@6:50 you are ignoring the fact that the incentive in question of 4 drop offs between 6 and 8 AM is over a 4 days period.....I dunno where you at where DD and UE pays better than spark but it must be something crazy like new york on something... im in the panhandle and DD and UE SUCK..... I make 13-1500 in a 40 hour week with spark only.
Where I am I make more money on Spark than DoorDash or Uber Eats. (but i always have them all on, of course) Those "routed" ones with like 10-20 stops I usually don't take unless they're at least like $1.20 a mile or more. Oftentimes they are less than $1 per mile, and Sam's in particular are usually like 50 cents a mile or something terrible. They also usually go out around 1:30-2pm here, occasionally in the morning or later afternoon. I make the most on curbside and shops...curbsides always go out between 20-40 past the hour for pick up at 45-55 past. First round at 7:20am, last by 8:40pm. Ideally I like at least like $10, 13, 18 or so for single, double, triple curbsides but of course it depends on the items/size of the order and distance. Shop orders are my favorite especially at my neighborhood store becuase i can do them fast and usually earn the highest $ per hour. And the base pay starts at $11 so even a no tip order if I can get it done in just a few minutes still makes sense. Whereas on DD I never take no tip orders lol.
I also make significantly more on Spark. I haven't done any gas cost calculations, but generally, I get an order for the :45 pickup, and I'm done by :15 and am on my way back to the store, which I can't pick up until :45 anyway. For me, Spark is a reasonably consistent once an hour thing, where the pay for a trip is my hourly rate that hour. With Instacart, I barely make minimum wage in my area, and pick up Instacart orders only if I miss the :25 - :35 trip offers. I only Doordash and Uber Eats when I'm totally desperate with no Spark or Instacart orders. I don't get the Spark hate, it's consistent, and pays 2-3x unemployment. I guess my standards are low, but I'll take $18-25/hr instead of $4-5/hour on Doordash or Uber Eats.
So true about Walmart Spark. I just don't like the large dead hours you spend waiting for orders and you have to be near the Walmart. Usually the larger orders are about $1 a mile where I am. I do those if they're not too far and I use UberEats to make my way back towards the Walmart. It's not a perfect system and it could use a lot of improvement, but it works okay for some extra cash on days I have the time to mess with it. I have yet to try the shopping orders because I wasn't quite sure how the checkout system works but I see those come up all the time and I need to try one soon.
I make more money with Spark where I am also . I mostly work weekends and Sunday afternoons into evenings i make the most money. There are 5 walmarts in my zone, with 1 one them being too far out. My spark pings constantly when it is on. Never more than 5 minutes to wait for a job. I don't know if that is normal. I also have uber eats but it is more likely to send me far away from my pickup for very little money. I haven't figured out how to use more than one app at the same time since both ding constantly. will have to watch video about that.
I get them a lot in my area too. But when I used to go to the Walmart to get them, the staff would tell me they only do Walmart Spark. So....UberEats is doing something weird with Walmart orders.
li have had 3 offers for walmart like that;, but two of them canceled out. the one i did do, I had to tell them I was waiting because the app didn't tell them. It is a strange relationship uber eats and walmart have.
I live in a small town where the food delivery apps and even instacart are few in between orders and good orders at that given out. Only have 2 Walmarts in my area within 10 minutes of each other and they both give out really good orders, always almost every order over $20.
I really prefer Walmart Spark to UberEats so far. It pays better and I use far less gas, etc. It's just that it's even harder to predict than uberEats.
Drivers also have to take into account that if you take a delivery that is 30 mi in total distance that is a 60 mi round trip if you're coming back for another delivery. On every order whether it's a lot of mileage or not so much mileage drivers have to take into account that it will double because the mileage calculated is only one way you then have to factor in the return trip to Walmart to pick up another one. That's where your earnings go down when doing deliveries that require a lot of mileage
I haven't done any deliveries for Spark yet. The zone I would normally drive in has a Walmart, 2 Neighborhood Markets, and a Sam's Club all within 3 to 4 miles of each other.
Luckily I live in a small Mid western city. We have three walmarts and one sams. After you make deliveries, the most you would be from one is 4-5 miles (10 minutes). So I dont mind the drive back.
I never thought about this. My city has 1 Walmart so it's back n forth to the same location like stated in the video. Damn I may need to find the next closest zone with multiple stores. I have been trying to figure out how to cut down on mileage becuz I dread the 8-10 mile trips that end up being much more when u factor in the trip back to the one store that's available. Plus with more store options it's probably more S&D offers which I prefer
@@miltchamberlain6218 my metro area is about 300,000. We have two small cities (7500 pop each) that have their own Walmarts. I have wondered how it would be going to those areas but I would miss that short drive to another Walmart.
