Skipcart has the worst driver experiences. They assign drivers who are closer to the pickup. If no one is available in that zone, they will send someone to pick up 30 mins away, and it could be you. They can also cancel or reassign you on the way to pick up or not. If business forgot to give you something to that delivery, then skipcart can call you and ask you to go back to pick up the remaining items and throw a few extra dollars on your pay
@@georhohm Immaturity and app saturation is everywhere because all these new startup companies think they can jump the wagon of AI gold rush and apply a hit & run strategy
Yeah I get it, but at least it gets it on our radar. A lot of these you can still sign up on the wait list. Some companies have expanded quite quickly in the past (Lime, Cargo/Uber, Shipt)
And movers who work for a company usually earn well over $50/hour, have a CDL and are licensed and bonded through their company. If you dropped & broke someone’s heirloom you could be sued otherwise.
@@helenaroman1543 very true!! I read in excruciating detail the terms of service for a particular delivery app which made me the driver wholly responsible. I decided not to accept the offer to drive with them.
A warning for Dolly, the app is more or less workable, but it is buggy. There was a point where a guy I work with on the platform wasn’t paid for over a month due to some technical issue, and I wasn’t for a week or so as well. Both of us got the appropriate pay when it was taken care of, but it did happen.

Big ambition but not a lot of experience, currently working overnights as a merchandiser, but really want to work for myself and generate some income to fund a small business that will be successful and make a profit and set myself up for the future, as I don’t have any retirement, and will be 50 in a few years
The main problem with videos like this is it creates OVER SATURATING IN THE MARKETS/APPS. This is why most apps start off good then TANK cause EVERYONE and their mother knows about it.
Angi absolutely SUCKS for a small business or independent contractor. You can specify your services specifically, and they will STILL send you irrelevant leads outside your scope of work. And they will charge you. And hassle you when you call to get it reversed. Hard pass!
Thanks for sharing. As long as you follow TOS for gig platforms you should be good. Keep in mind you may be classified as an "at will" independent contractor and could be deactivated at any time. I'm not an expert on legalities and intricacies of that though. Also remember these companies want you on their platforms so they don't want to deactivate you unless you violate their TOS.
@@YourDriverMike oh I do my best. It seems like some content creators have gotten out of hand and the gig companies have had to rap them across the knuckles
Most apps aren't worth it unless you just want to donate your time and effort. You'll be lucky if you get fairly compensated enough to recoup your fuel costs. This guy is just reading from the companies scripts. He doesn't know squat
Hi Mike, I’m also Mike, delivering in Boston MA. I am coming up with better ideas on how to make multiapping more efficient for both drivers and customers. I’d like to talk more with you about my ideas as I design a newly integrated app, combining GH DD and all the others together in one line of commute, are you up for it ?
Here's my video on Bungii: th-cam.com/video/i-oAc-D4WXE/w-d-xo.html&t yeah I would hope the site has a forklift and it's just palletized but regardless you're suppose to help with loading and unloading. The pay is great but yes lots of labor. Give me a back brace and some good gloves and I'd try it. I'd imagine lots of cement bags, tile, flooring etc
They (Jitsu) also limit you to being within 50 miles from the nearest city/hub. So even though I have an abundance of opportunities close by (the area I'm in in SoCal people commute this distance regularly bc of COL for housing) they won't let me sign up because of what they consider 'out of range'. Doesn't matter if you're willing to drive into an area and hustle- they won't let you sign up. And no, there is no wait list. (I asked)
I wouldn’t recommend Jitsu. They don’t pay prop 22. I’ve driven a lot of miles with them for the peace of mind of having a guaranteed rate, but I could’ve had a new car by now had they paid prop 22.
Great Video! What I searched for and exactly the kind of honest information I wanted. I really appreciate it! I'll be haunting your website I imagine. If you have referral codes, I will use them for you.
Im gonna try some of these. Hopefully they work. Then ill move to the next video So; Bunny studio is currently closed for applicants. Veho has a 25 minimum age requirement And the rest i cant do bc i have a baby :/ and some are just not available in my area in general. Failed. Also Steady is closed entirely for whatever reason

Have you thought about mystery shopping? I know a lady in her 60s, making good money. There’s no age discrimination, which makes my heart happy for seniors. You can do it online as well. That way you won’t have to drive.
Only if you a Notary Signing Agent. Specific concentration in real estate. $400+ for test, commission, renewal. Must know Notary law for your state. Lots to learn. And while I am a veteran, I am not getting many requests. The newbies screw up and don't care. @@lorenamcgovern
Look at that it was approved that's your tip they have no business I wouldn't I was going to not finish the application. How did Uber about 10 years ago and I got this $8 tip it was more than the order
I actually just applied for a job and they're in California and they did say in the training about your tips let them know all about that before you even leave. You have to let them know about this before you finish your job
Not a bad gig, but do not set your rates too low even when others might. Only time you should do that is to get some initial clients/reviews but then raise them to market value (or above if you're experienced). Remember the commute time to the client, time at the house then driving back.
