    I just made this smoothie this morning, and it is delicious! It's slightly sweet, tart, and refreshing. The only thing I substituted was coconut water for plain water. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

    I love that you emphasize the organic. Switching to organic not only helped my weight but my complexion due to the chemicals they spray on fruits/veggies (pesticides, fungicides, herbicides on gmo food) that have synthetic estrogen bases/xenoestrogens. My overall health also improved not just my looks! :)

    Good tip: Heating spinach actually breaks down the oxalic acid (which binds to and blocks some of the nutrients) within so you get more vitamins, protein, calcium plus several other nutrients. Raw spinach is still good for you, you just get way more nutritional value out of heated spinach! :)

      Ana Luisa Lima Yes! You can either steam or sauté it. Once it starts to get that nice dark green color when it looks "wet" or "wilted," thats when that acid breaks down and all the good stuff starts to come out more! :) I love to do this then mix it with riced cauliflower or something else to make it even tastier!

      Whitney Ann thank you for the tip regarding heating spinach before blending. I just bought a bag of pre-washed Baby Kale should I steam them too before making green smoothie

    So, I've tried this 5 times since this video and I love it! I've tried adding turmeric instead of cayenne pepper because I wasn't a huge fan of the spice. The smoothie is really good but I definitely wish I had a juicer to use for it rather than a blender!

    I’ve tried this a few times just for myself. This smoothie is great and tastes so good! I will admit on my first attempt, I added too much of the ginger. But I sweetened it with more pineapple and a banana, it tastes so good!

    I make the same green smoothie!! Instead of store bought frozen pineapples my mom buys regular pineapples and then cuts it up and puts the slices in a freezer bag and then freezes it. I also add little orange juice and water. Then I top it off with chia seeds. Its pretty much my evreyday breakfast (:

    Since I have the reflux of an old woman, I substitute anything spicy with cinnamon. It adds a kick without having me reach for the tums later and has some great health benefits, too! Definitely going to try your super tasty looking green smoothie!

    I've always avoided green smoothies thinking I wouldn't like them but you've inspired me to try.
    On a different note, I would love to see you do some tutorials using more morphe eyeshadow palettes! I feel like they're one of the few companies releasing good quality palettes that just about everyone can afford. I know you have done a couple using the 350 but it would be great to see you using some of the other palettes.

    Omg I love this! I used to make a smoothie almost like this but your smoothie looks so much greener, lol. Also, I love how Kyle is out of the frame like in those old cartoons when they would barely show anyone. Don't know if that made sense but it made me laugh lol

    I love that you went crazy with the ginger, I'm not alone in the world, haha! I add SO MUCH to my juices. I love the little spice it gives! I say 'crazy' because a few of my friends add a FLAKE and think it's too much...I'm like give me a chunk, por favor.

    You're the only person I watch on TH-cam nowadays, keep up the good work!
    Had a suggestion for a video, I can't seem to find anything on it and I struggle with it: using cream and powder products together. I never know how to apply products and what order if I'm using a mix of say cream highlight, powder blush. Cream highlight (except for Coverfx) doesn't layer over my powder blush.

    I have a Vitamix machine and make my green/purple smoothies (cuz I add frozen blueberries) almost daily! Wards off colds n' flu during this time of the year too. ;-)) Thumbs Up!

    Thank you for sharing your green smoothie recipe! I love green smoothies and never thought to add cayenne to it! I bet it adds a nice kick to it! I would definitely like to see more videos like this! The benefits of the smoothies and your diet definitely shows in your skin. You have beautiful skin!

      you can add avocado instead of banana if you want your smoothie to be nice and creamy (: you can't really taste the avocado in your smoothie so that's okay

      For a blendtec or vita mix one does not need to cut the fruit up so small as it has the power to mix up bigger pieces. For a mixer that is not very expensive you must cut up the stuff like she is.
      That is a great deal you got it on Craigslist.

    My smoothies are usually fruit heavy but I'll try to add more veggies than a handful of spinach 😂 definitely not celery though. I hate that stuff.

    Hey Melissa! Helpful tip: try peeling ginger with a spoon. Seriously, like put the spoon against the edge with the curve facing forwards and scrape towards you (life-changing hack)!

      Just so you know you should drink the smoothie as soon as possible and not storing it for next day

      neeharika soni yes, I drink it right after making it and only store what we can finish for less than 24 hours in a mason jar - I know they start to loose vital nutrients after being made

      valdene wright I think instead of creating a whole new channel I would just make these like "bonus" videos on my current channel - I don't really like when people have multiple channels I like it all in one but would NEVER stop doing makeup tutorials!

    Love It!! I make this exact smoothie and change up the Apple, pear, with green grapes. I usually only do one though. Apple or pear or grapes, but all go in well. I don't add the spice, but I do add a dash Himalayan sea salt. It's by far my favorite green smoothie. Sometimes I strain out the fiber and just drink the juice, but it's great either way. 💪❤ I crave this smoothie.

    I tried it but I can't get past the pulp, I don't like pulpy drinks😖. I know it's a smoothie but i tried the juice(made it with a juice extractor) and I like it better. But I assume it's better as a smoothie because everything stays in the drink, while the juice extractor takes away some benefits of the fruits and veggies.

      Jen Zara Maybe it's because you aren't using a Vitamix. Vitamix pulverates it all! No pulp no chunks! But it's $$$.

    Can't wait to try this!! Do you know where you got that cheat sheet you were using? Also, have you ever tried using avocado or chia seeds? Would you recommend using those?

    This was delish! I realized afterward that I should’ve added more pineapple (for my taste), so I just added a little raw agave instead-so good. I’m excited for more. 😁