In my Spark app, it allows me to change zones as often as I would like. Maybe something new since this video. So, I can take an order 10 miles away and just switch zones to the nearest pickups by my drop off.
For those of you trying to make a living off of Sparks delivery you're better off getting a regular job anywhere else this is a thing you can do for spare change pretty much. When you look at the breakdown of what the delivery pays you will notice that the actual delivery payment is very small and Sparks relies on customers tips to make the actual delivery amounts offered. Sparks then with holes that tip for a full 24 hours before they release it release it to the driver. Other things that the driver has to take into consideration is the number of stops with each delivery bundles up as many deliveries as they can and only offers a couple of bucks more than they would for that one particular delivery but you end up making four or five stops sometimes as many as 13 stops. The other thing is the mileage. If you're offered a bundle delivery and they offer you $29 for the whole bundle 49 miles you have to take into consideration that it's going to be double the mileage as you have to return. That means you've just driven 98 miles and only made $29 which means you made about 30 cents a mile from which you're going to have to cover your gas and your maintenance on your vehicle. Now the author of this video says on his video here that the larger the order the more pay you receive I can tell you by experience that that is incorrect. People that order large orders time to be people on welfare that do not tip and because Sparks relies heavily on the tip to make up the majority of the payment for the delivery you end up making less. Do your research and you will see that I am correct as I am an active Sparks driver that only does it sparingly and is very selective of what I now accept
I've tried Walmart Spark twice and it was a horrible experience both times. Once I factored everything in, it was around minimum wage. Uber Eats is superior. Maybe the incentives would make it worth it but I'm not doing all that driving back and forth. They need to implement minium tips based off of the amount of items you order.
It’s all market based. I drove out to a bigger city to do spark, DD and UE and they were all trash orders. In my small town, spark is where it’s at. Avg $12-35/order, 1-5miles avg. I’ll have DD as a filler and it works out well because my small town tip well so even if it’s slower, I still make good income while waiting around.
I’ve made a killing doing spark Recently made $300 in 9 hours with deliveries and bonus pay Also a lot of those times that are listed aren’t entirely accurate Sometimes it takes longer and a lot of times it takes less If you set up your orders correctly where you can just grab and go, a 19 mile delivery should take less than an hour Also I have to heavily disagree that bonus pay is confusing and it make sense that batch orders only count as one order otherwise drivers would earn insane amounts of money in bonuses I like your videos but I just don’t agree that spark is as bad as you make it out to be
In Austin we see a lot of Walmart deliveries on the Roadie platform. They're actually among the best paying gig app deliveries. Guess I don't understand why Walmart uses multiple gig apps for their same day services. Not sure if Spark is even active here but assuming they are.
This would be helpful if those of us who were doing Spark from the early days could still get orders. Now that they're all snatched up by bots, I haven't seen an order for about a year even though I'm online and in the parking lot a few days a week.
Spark deliveries I’ve done randomly. I find that the wait time is to long. So I find myself declining. Then if you are working other Apps and you don’t make it to the Spark location in adequate time then they want to send messages to head to the location. But it’s OK to have me sitting for 10-20 minutes waiting for the order to be brought out to the car. My Time is Valuable‼️ I have no problem Canceling. Also I’m so used to Cashing Out My 💰🤑Whenever I don’t like that I have to wait until Tuesdays 😒
I guess it varies by location. At my two Walmarts, I rarely wait more than about 5-10 minutes to load up. Walmart even threw me a few extra bucks a couple of times when they didn't have the orders ready in time. I wonder if they're just hurting for drivers in my market though because even though I was on the waitlist for a bit, it wasn't long at all. Not the months of waiting like I hear other people go through.
Gig work used to be great, but now theres to many drivers, and the pay sucks now. I've seen oders for 30 miles for 5 dollars, and no joke its crazy and i have all the apps its just hard to make decent money
I have a question. I’m new to spark, and the mileage is very confusing. When a trip is posted and the mileage is displayed, where does that calculate from? Is It Walmart to customer? Driver to Walmart to customer? Earlier I had a trip that said 8.4 miles but It took me to a Walmart that was 7 miles away, then the customer was 9 miles away so I drove roughly 16 miles for that order. Can someone help me understand how this is calculated? Thanks!
