    I am not going to lie, I no longer have the patience to make such beautiful meals. But, the ideas for the flavours and ingredients here are just so so nice! The only element which surprised me was the herbs de Provence in the sushi bowl - I would probably switch up the seasonings so that they suited the Asian inspiration a bit more!
    .
    Anyways, thank you for these ideas Rose!
    Have a great end of the week!

    I feel like I’m out of the loop because I’ve only grown up with the people around me just generically callings these grain bowls. I was so confused for a bit. Lol. But seriously, sweet potato is my personal addiction. I saw the video and instantly needed some. All I had though were a bag of Coverbridge sweet potato chips…now they’re gone. XD So question, have you noticed the price of food going up in your area? Noticed it here in the martimes. Should totally rant about it on the podcast. Lol.

    • @davidthescottishvegan
      @davidthescottishvegan 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, unfortunately food prices seem to be going up everywhere. Whether that's due to COVID, inflation, Brexit ( the UK leaving the EU) and the war in Ukraine and other factors that are causing this. Energy prices are also increasing. It's a situation we just have to endure and put up with because unfortunately consumers don't control prices.

    are soba noodles only supposed to be eaten cold? my favorite sushi place has a soba noodle dish, but its served cold, and the idea of cold pasta just turns me off from ordering it, even though i really wanna try it!

    • @CheapLazyVegan
      @CheapLazyVegan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      not necessarily but usually i find they are eaten cold! I've eaten them in hot soups though so they work both ways~ but i think more common is cold

    If British people call cilantro 'coriander' then what do they call coriander?

    • @jeroenvanderlaan9636
      @jeroenvanderlaan9636 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Coriander seeds

    • @jonathanjames7181
      @jonathanjames7181 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jeroenvanderlaan9636 that still seems confusing to me when you have the powder, but fair enough I guess if you were used to it

    • @CheapLazyVegan

      i'm very confused by this question lol

    • @jeroenvanderlaan9636
      @jeroenvanderlaan9636 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@CheapLazyVegan i can totally understand. The stem and leaves of the coriander plant are called cilantro in the US but they are called coriander in the uk. The seeds of the coriander plant are called coriander seeds in the UK but they are called plain coriander (as if they were the compete plant) in the US. Like Jonathan says, the other makes no sense if you're not used to it . But in my opinion (as a Dutch guy) the US naming is weird.

    • @jeroenvanderlaan9636
      @jeroenvanderlaan9636 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jonathanjames7181 oh and ground coriander is coriander powder and is always made from seeds, this would only be confusing if we would pulverize the dried stem and leaves as well.
