitivity ranges)
  • ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

Can I get custom map then run auto tune to tweek the map for fluctuations in air humidity as I do a lot of moutain rides and the ignition module will that allow me to set my revs sat at 6000rpm in first and let me launch off the line then when clutch is out fully allow me to go up the Rev range is it like launch control

Are all types of exhaust uploaded to the PC5? I have a Austin Racing Exhaust, half pipe, for the 2011 BMW S1000RR. It basically gets rid of the can and makes it into a somewhat full exhaust. And can you use any computer to re-map the PC5?... Any information would be awsome thank you.

I put a Yoshimura slip-on exhaust on my prior 2007 Suzuki GSXR-600 and immediately had the FI light come and stay on when no power commander was installed. I now have a 2011 Suzuki GSXR 600 and was going to purchase a Yoshimura R77 slip-on for it. Is a power commander required, or will I get the FI indicator light again like I did on my 07? Thanks

chances are they are going to tell you if you want optimum performance map it on a dyno,.... I say whats the point.... save your money and put it on a dyno to start with!

I cannot speak for the street bikes for only for my Yamaha 2012 cruiser. I would not recommend this for cruisers~ change your pipes and your airbox and then take it and get it mapped on a dyno. Imagine going down the road with it poppin every once in a while. Not my cup of tea. Anyway, I took all this crap out and had it re mapped on a dyno. My bike kicks ass $1000 later!. yeah , I learned the hard way so yo dont have to!

You apparently bought this without doing any research or did poor research. The auto tuner gets you CLOSE to ideal. A full tune on a dyno is best, from there the auto tune will make minor adjustments to that new tune based on environmental changes at the moment. It's not a magic plug-n-play bullet.