After almost a year they allowed me to out in my info for background checks. Hopefully I’ll actually need the info you are about to share with me. Thanks Mike!
Spark is going down hill fast. One load an hour max at 9-12 $ and today I ask them to watch my Car as I use the rest room.! I had been delivering all morning- they proceeded to tell me that the supervisor told them to tell spark drivers to wait until after the delivery.! Can you believe that sh_t ? I don’t work as an employee of there’s always trying to treat us as an employee or mess up our orders if don’t comply.! Over 1000+ deliveries to date for them.
LoL I finally got accepted after like 3-4 months lol unfortunately I'm not that interested in gig platforms that much. Bottom line if you do this more than on the side you end up paying out ya own pocket. No matter how disciplined and how much you train yourself to choose proper offers. Doing it full time is hustling backwards. Then you also have froots out here like the rideshare Prof telling ppl to strike and how bad they are yet this guy is out here scammingbppl too and he's probably paid opposition from Uber and Lyft. Idk it's crazy out here volatile af
In my zone they are cracking down on drivers with passengers only allowing 2 out of 3 batch and denying with kids but dogs are ok? Not my problem but entertaining to watch. I prefer shop and drop sonce the wait pickup is the same or longer.
Spark route deliveries: This seems like the bundled or route deliveries from Best Buy on Roadie. I never take those. At first glance the pay seems good, might be $50, but you'll travel maybe 100 miles to complete all deliveries. That comes to .50 cents per mile which is horrible if you're in a truck or van. Also the hourly rate conversion is $10 - $12 per hour in many cases? Bundled deliveries - or apparently route deliveries in Spark - are a bad arrangement for drivers.
I make more money around the Atlanta area with spark. I use Uber eats and DoorDash to fill the gaps sometimes. I’m trying to sign up for some other apps as well.
I have a question, If u have a pickup time of lets say 1:45 but u dont get there until 2. Does that count as being late? I know with asap orders u have, I think 25 min, is that the same for scheduled pickup times as well?
This is the best video! I really appreciate it. I have the same challenges with spark. It’s not very intuitive and the pay is low. Obviously it’s my choice 😂 but I hope there are improvements to make it better for drivers
Spark could solve a lot of the issues discussed by just allowing drivers to stack orders. If there's no incentive l don't feel motivated to just do Spark. Curbside orders tie up a lot of time that you could be earning m o n e y.
if it is a delivery order/batched order. So it will be a ton of stops with packages like a postal person would deliver but from walmart. that is different then the regular food deliveries. With groceries, I may have up to 3 deliveries at a time at most. I have done the delivery orders before with 16 stops and it paid $65. It took me almost 3 hours. that is like $20/hour but they have been paying less so definitely not for less. and it depends on your city size if it is worth it in mileage
That’s wrong. I found out the other day. I had like 10 to 12 deliveries with a lot of miles and I didn’t only got paid 20 bucks. Trust me it was not worth it.
Today I got off the waiting list just got approve to be a spark driver didn't wait long maybe a week so sorry now am here trying to figure out do I have to use the Pacific card to swipe to purchase the items or are the items ready pay already? ed
Those are the worst. I had to cancel 80% of those orders because they take over 30mins just to get your items out. I will never accept another Uber Walmart order.
@@ChickenThug55not for me. They usually have it out pretty fast on Uber in my city. I hate how spark you have to wait about 20-30 minutes for an order you accepted to be available to check in. Then the time it takes to get the order out. Takes too long. I usually go do a dd and will try Uber
Last week I accepted an $11 because it was headed toward home. They immediately offered add on for $9 to same neighborhood. Apparently had hidden tips, after dropoff it ended up being $46.
What about your metrics? If you have 2 more walmarts in your area and your only accepting orders from one walmart its hurts your metrics. What's your thoughts? Only reason i ask is because i only have 2 walmarts and no other places to pick up from around me. There about 28 minutes apart. I get orders from one when im around the other walmart coming back from a drop off and be 45 minutes away from it. At the end of the day my metrics was affected. Is it just me or it it other people?
It seems to me that there’s money in this. The problem is people are lazy and don’t want to work and they also don’t want to put the wear and tear on their car. The first reason is inexcusable, but the second one is a valid reason.
Dude, today was my first day using spark. I hate it. Why does spark lie about how much the order is. I have like $20 in tips I can’t have access to. Why does spark keep all of our tips?!
