    I'm a terrible cook, so I hate to make a suggestion, but here goes...I always have a carton of veg broth in the fridge and I would use that over water in the savory recipes because it easily adds more flavor.

    • @amberh.5393
      @amberh.5393 4 ปีที่แล้ว +27

      Same! Anytime I make rice or couscous, I use veg broth instead of water. Definitely gives it a flavor boost!

      @@dru713281 I see, you recommend a no-salt broth. I do homemade ones that way for sure. I refer to it as 'onion water' :)

    Usually, for my stir fry, I'll fry up some onions & bell peppers, add the noodle, add a cup of diluted soy sauce, cook it down until it's all absorbed, and then I'll add a sweet and spicy sauce.
    It takes a bit more time but it tastes amazing if you cook it right

      Nah - "tortilla" is too generic, it might be large OR small and flour OR corn and soft OR hard. "Soft shell taco" is the proper term, otherwise she would have to say a "Small Soft Corn Tortilla." 🧐🤓 Word "tortilla" alone does not convey what she recommends. Tortilla by itself implies made of flour and large burito size versus the smaller size CORN TACO sized tortilla

    Made the noodles using brown rice noodles, and since I'm transitioning slowly to veganism (and since I had a ton of cans of tuna) I used green peas, collard greens, sweet potato (which I cooked with the noodles and it worked perfectly), and a premade peanut miso sauce with a little extra miso and ginger. And of course, the ultimate secret ingredient, lemon juice. It was delicious, and one of the quickest meals I've made recently. Thank you for the ideas!

I’m a mom - empty nester with my husband. I think they all eat really bad food - although I still cook them meat (as long as I don’t have to physically touch it - tongs ok). But they love my vegan food.

    These recipes are great. Another tip for those who are looking for vegan recipes is to go to food allergy resources and find foods without milk or egg. I look at the Alan App and sometimes search dairy-free egg-free to get recipes.
