      I add hummus to pasta sauces to make them a little creamier and add protein. It's wonderful.

    I’ve been making my tofu scramble with thinned hummus, nutritional yeast, turmeric and paprika. Really good

    I love soft tofu but have never though of preparing it his way! Such a lovely twist to a classic tofu scramble! Plus, I can totally understand why it would be better with rice than with toast!

    I have all the things to make at least two of these, and I'm making them this week. Thank you for the inspiration! I am in a rut .Suggestion for a future video: make ahead vegan breakfasts....all I can ever find is stuff with eggs and oatmeal lol You're the best, Rose!

    I will have to find some soba noodles. The soy curds maybe hard to find local but Amazon has everything.

    Hi Rose, I made the tofu tomato stir fry and ate it with white rice. It was delicous! I do have a question. I used a whole tofu block which made quit a bit. But probably ate have and saved the other half for probably 2mrw. Do you eat it all at one sitting? Or save half too? I could probably split 3-4 meals out of it. But I eat alot. Lol

      Don't press soft tofu, the name suggests it's a bad idea.

    Thank you for saying zucchini noodles aren’t noodles! Lol they could never replace a real meal. I need carbs, not crunchy water
    Btw the soba noodles releasing starch is the reason the soup thickens up :)

    So, for recipe #1; can you do it with canned tomatoes at all? I kind of live in a food desert and either fresh veggies are too expensive, out of stock or not available period. Also, do you need the cooking wine or could you just add more vinegar or soy sauce? For recipe #3; could you make some suggestions on frozen or canned veggies that might in that noodle soup? Thanks.

      I think you could definitely try with canned tomatoes! it'd be slightly different , but i imagine canned diced or whole tomatoes could work well~
      if you don't have mirin, you can just add more vinegar or soy sauce for sure
      for #3, I'd probably add in mixed frozen vegetables, and also canned corn! hope that helps :)

      I think the tofu dish can be good for one or two servings! The soft tofu packet is not too big so I could def eat the whole thing in one sitting but could also work for two servings if you eat with plenty of rice

    I personally don’t like when recipes focus on being helpful for weight loss because it’s really not what I think should be the focus for us and can really cause a negative relationship to food.

      fair enough but some people have fitness/weightloss goals and I think that's totally fine too. I don't promote super low calorie or extreme diets but I just want to provide yummy recipes that aren't super high in calories. even if you're not into weight loss, these are still great to eat

      This is obviously aimed at people who do need useful recipes with lower calories to help them reach their weight goals. I dont think having weight goals and using calories is is causing a negative relationship with food and its unhelpful to say that anyone counting calories or finding these videos helpful are causing negative relationships with food.