Be careful if ur already a driver, any kind of ticket will get u immediately deactivated, I got a stupid texting while driving ticket and they immediately found out and deactivated my account, BS
Some walmart associates are suck .......i rather get offer from home depot , having 1400 to 1500 pay check ...beside i got my full time job not really bad.

Same here. I mainly do spark and use DoorDash as a filler. That’s the only two gigs available in my market.
How can you door dash and speak at the same time? I’m dashing now and want to try spark as well.
If you drive for Uber Eats, do you have to sign up for regular Uber?
no
Walmart Spark might be good in my city . We have 3 Walmart stores and 1 Sams Club . All are about 10-15 min away .
City. ?

Spark could solve a lot of the issues discussed by just allowing drivers to stack orders. If there's no incentive l don't feel motivated to just do Spark. Curbside orders tie up a lot of time that you could be earning m o n e y.
So am I hearing this right you pick up the orders and then you got 16 different drop offs so I got 16 different stops is that correct
if it is a delivery order/batched order.
I do ok on Spark considering bots being a problem, but have a hard time getting any good offers on DD or UE. Any suggestions anyone?
I'm a brand new spark driver. This scares me now. Should I be doing door dash and other driver apps too?
Some people do door dash whenever spark isn’t busy
Furry mon
Today I got off the waiting list just got approve to be a spark driver didn't wait long maybe a week so sorry now am here trying to figure out do I have to use the Pacific card to swipe to purchase the items or are the items ready pay already? ed
When you go to the self checkout, you are going to scan the QR code. That’s it. No card . That’s how it is here in NC.
@@lashawnholland2771 this. Also a tip for homegirl the Round Robins are Hit or miss for the most part
@@lashawnholland2771 thnak u so much fo rthis cause these lines here tampa be long I though we could not use self check out
Hi what zip code did you use?
Agree with yu 😮
UberEats sometimes sent me to do some delivery at Walmart.
Those are the worst. I had to cancel 80% of those orders because they take over 30mins just to get your items out. I will never accept another Uber Walmart order.
Same. I prefer Uber in my area over the rest. My car just expired 😢so I need to scrounge dough for a new one.
My local Walmarts keep saying they don't even deal with Uber.
@@miltchamberlain6218 yeah if you have talked to them you know far it went already. LOL
@@miltchamberlain6218 walmarts support is a joke big time!!!

Walmart sucks I got deactivated and they don’t answer appeals or emails 😢
Revivewhiz Activated mine
What did you do?
If you have a referral code, that would be magnificent! Gracias, amigo!
Why isn’t it in Canada?
What's the differences between a large, medium, small? Items to bags?
I still can’t sign up for some reason
What happen with Dlvrd
Have you noticed the rates are dropping
spark doesnt pay enough
Spark was terrible, I deleted the app back In January. Low pay, long waits, and hillbilly customers👎🙄👎
I live between 3 Walmarts in a 5 mile radius
It seems to me that there’s money in this. The problem is people are lazy and don’t want to work and they also don’t want to put the wear and tear on their car. The first reason is inexcusable, but the second one is a valid reason.
My deactivated I don’t know why what I’m gonna do
You never mentioned what’s happening with the Venezuelan cartel
You make it seem like it’s all peaches and cream and it’s not
The wait times better match the payouts. Ie make it worth an HOUR
You look like Henry Cejudo lol
I’ve met you Mike, I like your stuff, but you don’t understand spark well enough. You should delete this video.
Bro your head must be in the sand serious money on Spark but the Venezuelans across the country I’ve captured that money do some homework
Dude, today was my first day using spark. I hate it. Why does spark lie about how much the order is. I have like $20 in tips I can’t have access to. Why does spark keep all of our tips?!
Walmart doesnt keep your tips. The tips show the next day because the customer has 24 hours to make an adjustment.
How make ID spark
Be careful if ur already a driver, any kind of ticket will get u immediately deactivated, I got a stupid texting while driving ticket and they immediately found out and deactivated my account, BS
How fast were you going over the speed limit?
Wow. And I just got a ticket yesterday. How long after you got a ticket did Walmart deactivate you?
@@mtn7224
did you get deaktivated
Really ?
!!
Walmart spark is dead R. I.P. I'm not wasting my time any more.
Walmart Spark is HORRIBLE and not worth it. You are far better off to flip burgers at McDonald's
Some walmart associates are suck .......i rather get offer from home depot , having 1400 to 1500 pay check ...beside i got my full time job not really bad.
How many hours are you putting in a week? Is it instant pay?
I assumed this video would be in Spanish(Venezuelan dialect)
